My dog literally spit out the Stewart’s freeze dried liver treats. She’s a 6 month old lab and I have never seen her spit out a treat, ever! I guess the point of a box is to see what they do and don’t like. I can cross that brand off my list!

IS this in store only?

I believe it is online only.

These are on sale for $7 now. But … Since my little guy now turns up his nose at anything other than the Sheba sticks from this box, I just ordered 10 packages of those for pick up, 30 percent off today.

I reallllly like this idea but they should make these boxes $7 since all of the other boxes are that price. Even for what you get, it should be no more then that. Alsooo, I would get both BUT they should also have different sizes for the dog box. Or if they want to have just one box they should make it for a medium sized dog. Dogs range small to large so a large dog could not get that box because it’s made for a small dog. So they should just compromise and make it for medium sized dog. Or come out with two different sizes.

I’m not criticizing, but did anyone else read that more than one time to find all the misspelled words?

Expensive but I did grab both, my dog and cat are so nosey every time I open a package so this time it will be something for them 🙂 plus I tend to get them the same food/treats all the time so nice to give a few options just to see what they may or may not like

Based on my calculation, the value of the dog box is $7.21:/

Rosette

Wow! Is this new??

I agree with the other comment about how a toy should be in it. This doesn’t reach it’s price point that well… $7 like the regular boxes would’ve been OK, but even then I think a toy or bandana or just something else would make the box better.

I guess it’s worth it if you’re trying out snacks for your pet!

Cynthia

I’d jump if the price was not so high. If a toy was in there maybe .

Reply ButtonReply

Katy

I like this concept. I wish there was at least one toy included especially for the cat box since cats are relatively close in size with only a few exceptions opposed to dogs ranging from small to large.

Does anyone know if these boxes come with coupons from the manufacturers and/or from Target? That would make the $10 price tag a little easier to swallow. Most of the items look like sample sizes.

Ally

This does come with a coupon to save $5 on a purchase of $20+.

Kristin

3 oz is normal size for temptations so a little more than 1/2 and $1.75 for full size.

I bought a dog box-my dog thinks every box is for him anyway, so he will be so delighted to discover one actually is for him!

My cat really likes getting mail. I’m not the only one with an addiction.

Juliya

Lol 😂

Totally agree…. also they should offer new items, not stuff that has been on the market for years. Easy pass for me.

Greenies is included, which is new to Target!

Reply ButtonReply

Christa

Greenies and Old Mother Hubbard at least are both new items to target. My dog hates blue buffalo and wouldn’t give rawhide so we are passing. Otherwise she really likes OMH treats

I purchased a cat one

The Sheba meat sticks are my cats absolute favorite thing in the world. They won’t stop yapping the second they see me pull it out & start to open the wrapper! Even my youngest one that rarely meows will talk for these sticks!

Lori

I wish there were more toys and wellness products like shampoo or such. My dog has dietary restrictions.

I love the idea but hoping they eventually do a healthier, higher-end version — blue buffalo is great, but I wouldn’t want to feed my cat Temptations or Friskies treats because of all the byproducts and grains in there — the first few ingredients for the Temptations, for example, are Chicken By-Product Meal, Ground Corn, Animal Fat (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Rice, Dried Meat by-Products, and Wheat Flour. A toy would also be a nice addition. I’m not complaining, per se, just casting a vote for a different type of product. Luckily I have my meowbox subscription, which I love. 🙂

This seems like a great idea for someone who has one cat! I have nine, so I’ll pass.

Maybe Jessica can review (with dictation from Duchess).

Lindsey

Super excited about the concept but value is only $6.64 :/

Dear MSA, when you have spoilers like this and sizes are available (I went to Target website and I was able to see the sizes), would you be able to price each item and total the value? I think it will help us to decide if we see a value? It will be very helpful in the future. It looks like readers are calculating the value in the comment. Thank you!

Marie

Where did you see the sizes? I cant find them.

Reply ButtonReply

Eileen

If you enlarge the picture on Target’s site, you can see the amounts.

Nina

This is great! If the sizes aren’t super teensy this is well worth the $10. Pet stuff is soooo expensive. I have 4 dogs though, would be hard to split that peanut butter bone in 4 pieces 😂

Cindy

Was thinking of getting a box for a friend’s dog but $10 seems overpriced.

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

Agree you can get a lot of stuff as free samples too.

Reply ButtonReply

disneyjoy1970

What an awesome idea! I’m getting one of the cat boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

It’s cool that they’re doing this, but $10 seems overpriced for this. I’d be curious to see this reviewed though and if it’s worth it.

Just Anne just uploaded an unboxing of both the cat and dog box, if you want to see
