BuddhiBox has had a subscription box for yoga and meditation for years, but they launched BuddhiBox Essential Oils, a monthly aromatherapy/meditation subscription. Every month, subscribers receive various essential oils and crystals that support a specific guided meditation, which is also included.

BuddhiBox also offers a monthly Yoga Box and quarterly Jewelry Box options. Check out our reviews of those boxes here!

This is a review of the BuddhiBox Essential Oils box, which is $16.95 a month.

May 2019 BuddhiBox Essential Oils Box Review

Buddhi Box Oils May 2019 yoga subscription box review info card Buddhi Box Oils May 2019 yoga subscription box review product list

BuddhiBox always includes a card with a mantra or saying on it. On the reverse is this month's packing list. Most of the products they include are cruelty-free, organic, vegan, or more than one!

The Dreaming Yogi Meditation Access — Listed Retail Value $10.00

Included this month is a small card with a link to meditation led by Meli, the Dreaming Yogi. The mediation is just over 9 minutes long, so it is short enough to fit into your day but long enough to be meaningful. The theme is "Connecting to Your Devine Feminine."

Green Tree Mother Earth Oil, 10 ml - Retail Value $7.65

Buddhibox has been really sending some fantastic blends recently. This one hails from the Netherlands and is a dreamy blend of greens, petals, wet leaves, and forest. Meant to replicate the scent of the very popular "Mother Earth" incense, this is a fantastic option for your diffuser.

Pair of Quartz Crystal Mini Wands — Listed Value $10.00

These have a wee bit of listed value inflation happening, as both of these crystals are quite small, around 1.5 inches long. They are really lovely little points though, and beautiful to hold and admire. Quartz is a healing and amplifying stone, so hang tight to them when you aren't feeling well, or when you need to magnify the effects of other crystals in your life.

Fair Trade Handmade Headband - Listed Value $15.00

This delicate crochet headband is perfect for tucking those baby hairs back while out in the garden or at yoga class. This also works well for when you are masking! These headbands are made by artisans in India who are paid fair wages and work in safe conditions, so you can feel good and look good too.

Scented Votive Candle by The Crystal Crow - Listed Value $12.oo

Again, I feel like the value is inflated here because you can buy much larger candles from this seller for less. Aside from that, this candle was really lovely! It had a feminine, floral scent and burned brightly and evenly. It is also worth noting that it is 100% vegan.

The Verdict: BuddhiBox Essential Oil Box was thoughtfully curated and full of nice items this month. The oil smells like my idea of heaven and I can't wait to relax tonight and diffuse some in my bedroom. The candle was also very pretty and I loved it even more for its lovely scent. I don't have any headbands in my rotation that are this cute! And, of course, I am always happy to add more crystals to my desk. Values were hard to come by this month but I personally feel like the value of the items was decent for the $16.95 box price.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the June box. Order by the 8th of the month to receive that month's box.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $16.95 + free shipping, which means that each of the 4 items in the box (minus the meditation) has an average cost of $4.24.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

This appears to be a box I can like with a lower price. I went back and looked as some previous boxes and I was more impressed with them than this one. At least I know where I can come to get the name of a stone!!
