FYI Loot Crate has shipping issues. We only recommend subscribing to any of their boxes if you are OK with boxes showing up late. (Possibly months late.)

April 2019 'Rebuild' Fallout Crate Review

The April theme was 'Rebuild'. It comes with an information card that details the items in the box and the back features a map of the West Virginia explorable regions from Fallout 76.

Local Leader Perk Pin

Each month includes an exclusive pin featuring a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perk. Each comes in a gold or rare black variant. This month's perk is one that I always invest tons of time into while playing Fallout 4: the Local Leader Perk! This perk means my settlements get the best of the best in terms of shopping and supply lines. Even in a post-nuclear world, a girl needs options!

Terminal Phone Stand

This is the item both Will and I were the most excited about. Terminals are iconic in the Fallout universe, and finally, we own a little mini replica! This highly detailed terminal also serves as a phone stand, though I am going to admit that I would have liked it better as just a figurine, without the dent added to accommodate a phone.

Fallout 4 Broadsider Scale Replica

Fallout 4 had such a nautical feel because if it's New England seaside setting, and this was a really iconic weapon of that game for me. Made out of a naval cannon, not many heavy weapons could match she sheer damage output of the Broadsider, unless you happened to have a Fat Man on hand. Was it too heavy and did it suffer from limited range? Sure! The ammo was also nearly impossible to find or stockpile in a meaningful way. None of these totally legitimate limitations could take away from the joy of shooting a handheld aval cannon though. BOOM!

Liberty Prime Build A Figure Leg

We received the third piece of our Liberty Prime model. The emblem of Brotherhood power, I spent most of the game avoiding this menace. Can't believe I am now helping to rebuild it.

Atom Cats Fuzzy Dice

The Atom Cats are always dressed in leather jackets and always have the coolest power armor. Befriending them was an easy choice for me, especially with their amazing garage and 'Greaser' vibes. These fuzzy dice are a clever nod to them, though I wish these had been better quality.

Verdict: I usually am smitten with my Fallout Crate, but this month felt like it was missing something. I really love getting a clever shirt or another sort of wearable, and that just didn't happen this month. The pin and build piece always feel like secondary items to the main pieces, but there really wasn't a ton of major main item action this box. I absolutely love the little terminal, and the weapon replica is very well done. I just think this month needed one more awesome item to really knock my socks off.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You'll see the currently available theme on the landing page.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $39.99 ($34.99 + $5 shipping) so each of the 5 items has an average cost of $8.00

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I really want more wearable things from this sub. Also in my dreams they someday send out the smartwatch from one61.

Wow that box is light another item at least. They updated their shipping page and don’t have the little chart they had for a bit. I’m waiting on socks from February still. Will never buy from them again, and had cancelled my two accounts and lootwear over 2 years ago. Thought I’d try them again once and it’s a resounding no.

The Same in crate from February still hasn’t shipped. They keep changing the date. May box is due out but I’m sure that will be delayed. Frustrating.
