Ahhh Sugar Sugar “Summer Fling” June 2019 Review
This box comes with company information listed on the box (and I am always happy to see that unicorn).
It also comes with an info sheet for the included products and an ingredients list, which I always appreciate for skincare.

I Met You In The Summer Bath Frosting - Listed Value $14.50
Opening up a new bath frosting and seeing the gorgeous swirls is something that I look forward to every month- tell me, how many of your bath products are this pretty? The scent is a blend of sandalwood, white cedar, fresh peaches, bergamot, and vanilla, and it has a great balance of sweet fruit and musk. The bath frostings from Ahhh Sugar Sugar have become one of my favorite ways to suds up thanks to the mix of hydrating butters and a few gentle bits of sugar, and I love how they leave my skin lightly scented.
(Pre) Shaved Ice Pre-Shave Treatment - Listed Value $12
This is a delight- when I opened it up it looked just like a partially melted snow cone! The scent is described as a watermelon mango mojito with notes of jasmine, and I used this scrub the day before the Fourth of July to help my legs be as smooth as possible for a day out by the pool. I typically use some sort of body scrub before shaving, so this wasn't a new concept for me, but I appreciated how hydrating it was compared to some other scrubs I have used- and it felt great in a hot shower after keeping it in the fridge for a bit.
Let's Flamingle Whipped Meringue Body Butter - Listed Value $9.75
The scent on this lotion is a dream- it has notes of pink champagne, lemon macaroon, and buttercream. While this body butter is deeply nourishing, it isn't so rich that I can't use it in the mornings before stepping out in this southern heat
Aloe Ha Sun Soothe - Listed Value $16
This product is another reason I am so happy it arrived right before the Fourth of July- this was the perfect treatment to use on my skin after soaking in the sun, even though I didn't get sunburned thanks to my sunhat and copious amounts of sunscreen (both from the POPSUGAR Must Have Summer box!). This has an orange-hibiscus scent and is made with ingredients like vitamin E, aloe, and botanical infusions to soothe dry skin.
The Verdict: I always look forward to this box because of the creativity and originality, and this month didn't disappoint. While there were only four items this month, the value was still about $10 more than the cost of the box. My favorite of the bunch was the Sun Soothe spray, but nothing this month was a miss for me and I thought it fit cohesively with the theme.
