I picked up the Yensa foundation. I’ve heard great things about it and I have been wanting to try it. The size is a tiny bit smaller then my NYX total control dropper foundation so hopefully it will last a few uses.

I was so close to redeeming for the Yensa foundation but then I checked the size. Its pretty small for half of my points. lol. I pulled out other tubes to find one close to 10ml.

It’s such a shame you can earn points by reviewing Ipsy Plus products, but you’re not allowed to redeem them if you skip a month of just the regular bag. I’m still paying $25 for the July Plus (along with the 3 add-ons I always get so $34), and most months I get both bags ($35) plus add-ons with both ($53 or more depending on sizes).
So they get $34 minimum from me every single month and that’s if I don’t buy any Ipsy Offers which is rare.
But just because they’re not getting the specific $10 for the July regular bag I can’t redeem my points??? That’s ridiculous.

So you skipped the regular bag for June but still got the June plus bag and can’t redeem points now? I only added the regular bag this month because I wanted the Tetris bag but was planning to skip future months indefinitely. I wonder if I’ll need to cancel the regular bag instead. I definitely want to be able to redeem points and use Ipsy shopper without having to have both bags. I had thought maybe that was just what it always said when you pause but that as long as you actually have GBP it would not stop you from using shopper.

I don’t know if it stops you from using Shopper (it didn’t used to but I’ve heard they changed the rules.)
In June I got both Plus and the regular but for July I’m just getting Plus. So when I read this post and went to spend my points, when I clicked on the item’s “redeem” button a screen came up saying I wasn’t eligible since I wasn’t getting the July bag.
But oddly enough, I just tried to redo it so I could tell you the exact wording and see if it mentioned Shopper and now it’s letting me redeem. I’m not sure what’s happening because I’ve tried to redeem points twice in the past few months and got the email confirmation but then never received it and suddenly the points were back in my account with no explanation. Until I git that message earlier today, I assumed they ran out of inventory and didn’t have the consideration to let me know. But since I often skip one bag or the other each month and got that message today, I thought maybe that was the problem. Now I don’t know what to think.
Maybe it’s just a glitch in my account or something. Sorry if I passed along info that doesn’t apply to anyone else 🤭😊

I got the Splish Splash eye shadow. Pretty happy with the points “cost” since I paid $3 for “Get Soaked” as an add-on.

Boy, they sure did get a bunch of that Yensa primer… which pills BAD if you try to put it over any kind of emollient face cream or oil.

These are the foundations! They have SPF.

Oh! Thanks! Maybe it’s the ONE foundation that primer plays well with lol

SrirachaSara

I got that primer last month I think it was. Haven’t tried it yet. So should you use it bare faced? I did just redeem for the Yensa foundation I’m interested in trying out.

Yeah I usually wear the Yensa primer bare faced and make sure to wear a more hydrating foundation on top because I have combo skin 🙂
