Each box comes with two info cards, one listing the featured item of the month—the Dapper Dog monthly bandana—and the other has some social media info as well as a little more info about the charitable nature of this box.

Murray is ready to dig in!

Spa Day Bandana - Listed Value $30

This reversible bandana is the cutest! One side is spa-day themed and the other has an irresistible pastel donut pattern. Here is the bandana displaying both sides; the size and shape made it really easy to tie on Murray, and I only had to fold it twice to fit him.

Murray is definitely feelin’ himself this month! He is sporting an impressive beard since his last two hair appointments were canceled, but he doesn’t mind one bit!

June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Bonus1June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Bonus2June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Bonus3

Ruff Relief Moisturizing Nose and Paw Balm - Retail Value $24.99 (Found here for $16.99)

This item is listed as a bonus, and what a handy product to have for summer! Last year I loaded Murray’s paws up with a similar product before and after walks on those scorching summer days, and his paws stayed supple all season long. This version is non-toxic with all-natural ingredients, and it is also hypoallergenic. The salve texture can be a little greasy, so I’d recommend keeping your pup off of any carpets or upholstery until the product sinks in.

Bocce’s Bakery Bedtime Tea Biscuits, 5oz - Retail Value $5.50

Bocce’s Bakery has been featured in quite a few Dapper Dog boxes, and my household loves and trusts Bocce’s to treat our boy!

June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Treat3

Made in the USA, these treats are wheat-free, and only contain 4 ingredients including oat flour, banana, vanilla, and lavender. When we opened this bag, Ryan said “These actually smell pretty tasty..” and Murray agreed! He gobbled 3 of them as we were trying to get photos!

Pawstruck Large Esophagus Braided Stick - Retail Value $6.99 (Found here for $5.59)

This treat is made of 100% beef esophagus and is also 100% digestible. This is the type of snack I like to give Murray once a month or so to loosen up any built-up plaque or other gunk on his teeth.

June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Stick3June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Stick4

Even though this stick is really stinky, I let Mur go wild for about 10 minutes at a time. I like to monitor his time with treats like this since he has a sensitive stomach and these tend to break up into small choking-hazardous shards. Another big hit with the pooch, though!

June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Rose1June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Rose2

Zippy Paws Happy Hour Crusherz Rosé Toy - Retail Value $7.99

Murray loves any toy that has a crunch to it, so he was all over this water bottle toy by Zippy Paws.

June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Rose3June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Rose4

This toy actually came with a plastic water bottle already inside the little velcro patch, and it is topped with a squeaky cap, so when he bites down on the water bottle, it lets out a loud squeak! We had a few water bottle toys in the past, but none of them had this alluring feature. Plus, how cute is that rosé bottle?

June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Lemon1June 2019 Dapper Dog Box - Lemon2

Petlou Lemon Toy, 8 inches - Retail Value $8.49

I could have sworn this was a lime... Either way, this fat little plush became an instant favorite once Murray got his paws on it. There is a squeaker centrally located in this colorful toy, and Murray had no problem squeaking it over and over and over again!

This toy wouldn’t last long with an avid chewer, but Murray tends to treat his toys gently, so I think this one will stay with us for a while.

Verdict: Murray loved everything featured this month! This month’s box has a value of $57.57. Considering that Murray loved each item in this box, I feel it is well worth the cost! I especially appreciated the bonus salve, that we will definitely be using up during the next couple of months.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the July box. Monthly cut-offs are the 20th of each month to get that month’s box.

Love your review and sweet sweet Murray but what happened to Eric and Buckles???

Murray is such a sweetheart! I wonder if that paw balm would help my parents dog in winter. He can’t handle the cold on his paws! Even when there is no salt or ice melt on the ground, he can only be outside for a few minutes in freezing weather before he starts doing a sad little dance to try and get all his paws off the ground at once.

I have a similar paw balm and I use it year round! It really helps in the winter if they start to get tiny cracks in their paw from the cold or the salt that can be on the road. I use it on their noses too, so they don’t get too dry. I got mine at PetSmart. 🙂
