Here is the cute yellow bag the products came in- I am a fan!

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow marc Front

Marc Jacobs Beauty Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter in 50 Dew You? 0.17 oz – Estimated Value $9.37 (buy the full-size version for $45)

This is a lightweight highlighter infused with coconut water, and I like the versatility of being able to mix it with foundation or using it on top my cheekbones for extra shine.

I decided to mix it with my concealer, and I was happy with the all-over subtle glow this gave me.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow charlotte Front

Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon Eye Shadow Pencil in Champagne Diamonds, Full-Size! Retail Value $27

When I first saw this kit, the fact that a full-size Charlotte Tilbury item was included definitely made this kit a must-have for me. The formula is creamy and pigmented, and while you can smudge it, once it sets, it doesn’t budge.

I used it on my lower lash line to enhance my eyes, and according to the description, this pencil in this specific shade was made to enhance blue eyes.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow tarte Front

tarte Seaglass Liquid Eyeshadow - Rainforest of the Sea™ Collection in Suite Life, Full-Size! Retail Value $22

This shimmery metallic liquid eyeshadow reminds me a lot of the Stila Glitter & Glow eyeshadows. I love the Stila shadows, and I love this one too- it blends into other colors well but it can also be used on its own.

I chose to use it to cover my eyelid with the Charlotte Tilbury on my lower lash line, and I think the two paired really well together.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow fenty 1 TopSephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow fenty 2 Open Top

Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer in Shady Biz, 0.1 oz – Estimated Value $13.63 (buy the full-size version for $30)

I am quickly falling in love with everything Fenty offers, so I was excited to try this new bronzer from the brand. Fenty is known for having a wide range of inclusive shades, but Sephora chose to send the second lightest shade available.

This blended out with ease, and I used it to add warmth around the edges of my forehead and jawline.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow artist 1 FrontSephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow artist 2 Top

Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Conceited, 0.04 oz – Estimated Value $6.75 (buy the full-size version for $27)

This powder is an insanely pigmented highlighter, and the shade is an iridescent golden bronze. It is lovely, but the difficulty of getting the right amount of powder out of the small sample means it would be hard to apply correctly as a highlighter- especially since I would need a very light hand due to the potential blinding power of this powder.

Instead, I chose to use it to highlight the inner corners of my eyes, and I thought it was perfect for that.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow becca 1 TopSephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow becca 2 Open

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter in Vanilla Quartz, 0.085 oz – Retail Value $22

This highlighter arrived cracked, but one three-minute call to Sephora customer service had an entire replacement kit shipped to me- talk about satisfactory customer service. Plus, this is probably the least exciting item in the kit for me. While Becca makes some of my all-time favorite powder highlighters, the shade vanilla quartz is a bit too icy for my personal preference. It is described as a light gold infused with pearl, but I definitely pick up more pearl than gold.

I used on the tip of my nose and the high points of my cheekbones.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow laura 1 FrontSephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow laura 2 Open Top

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow in Translucent, 0.03 oz – Estimated Value $2.55 (buy the 0.33 oz version for $23)

This is one of my all-time favorite setting powders- I haven’t even dug into this one yet because I have the same product in a bigger size that I am currently working through. I like the way it diffuses my makeup and helps to blur any mistakes I made while blending, and it helps my makeup to last longer, too.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow lip gloss Front

Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel in 01 Perfect Nude, 0.1 oz – Estimated Value $11.22 (buy the full-size version for $12

This is just a hair smaller than the full-size version, and it definitely brings the shine.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow lip gloss step Front

I found it to be a bit sticky for my tastes, but I thought it went with the other products included in this kit beautifully.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow swatch Top

Here are the swatches. From top to bottom we have the Fenty bronzer, the Artist Couture powder, the BECCA highlighter, the Marc Jacobs highlighter, the Sephora lip gloss, the tarte eyeshadow, and the Charlotte Tilbury shadow stick.

Sephora Favorites Sunkissed Glow Kit Review - Sephora Glow final look Front

Here is the finished look I did- I took off the lip gloss and added a matte lipstick, and I also added eyeliner and mascara. It wasn’t until later that night in a bar bathroom that I realized I never did my eyebrows—oops.

The Verdict: I have mixed feelings about this kit- while I seriously love all of the products included, I definitely think Sephora needs to do a better job about including more universally flattering shades. I am fair with blue eyes so the Charlotte Tilbury and Fenty are perfect for me, but I have a friend who is more olive in complexion and the Fenty doesn’t show up on her skin at all. I don’t think it would be impossible for Sephora to curate kits to fit a wider variety of skin tones, and I hope to see them do so in the future. Value-wise, this kit has a total value of $114.52, which is just slightly more than double the cost of the box, and a few dollars over the promised value of $103.

To Wrap Up :

Can you get this box if you sign up today? Yes, this is still available.

Value Breakdown: This box cost $50.95 ($45 + $5.95 shipping) and had a total value of $114.52, which means you are paying approximately the following per item:

  • Marc Jacobs: $4.17
  • Charlotte Tilbury: $12.01
  • Tarte: $9.79
  • Fenty: $6.06
  • Artist Couture: $3
  • Becca: $9.79
  • Laura Mercier: $1.13
  • Sephora Collection: $4.99

My becca highlighter came broken too! They also are sending me a whole new kit, which is a fantastic trade in my opinion, even if the other becca highlighter comes broken too.

I kinda want this kit, but I need to cut back.

I bought this and returned it. For the items I liked (the Marc Jacobs and Fenty products) and the products I probably would have used a couple times before forgetting about them (the Tarte and CT eye products), $45 was really steep. I would have used the Laura Mercier powder too, but the container was so small it was hard to use. The other powder was flat out tiny. I didn’t care about the Sephora gloss. I love your reviews, though, Jessica!

Nice review but I am boycotting Sephora due to racial profiling. Following non white people around the store and asking to check their bags is appalling.

to blame & boycott an entire company on one employee making an independent decision based off of their own misguided thought process is a bit extreme. racial profiling is def not sephora’s policy. they closed down all US stores for diversity training following that employees actions. besides giving all employees lie detector tests to find out which ones hold racist views, what more can they possibly do?

Actually, it wasn’t just one employee. There was controversy several years ago when Sephora cancelled the accounts of every in China and every non-US customer with Chinese sounding names because they thought Chinese customers were buying things in bulk to resell for a profit internationally. A few might have been doing that, but to cancel the accounts of Malaysians, Australians, etc with names that seems to be Chinese is racist.

You are so glowing and gorgeous 🤩 love the variety of items and how you incorporated them for the look! The bag is super cute too. Awesome review!

Dang Jessica! Your reviews are always so great that I go out and buy all of them!

Agreed that the shade range of this is awful. How hard would it have been for them to do even three different options? And they would have gotten more folks to buy it.

Luna

You did a great job incorporating all of those products into one look! With my limited makeup skills, I would have ended up looking like a disco ball if I had tried to even use half of those products at once on my face. lol!!

Great review. The Laura Mercier is the glow powder so does that work the same as the regular
setting powder?
