Bezel Box Cosmo May 2019 Review
The styling card for this month’s box featured a “Cosmo” inspired look, including a black and white geometric blouse, strappy, thick-heeled sandals, and skinny black dress pants. Since the goal of the “Cosmopolitan” aesthetic is to look both classy and glamorous, I think the mostly solid black ensemble perfectly complements the bolder, shinier elements of the jewelry.
Gem Necklace
This blue-green gem necklace is stunning!! I received a similar piece a couple of months ago, but the aquatic color tones for this one are perfect for the spring/summer seasons! The various shimmering blues, greens, and purples together create a glam, yet natural, “aquamarine” vibe. Whether you want to give a pop of color to your professional wardrobe or want to add some extra flair to a beachy sundress, this necklace makes a great statement piece for any occasion!
Gem Earrings
The matching blue-green gem earrings catch the light beautifully, and can add some extra sparkle to your smile! They, of course, go great with the necklace, but can also be worn as complementary statement pieces on their own.
Gold Link Bracelet
This golden bracelet works as a great versatile piece that can be worn with anything—its shiny flair and chainmail-esque design are sure to create a commanding and confident look no matter what you wear!
Gem Stud Earrings
These solid black gem earrings add a subtle, yet glamorous look to whatever they’re paired with. Their neutral tone and simple design give them endless styling possibilities.
Similar to the outfit suggestion from the styling card, I paired the blue-green gem necklace/earring set with a simple, scoop-neck black crop top, along with some berry purple lipstick to complement the violet tones in the gems.
I decided to add some glam to a more casual look by pairing the black gem earrings and gold chain bracelet with a simple gray and white oversized sweater, and a pop of classic red lipstick to complete the casually classy aesthetic.
The Verdict: I’m very pleased with all of these pieces! I normally subscribe to the Bezel Box Mini so receiving the extra bracelet and pair of earrings in the Cosmo box was a lovely surprise! I love that I got some stylish statement pieces, as well as a couple of neutral classics—all of which can easily be mixed and interchanged with one another! This month’s box truly had it all!
