Enchanted Crystal of the Month: Green Kyanite

First, you'll see a greeting from Adam of Enchanted Crystal. I love these personal notes as they explain behind the scenes details.

Our specimen this month is Green Kyanite.

Let's unwrap!

Green Kyanite

Good to Know: These pieces are about 2 inches long.

I am pretty familiar with Blue Kyanite, but I had no idea it also came in green! Apparently, the green is much rarer to find, which makes these pieces especially cool additions to my collection, despite their demure size. I assumed from the green color that this stone would be associated with luck and/or money, but when I was researching it I found it is much more of a love and healing sort of stone and is said to be particularly beneficial during times of low self-esteem. I am content to admire its interesting green color and the intriguing grey shades that weave in and out of this stone.

Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well.

Good to Know: These are generally no more than an inch long, though the Dragonstone is closer to 1.5 inches.

Silver Leaf Jasper

I really adore jasper because there are so many different types and each looks somehow like a magical abstract painting. This particular stone is mostly black, but it looks like someone took a paintbrush covered with grey and added some artistic strokes. It is quite charming!

Dragonstone

Is there anything quite like Dragonstone? This is another one of those stones that looks handpainted. I can't get over these bright red flecks on the gray swirling background.

Black Tourmaline

My favorite protection stone always brings a smile to my face. I love these little chunks. They are perfect for stashing in your purse, car, BRA, anywhere!

Verdict: Enchanted Crystal remains a favorite of mine. Even when the main specimen seems small (like this month) I can always count on its uniqueness or cool history to make it totally worth it. I really loved the moodier assortment this month, especially that Dragonstone! I can't wait to check out next month!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

My sweet little boy had the most AWESOME polished quartz and other stones years ago. We’d gotten him a rock tumbler and polishing set when he was around 8 years old and the rocks he picked up in our area of the US, which is known for beautiful agate and quartz, came out in all colors.. Some were green like this.

We never did more than admire them as rocks/ crystal formations though. I never tried to sell them as some mystical things or meditate with them. ROFLOL.
