Sooni Mini Pouch May 2019 Review

Sooni Mini Box 2019 - Sooni Mini Info Card

Here is the info sheet for the box.

Sooni Mini Box 2019 - Sooni Mini Crystal

On the back is a note that my pouch was prepared by Crystal. Thanks, Crystal!

Sooni Mini Box 2019 - Sooni Mini Conditioner

Etude House Silk Scarf Conditioner, 2 oz – Retail Value $2.60

We received the shampoo from this line in a previous pouch, and I am happy to now have the set. This wasn’t too heavy so it should work well for thin and fine hair, but it still gave my curls most of the moisture I needed (I have incredibly dry hair).

Sooni Mini Box 2019 - Sooni Mini Body Cream

Nature Republic Aloe Vera Body Cream, 5.07 oz – Estimated Value $6.90

I can't tell if this lotion is faintly scented with aloe, or if it is unscented and my mind is playing tricks on me. Either is possible, but I think even if you're sensitive to fragrances you should be fine with this one. This was hydrating and non-greasy, and I like the high aloe content in the ingredients list. I think this performs well for the relatively low price so that always makes me happy.

Sooni Mini Box 2019 - Sooni Mini Blackhead

Dewytree Blackhead Out Nose Patches, 2 patches – Retail Value $2 ($1 each)

These nose patches are made with volcanic ash and charcoal extract to draw out impurities and help with sebum. I wasn’t that impressed with these because when using they left a black residue on my nose even though it appeared the mask had dried fully, but it did clear some stuff out so I can’t complain too much.

Sooni Mini Box 2019 - Sooni Mini Lemon

A’Pieu Lemon Vinegar Mask – Retail Value $1.99

unusual ingredients- lemon extract, vinegar, and AH (which I think is an abbreviation for alpha-hydroxy acids?). Either way, I liked this! I do think there was some temporary brightening once I took it off, and it had a lemon scent that was unique.

Sooni Mini Box 2019 - Sooni Mini Mugwort

Moksha Dear Mugwort Mask – Retail Value $3

This is a really great sheet mask - it’s affordable, it’s soothing, and my skin loves it! Mugwort is a plant known in Asia for its anti-inflammatory properties, and it is great for soothing acne or skin irritants. This mask has a great ingredients list with three of the top five being glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and mugwort extract. It fit my face well, and my skin felt plump and happy after wearing.

Sooni Mini Box 2019 - Sooni Mini QI & Jin

The History of Whoo Qi Jin Cream - Buy the 1.7 oz version for $150

This box usually features a few foil samples, but I am happy that the brand for them this month is The History of Whoo- they’re a well-known luxe k-beauty brand with some insanely gorgeous packaging. To be honest, while it is fun to try out such a luxe product, I am not sure the ingredients list justifies the insanely high price tag. I’ll definitely be hanging on to these samples for the next time I am traveling, though!

The Verdict: One of my biggest complaints with this box is the frequency with which hard-to-find brands are included, so I am impressed I was able to find every single item included this month online! What that also means, though, is that it is apparent this month did not meet the promised value of $60. This month's box doesn't even meet the $19.99 cost of the box, with a total value of $16.49 for everything except the foil samples. While these samples are probably worth a few dollars considering the high cost of the full-size version, I definitely think Sooni Pouch needs to up their value in this box in order to remain competitive.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? From Sooni Pouch:

Once your 1st payment has processed, your pouch will be shipped during the first full week of the following month. Ex: If you join between May 1st 12AM EST through May 31st 11:59PM EST, you will receive your pouch on the first full week of June. Subsequent renewal payments will be processed on the 11th of each month.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $19.99 + free US shipping, which means that each of the 6 items in the box has an average cost of $3.33

Not gonna bother re-writing the comment I did before, but didn’t seem to make the cut to get posted.
I would be finding places to file complaints. A promised value is a guarantee and they fall short a lot. I would be angry. Will be looking for new subs after my move and this company will not be on my list.

This sub just gets worse and worse. Every time I read a review I’m surprised by how low the value is, even before I read your total at the bottom. They send such low value items, due to the size it seems much of the time. I just always think about how ripped off I’d feel by the time I get to the last product. But this time as soon as I saw all the products laid out at the top I knew it was going to be bad. I immediately felt like it was the worst month I’ve seen by far. I don’t know how they keep subscribers. One of the worst subs I’ve ever seen for sure.

I even went to past reviews thinking this was a one off but, they seem to fall short of their Promised values often. If the value is promised and not met, I would be informing customer service and filing complaints somewhere. How do they keep getting away with falling short of guarantees? I mean a promised value is a guarantee, is it not?
Great honest reviews though, thanks.

If they sate a $60 value and fall short (in this case, real short) then they need to make it right. Simple. I would be writing customer service. They should have at least included double the products. Wow, would never sub to them. When I am finished with my move and looking for a few new ones to try, (New to me anyways) this entire company is off my list as of now.
