I’m here for it! Mainly because of the eye cream. I figure I can use the vitamin C cream from June for day, and this one at night. I thought I wanted to cancel, but even after getting tanning products (twice) that I don’t need since I was born with a good amount of melanin, I can’t quit her! Ugh!
Am I the only one who wishes they had an IG page?

I skipped the July box. Might skip this one, too. Nothing excites me yet. I have more skincare than I can use at the moment. Unless it’s really something new and revolutionary, I don’t need more skincare right now.

I would really like those samantha eye lashes. I got a free Sunday Riley Ceo Glow turmeric face oil for swap….

Toni Marie

Yes, skincare! I’m all for experimenting, but the July box was just a bit out of my comfort range. The fun thing is that I have treats to share or save for swapping. I know we don’t always get what we want in subscription boxes, but I’m grateful for the chance to try things I likely wouldn’t have heard of, otherwise, and I’ve found some true gems that are everyday staples in my daily routine now. Plus, this is such a fun community to be a part of! 😊

I will definitely swap with you. I also have unused fake lashes from tarte with the glue if you are interested.

I just want to say i’m really pleased that allure has been featuring lots of high end products from cruelty-free and clean beauty brands lately. I cancelled a few months ago, but both built and August are worth a resubscribe to try products I’d actually feel good about repurchasing and supporting.

I’m trying to be better about what brands I purchase, because i know there are plenty of awesome cruelty free options now, but aside from the major ones, it’s hard to know where to find new things to try. It’s awesome to have a subscription box that sends me nice sized samples of ones that might otherwise be under my radar.

If these aren’t variations it looks good.

JennR

Tempted to get this for the Primers cream, but I just don’t trust them not to send out variations. I got burned when they promoted the AmorePacific but got sent $2 hair frizz sheets in foil packets. Not worth chancing it for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Jeri

That happened to me and I ended up cancelling after that…how do they send us hair sheets???? As a variant item for a $200 product?? Doesn’t make sense….their customer service was awful too.

Colleen

Sounds good so far.

Paula

Zzzzzzzzzzzz…..

This looks like a great box! The Primera was just released so I can’t wait to try it!

Yes!!!! This definitely makes up for the virtually useless (for me personally) July bag! I just saw that alpine cream on Sephora the other day, I already love the eye mask and mascara, and a new FS eye cream? I’m excited!

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

Love those eye masks!

Reply ButtonReply

Courtney

Loving these August Spoilers!!!!!

Justjamey

Yikes. None of that looks good. Why oh why do sub boxes, as well as sephora send the benefit mascara all the time?!

These dont look good, and the name brand products that people want to sample before they buy (some of us dont live near a sephora where we can go into the store and ask for a smple to try before we buy) so we depend on sub boxes…I dont mind a GOOD indie brands in the mix, but i wish Allure would figure out what’s gone wrong and fix it.

I do blame them for sending the natasha denona single eyeshadow a few months back, because I tried it, and LOVE IT and now have bought 5 of her pallettes and debating on buying the gold one next!! So I’ve spent almost 600 on eyeshadow thanks to allure in just a few months. Lol…

Jenny

I’ve also loved loved the Natasha Denona eye shadow and have since purchased a mini but have my eye on a palette. I know she just released a smaller palette…$65 ish so may go with that. I will say… when I wear her shadows I get complemented every.single.time. The colors kinda scare me in the palette but wow… they are amazing on.Apart from my friends and colleagues…… I’ve even had a 65 yr + Workman say … wow, your eyes are amazing! And not in a sleazy way just a wow way. So I get the obsession…. because it truly is amazing what it does to your eyes.

Elizabeth

Girl, live your best life! I just splurged on a couple nice palettes yesterday.

Reply ButtonReply

Justmissjamey

Ooooh what pallettes did you pick up?!

I had no clue how great her shadows were, until i tried the single shadow in Allure and wore ot for a couple times and was shocked at how well it stayed on, looked and felt. So i started investing in her pallettes. She has two large ones that are 269, i havent got those two, just the others.

The smaller pallette for 65 that came out is really nice too. I picked it up and i dont need a primer or even a lot of work for my eyes and they look great and stay all day and are super easy to put on. I have over 100 pallettes, and hers are some of my favorite now. They arejt chalky and you can use a couple colors at the same time and get a really amazing look. She also has 2 full matte pallettes out that are really nice too. Ive started to learn that if i try a product and its more pricey, but if that one product does better then 50 others, id rather have that 1 then the other 50, if that makes sense. I was shocked at how nice they are vs other pallettes i have.

Dawn

Thank heavens I don’t wear shadow.

The Nuria eye cream is actually very good (I already use it), so you might be happy with the box for that reason.

Reply ButtonReply

MrsLittle

$600 on eyeshadow?!

Reply ButtonReply

Justmissjamey

Lol yes….im telling you, the shadows are magical. Heck, pick up a 25 dollar mini one and try it, and you will het an idea of how good and forgiving they are vs another shadow. I ws SHOCKED myself and very pleased.

Pink5

Each palette is $125

Shadows not sold separately.

Nina

Her eyeshadows really are amazing though! They practically blend themselves!

Barbara

This makes me very happy. I will have to get 1 or 2 more boxes through Amazon for this month😄

Judith Acosta

I would love a second full sized product in this box. I hate samples

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

Hee!

Sephora is offering a sample size of the Primera cream with a $25 purchase.

I can wait.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Lol! I got that email too! 😀

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

This is starting to look a lot better.

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

I may have to order this through Amazon since Allure told me that I need to put up a fresh card by the 15th or I’ll miss out.

Reply ButtonReply

Nat

So has anyone used this eye cream? How is it?

Reply ButtonReply

inkchick

I use the eye cream already and it’s very good. Keep it in the fridge and it’s even better.

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

Didn’t we just receive an eye cream in June. And how many of this mascara do I need to receive? Hate it.

Nina

Not sure but their cleanser is just ho-hum run of the mill mediocre 🤷🏻‍♀️

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

I got the Cleanser in GlossyBox earlier this year and love it.

Dawna

Yep! I skipped May & July but I’m definitely going for the August box.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

OMG…for real!?! I just finally cancelled this box and now I want it back!🙆 Well, here’s hoping Allure offers a really cool sign up bonus between now and then, otherwise I’ll be paying Amazon a visit next month.

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Diggin’ these spoilers, gonna have to resub for August!

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya M

I like the spoilers too!!! I have to say I’m enjoying my growing stash of eye creams! I’m finding a 2 pm application is amazing for my undereye.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Same here, and also I’ve been going through my skin stuff stash really fast since I started using it on my arms and hands. I can actually see a difference.
