Dia & Co. is a monthly plus size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 20% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co. may be entirely different than mine!

Here is that adorable Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month!

Dia & Co Subscription Box Review March 2019 - Message Inside Top

Also enclosed is this darling message from this month’s stylist, Sydney. She really paid great attention to what I pinned on the Dia & Co site! Did you know you can select up to THREE PIECES for yourself and let your stylist pick the rest now? Such an awesome option, but you can also pin pieces you like on the Dia & Co page to give your stylist an idea of what you like. Sydney also referenced my Pinterest which I truly appreciate!

Dia & Co Subscription Box Review March 2019 - Invoice Top

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off ( if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren’t listed, but the total would be $334.50. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $235.88! The savings would be $98.62 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That would be like getting the Donna Morgan shirt dress for free! What a deal!

Spring is here and this dress will be screaming it from the rooftops! Sydney remarked how she sent this piece due to the retro pattern and I can see why. In my college years, I was obsessed with cherries. I literally had earrings, hairpins, purses, tops, dresses, wallets, etc covered in cherry designs. You name it, I had it! This dress has a very Americana/Pin Up vibe that harkens back to that era in my life for sure! I know I will be wearing this at the office or any picnic I am invited to. I paired the dress with my favorite mustard mules, but I can see wearing this with an adorable red open toe platform and a cute sun hat in warmer weather. The material has a bit of stretch, but the cut is incredibly complementary to a variety of bodies which is why this is such a beautiful piece!

What a great, lightweight jacket for the springtime! I was not into the cobalt blue initially and typically select jackets with a collar, but this bomber style is growing on me. The fabric is a great lightweight material making it an ideal transition piece from spring to summer. It looks so gorgeous paired with the denim dress Sydney sent me. I styled it with my mustard mules again because it makes the retro flower print pop! I can envision wearing this with a black and white striped t-shirt dress and KEDS for a casual, yet super cute warm weather outfit!

Guys, this by far is my favorite piece Sydney sent me! It is so dreamy! I have a denim dress I reviewed by Rebel Wilson X Angel for Trunk Club almost a year ago, but one can never have too many denim dresses as far as I am concerned. Plus, this one is very different from the Rebel Wilson dress I own. It has a sweetheart neckline style and adorable pocket detail. The white stitching makes it stand out along with the front zipper detail. This piece has incredible stretch as well and is super comfortable. I also like that it is shorter, it gives it a real va-va voom quality that I am for! I could wear this with a top underneath for layering at work or just by itself for a killer date look! I want my boyfriend to take me to a summer carnival in this number! I am ready!

I hate to say, but this might be my least favorite item in this month’s selections. The shirt itself is super soft and well made, especially for a t-shirt. It has a nice stretch and fits the body well. The print is not my favorite. I love hearts, but I am just not super keen on the design. That being said, I did like it a bit more after styling it with the awesome black jeans my stylist selected for me along with a red faux leather biker jacket and my go-to white studded mules. This is a casual outfit with a little edge, which is me all the way! Wear this top with a black mini skirt, your favorite jean jacket, and some low top Chuck Taylors for a comfortable, yet romantic look on a spring evening.

Garnet Skinny Jeans by Garnet, Size 22 - Retail Value $69.50

These jeans are amazing! If you follow my reviews, you know that skinny jeans are my pants of choice. I am not keen on wide legs, they give me a lack of definition and make my 5’6 frame (technically 5’5 and ½… but we round up, am I right?) look shorter than needed! Skinny leg jeans with a high waist make me foxy, so I hope they never go away! These pants have a great stretch and are so easy to wear. I can wear these to work and to see a show at my favorite watering hole after if I like! The versatility and quality of these jeans make the $69.50 price tag immensely reasonable. Wear these with your favorite t-shirt or in warmer weather with a sleeveless mock turtleneck tank and heels.

Verdict: This month’s Dia & Co was a nice departure from office appropriate wear to some casual, fun items. My favorite piece by far was the denim dress by Dex Plus! I am in love! It is a piece I will be able to wear in a variety of ways, plus it is the perfect level of cute meets sexy. The Kensie jeans and Donna Morgan dress are my next favorite pieces selected for me. The cherry print dress is one I will get a lot of wear from in the spring and summer months as well. Just make sure to invite me to your next summer block party, I will bring a cherry pie in this number! I must say, I truly appreciate how Dia & Co have improved the options on feedback through their site. Allowing their customers to select three pieces to be sent to them is absolutely genius! I love the element of surprise, but I also like being able to pick a few of my dream pieces out as well! It is a great option that I encourage all subscribers to take advantage of! I also greatly value my stylist, Sydney, taking the time out to read my feedback and check out my Pinterest and Instagram to truly tailor the box to me! I am very pleased with the Dia & Co experience and I think you guys will be too!

I tried them this month and ended up keeping everything in the box. I don’t think my stylist even read my notes, though. No mention of anything from my notes in my letter and only one thing I said I liked/wanted to see in my box. I gave them a lot to go off of. Although they didn’t listen to me they did get lucky and find things that I never would have chosen but were just extremely flattering on my body. I also didn’t like that the brands and clothing were created by the box itself so I felt some of the items were overpriced because they are unknown brands and they literally had no reason to price an unknown brand of Jeans at $60. That being said I did really like them at at 25% off I did buy them. But I hope they make price adjustments going forward.

Rachael, it is sometimes nice to get pieces you. ever would expect to like, but I get what you mean. I do like that they have inhouse brands, though! They are all nicely designed pieces. I especially like the East Adeline brand. I also love that they have worked with brands like Nanette Lapore and Betsey Johnson! I really am hoping to try a Betsey piece next month!

I honestly kept going with my Dia and am in my third box. I created a pinterest and found the catalog so I added a bunch of pinned items to my closet. She has a pretty good idea of what I like now and I have sent a million hints. They did send lots of pinned items. I did fall in love with quite a few catalog items and I was told they aren’t actually available so that’s disappointing, but I hope to get some Jessica Simpson embroidered jeans and maybe rebel Wilson items soon. But I am loving Meri Skye and the Molly and Isadora denim, especially their jean shorts.

Love your reviews and your style! I had to find myself a pair of those white studded mules – so cute!

Awwwwwe thank you, Connie! Those mules are my fave. I waited a few months for them to go on sale at Target. I regret not buying multiple pairs! What was I thinking?! Haha.

I love how you rock that denim dress; I could never have confidence enough. You look amazing in all these outfits, but the graphic t/skinny jeans with the moto jacket is FIRE, girl. Your sassiness sold me on a subscription several months ago, and it really sells these clothes. I aspire to be as fashionable as you!

Awwwwe, Jenn! I sense you could rock the dress as well! I am glad you signed up for the box too! It is a fun one and I love all the developments Dia & Co has made on their site!

I want that denim dress! I am seriously considering trying Dia&co after reading this. I just peeked at my latest stitchfix and my stylist is unfortunately off the rails again, both with price and style.

Oh no about your stitch fix! Definitely give them loads of feedback and if you have IG or Pinterest, resend them that link! Also, you can directly request this dress on the Dia & Co site. Also can reference this review to your stylist too! Thank you again, Katie!
