All He Loves Box July 2019 "America" Review

We received this insert that tells us our theme which is "America" and gives a brief description as well as retail values for each of the items in our box. Our box this month includes products from veteran-owned or companies that support veterans in honor of those who have served our country. What a great theme!

Whiskey Operator Cap by Virtus - Retail Value $24.99

Our first item is this great hat from Virtus which is a veteran-owned apparel company. For every item sold they donate $1.00 to military charities. This cap is meant to be great for everyday tactical wear and should be comfortable enough to wear for all-day training with the built-in wicking sweatband around the inside. The logo on the front serves as both a hook and a loop patch so that those in service can attach their own patches if they want. There is also a small one at the top of the hat as well.

My husband and I both really love the style of this hat, although it does seem to fit a bit snugly which might be attributed to the fact that it serves a tactical purpose as well. My husband's head is smaller than mine and while it is a bit tight, he still finds it to be comfortable.

I do think it looks a bit cuter on the baby though.

Scotsman Dress/Casual Argyle Socks by Boldfoot Socks - Retail Value $15.00

These socks are really nice and they are 100% American-made right down to where the materials were grown. In addition to their commitment to quality, Boldfoot also donates 5% of their profits to U.S. Military Veterans in need through various charities that offer jobs, housing, and more. This sounds like a great company! They even offer free sock insurance for 3 months to back their workmanship.

My husband liked the style of these socks a lot and found them to be comfortable and was pleased with their quality. These will go great with a lot of his work attire!

Travel Halo - Retail Value $14.00

This next item is from a Service Disabled Veteran-owned business and it is definitely a unique item! This portable head stabilizer comes in quite the package with its own carrying bag and even includes a set of foam earplugs to help you get really cozy.

The main component is actually made up of two separate parts. The first is the head stabilizer with two small rectangular pillows that help to hold your head steady as you sleep. It has a flat back design so there us no added strain to your neck during use. The second part is the eye mask which hooks on by wrapping the straps through the holes on the stabilizer and velcroing them together. The sleep mask contains microbeads and can be flipped up when you aren't using it.

My husband found it to be pretty comfortable and cozy! He hasn't actually used it yet, but with three kids running around our house, I'm thinking of stealing it and hunkering down for an epic nap one of these days to test it out for him!

Solid Cologne by Duke Cannon in Bourbon - Retail Value $25.00

My husband isn't a cologne-wearer, but he might actually wear this because it smells so good! I like the packaging of this solid cologne and even more, I love their commitment to supporting veterans and the fact that a portion of their proceeds goes towards this great cause! This cologne is supposed to be a woodsy, oak barrel scent that is inspired by Buffalo Trace Distillery and it is made with natural ingredients like sunflower oil, beeswax, coconut oil, and calendula extract. In addition to being woodsy and a tad smoky, the scent also smells like a nice clean bar of soap. My husband is a fan and so am I!

RuckPack 3 oz. Energizers in Strawberry and Raspberry - Listed Value $7.00 (Buy a sampler pack of 6 here for $20.99)

The last items in our box were these two bottles of RuckPack energy drinks in strawberry and raspberry flavors. They are made with only natural sweeteners (stevia), have no synthetic caffeine, and they were "originally founded by Marine Special Operations Forces in the battlefields of Afghanistan; RuckPack™ is combat nutrition designed to help you stay cool, alert, driven, and physically ready to ramp up when needed." I only tasted a small sip of the strawberry one and it reminded me of the juice at the end of a Fla-Vor-Ice pop with a super sweet aftertaste that neither of us enjoyed too much. It wasn't awful and if I were still in my days of waitressing and needed a boost for the late shift, I might opt for this, but these days, coffee is more my speed and my husband's as well! While these weren't really something my husband was too excited over in the box, he does appreciate that they donate 5% of their profits to non-profit organizations which definitely made the inclusion of these drinks worthwhile!

Verdict: This month's All He Loves box theme of America and supporting veterans was a really special one that my husband (and I) enjoyed. Honestly, if it goes to supporting veterans, we aren't going to care too much what is inside, but fortunately, the items my husband received were all pretty awesome. My husband's favorite items were the hat and the cologne and I know he will get a lot of use out of those socks. The Travel Halo is something nice to have that he could definitely appreciate, but wouldn't necessarily have bought for himself, which are sometimes our favorite types of items! The total retail value of this box came to about $86 which is awesome for a $50.99 ($45 + $5.99 shipping) box, especially one with items that all support veterans in some way!

Love that this box supports veterans! I don’t know how I’ve missed all the previous reviews on this box. Went back and read all the reviews and it really sounds like an awesome box that my husband would enjoy receiving. Thanks for such a great review!
