SnackSack sends a pamphlet pictured above every month that contains an abundance of information including social media handles, a menu for their three box options, and some promotions to win snacks and prizes.
Every first-time subscriber receives a reusable tote, which is meant to hold all your snacks.
Now onto the goodies!
Honey Stinger Lemon Waffle, 1.06oz - Buy a box of 16 for $22.24
I can’t put into words how much I love waffles, so this lemon-infused version totally stole my heart. Two thin waffles held together with sticky honey, what’s not to love? This treat has 21 carbs and 150 calories, so I feel relatively guilt-free indulging. The lemon isn’t overpowering, and it definitely enhances the sweet flavor. Delish!
Popchips Yes Peas Popped Pea Chips, 1oz - Buy 6 3oz bags for $22.74
Popchips is such a great brand! My favorite thing about these crunchy crisps is how thin they are; they definitely quench my craving for crunch at lunch and could totally take the place of my current favorite salt and vinegar chip! They taste so much like peas, not overwhelmingly so, but enough to pick it out for sure. I really like them! They are a great alternative to normal fried chips, and they have 6 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber, not too shabby!
Lebby Seasame Chickpea Snacks, 3.5oz – Buy a 6 pack for $27.99
Honey sesame is a great flavor for these tiny balls; it pairs perfectly with the subtle chickpea flavor, and once again, gotta love that crunch. Chickpeas are a great source of fiber and protein, so I love when brands incorporate them into delicious snacks! Another winning snack from Lebby!
Oogie’s Spicy Nacho Cheddar Popcorn, 1oz - Buy 4 4.25oz bags for $19.95
I love it when my SnackSack includes Oogie’s popcorn, and this is definitely my favorite flavor by far. Spicy Nacho is absolutely poppin’ with flavor! There never seems to be any tiny crumbs at the bottom of the bag of Oogie’s, either; there is something magical about having a bag of popcorn with no kernels or tiny crumbs at the bottom. Another win!
Nugo Double Chocolate Protein Cookie, 3.53oz - Buy 12 cookies for $29
Holy huge cookie! I thought there were two in the package, but no, just one giant one! This enormous cookie tastes a lot like a healthy brownie, which I can’t really complain about. It is moist and has chocolate chips throughout, tricking your brain into thinking you’re eating dessert instead of a vegan, gluten-free and protein-rich snack.
The Smart Co. Cinnamon Twist Smart Tart, 1.97oz - Buy a box of 12 for $29.98
I can’t even remember the last time I ate a Poptart! I love to compare healthier versions of popular snacks, and I am thrilled to say these Smart Tarts are pretty darn good. The Cinnamon Twist flavor was packed with a sticky filling with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar.
The Smart Co. Strawberry Smart Tart, 1.97oz - Buy a box of 12 for $29.98
SnackSack featured two flavors of The Smart Co.’s Smart Tarts this month. Each flavor was great! This strawberry version was filled with a subtly sweet strawberry jam, that left me craving another! Each tart has 180 calories, 8 grams of protein and no artificial ingredients, which totally crushes their Poptart competition.
Bobo’s Almond Butter Oat Bar, 2.5oz – Buy 12 bars for $29.88
This little loaf is so cute! It is quite dense with an oat-heavy texture, very satisfying. The almond butter flavor isn’t pronounced, but I think I prefer this subtle approach. It contains 2 servings, with 190 calories for half a bar. That’s a lot for a little bar, but if I wanted a filling snack, this would be a wholesome pick.
Vegan Rob’s Cauliflower Puffs, 1.25oz - Buy a 3.5oz bag for $3.79
Puffs! Puffs! Puffs! Put any veggie into a puff, and I’m sold! This vegan snack is totally plant-based and gluten-free; it even has probiotics! Vegan Rob knows the puff business; this is definitely one of my favorite versions. Between the crunch and slightly garlicky and oniony seasoning, this is the perfect snack.
Tomer Kosher Cajun Beef Stick, 0.9oz - Buy a box of 10 for $13.99
A slightly spicy pick, this 90 calorie beef stick really hit the mark for me! The texture is less tough than your average beef stick, so biting into it was a pleasure. Without any dairy, gluten or soy, this stick manages to have 7 grams of protein without compromising its ingredients with nitrates or sugar.
Gluck Assorted Veggie Sticks and Chips, 1oz - Buy 8 6oz bags for $31.92
These aren’t your everyday veggie sticks; they are coated in an addictive authentic cheddar that is a total game changer! I love the crunch of this snack and had no issue finishing the whole bag. This snack doesn’t contain any artificial flavors or colors and has no preservatives to boot, an awesome find this month!
Verdict: SnackSack sampled some truly great snacks this month! From savory to salty and some sweet in between, this month’s box really covered every base! SnackSack is always worth it for me because I love snacking (of course!), and I love finding treats that are better for me than your average grocery finds.
