For less than double the price of this, you can get one of the two available Net a Porter kits. I got one each and am thrilled. All full sizes, all top end, value in excess of $625, for 90 bucks.

Right here on MSA…go to the search box here, type in net-a-porter, and you’ll get link to both, plus commentary. Forgot to add that each kit comes with a genuine leather make up bag, that could easily double as an evening clutch.

Hi, by any chance do you have the name of that kit or how to find it? I’d love to check it out. Thanks!

I found it by searching for “beauty kit” on net a porter and looking at what was $90. At least I think I found what that person was referring to.

@MSA the size of the PTR potent-c power serum appears to be incorrect.
I was wondering when someone would offer advent calendars for Christmas in July! I’m tempted, but I have just paid for several boxes of full sized items. I’m holding off for now 😂

You could keep it for the Advent season 😉

I was thinking the same thing 🙂 Even though “Christmas in July” is in the title, it doesn’t look like it says anything about Summer on the actual box.

Maybe I’m a cynic but this seems like a production/inventory error and QVC is trying to pretend it is deliberate. I don’t see anything anywhere on the packaging that mentions Christmas “in July”, it just looks like a Christmas item that they’re trying to unload off-season but without the deeply discounted off-season price tag. As others have pointed out, an advent calendar is a countdown…there is nothing Christmassy to count down to in the summer. It’s just plain weird.
I’m thinking something went wrong – maybe there was a delay in the production of the boxes last year and QVC ended up with a bunch of advent calendar boxes too far into the season or even after the season to reasonably expect to sell them for the 2018 holidays. So instead of selling them at a deep discount in January or keeping them in their inventory until Xmas 2019, they pretend it’s a deliberate “Christmas in July” product. Nope. I’m not buying it. Someone messed up and qvc is trying to make lemonade out of an obvious lemon.
If they wanted to have a summer advent calendar they should have done just that…decorate the box with beach balls and umbrella drinks and have a countdown to the first day of summer, or something like that. This whole Christmas countdown concept is just dumb. HARD pass. Obviously!

They are running all kinds of Christmas items now and every July for people who shop for kids and grandkids early and then put things away. I know grandmas that are like that. I’m sure there’s plenty of grandmas buying these for their teenage granddaughters to give them at the start of Advent.

QVC is selling all kinds of Christmas things right now. They do every July. A lot of their customer base shops very early for the holidays and puts things away for kids and grandkids until later. They have a whole Christmas in July section on their website and are running Christmas in July programming.

Agreed and I think it’s glaringly obvious to anyone familiar with sub boxes. I clicked on this expecting a great deal.

Im not a cynic by nature and I totally agree with you. As soon as I saw the title, I started thinking… what?
Then seeing the design on the box, it just screams desperation for QVC in July
Nope… not buying into this at all.

Is nothing sacred?! What does it count down to school and sadness?

Kajillions of parents are counting down to school right now. So are kajillions of non-parents who would like to be able to go to the supermarket or Target in the morning without hating every minute of it LOL.

I was wondering what it was counting down to as well (lol), but I guess it could be anything Summer related?… vacation, school, etc?
