This month we received a small note thanking us for our purchase and explaining the Welsh tradition of a Lovespoon. We even got a small lovespoon of our very own!

And finally, we got a small pop-up thank you note that I find incredibly charming.
Sea Mist Soy Candle, 8.5 oz – Retail Value $36
I am loving the light, refreshing scent of this sea mist candle. With scent notes of orange blossoms, jasmine, and musk, it is a great spring fragrance that is noticeable without being overpowering. This is large enough for the throw to fill my kitchen or living room, and the candle is made with 100% US-grown soy wax and a cotton eco-wick that burns evenly.
Hawaiian Breeze Soy Candle, 8.5 oz – Retail Value $36
This is the perfect complement to the sea mist candle - I have enjoyed both burning this on its own along with burning it next to sea mist and both ways it smells incredible. This has scent notes of vanilla, sandalwood, tuberose, orchid, and awapuhi (also known as bitter ginger), and I would describe it as a light and airy fragrance rather than one that is assertive. Even though it is lighter, though, it can still fill my living room. This will burn for about 50 hours and the glass it is housed in is made of 50% recycled materials.
Coffee Bean Travel Tin Candle, 2 oz – Retail Value $10
This smells just like freshly ground coffee beans, and while I never got into drinking coffee I have always loved the smell. Honestly, I don’t get nearly enough coffee-scented candles in my life. Even though this little guy is small, he is the perfect size to fill my kitchen with the delicious coffee aroma.
The Verdict: All three candle scents this month smelled amazing - this Lovespoon Candles box was a winner! I did notice that the subscription format for this has changed - you can now sign up for a $55 month-to-month subscription, and shipping is free! You can’t deny that this box has great packaging and a lovely unboxing experience, and I appreciate that the candles are high quality and burn clean. I was happy with the scent throw these candles put out, and they would also make a lovely gift if one scent isn’t your style—just slap a bow on the box and make your friends day! Value wise, this box has a value of $82.
