Ulta Pamper Yourself Bath & Body Must-Haves Kit Review
Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Oil Foot Repair Balm, 1.7 oz - Estimated Value $2.55 (Buy the full-Size version for $9)
My feet are a neglected part of my body care routine, and I am trying to change that. I have been applying this to my feet whenever I am going to put on socks, and I love how refreshing this is thanks to the tea tree and peppermint oil. Plus, when I take my socks off my feet are noticeably softer!
Fizz and Bubble Watermelon Lip Scrub, 0.5 oz - Estimated Value $4 (Buy the 1 oz version for $8)
This tastes just like watermelon Hubba Bubba bubblegum and I am HERE. FOR. IT. This is a drier scrub that exfoliates effectively without being too abrasive, and it is delicious. Plus, the price isn’t bad for the big full-size version, either.
Hempz Blueberry Lavender & Chamomile Herbal Body Moisturizer, 2.25 oz - Estimated Value $3.71 (Buy the full-Size version for $28)
I am in love with both how lightweight this lotion is and how soft and soothing the scent of blueberry, lavender, and chamomile is. This is nourishing without leaving my legs feeling greasy, which is important now that it is getting hotter and Baton Rouge is consistently between 70-80% humidity. If I didn’t have a backlog of lotions and body creams to work my way through, I would buy the full-size version of this.
SheaMoisture African Black Soap Bar Soap, 3.5 oz - Estimated Value $2.62 (Buy the full-size bar for $5.99)
This soap has become pretty popular over the past few years, but this was my first time trying it. I used it on my body on some spots that acne likes to pop up, and I was happy that this didn’t leave my skin feeling tight.
Bliss Makeup Melt Jelly Cleanser, 2.0 oz - Estimated Value $3.75 (Buy the full-size version for $12, found here for $9)
I am a fan of bliss skincare for their fun products and affordability, and I like this cleanser. It was super gentle and it left my face feeling clean but not dried out. My favorite part is that this can be used as a makeup remover too- if you apply it to dry skin it can remove your makeup + cleanse, and if you’re not wearing makeup just apply it to a wet face. I love products that multi-task!
Pacifica Himalayan Patchouli Berry Hair & Body Mist, 2.0 oz - Estimated Value $4 (buy the 6 oz version for $12)
I don’t usually use hair mists, but this is definitely going into my routine until the sample is gone. The scent is a delicious blend of grapefruit, white patchouli, sugar, and geranium, and it was inspired by the Festival of Colors in Nepal. The scent is light and not overpowering, and I think it adds a nice flirty touch without being an aggressive fragrance.
The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter, 1.69 oz - Retail Value $6
If you like rich body butters that smell just like coconut, this is for you. I enjoy smelling like coconut, but this is definitely a heavy-duty body butter that I'll probably only apply at night- heavy body lotions and humidity leave me feeling sticky.
Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar, 2 fizzy squares - Estimated Value $1.99 (Buy the bar of 8 fizzy squares for $7.95, found here for $3.98)
I am always excited to try a new bath bomb, but these were kind of a letdown. They didn’t fizz that much, and I didn’t really notice a scent either.
Tree Hut Bare Moisturizing Shave Oil, 2.0 oz - Estimated Value $3.11 (buy the 7.7 oz version for $11.99)
I have tried shaving creams and shaving soaps but trying out a shaving oil was a first for me. I liked how silky this left my legs feeling, and it helped me to get a super close shave.
Lanolips 101 Ointment Coconutter Mult-Balm, 0.11 oz - Estimated Value $4.24 (Buy the full-size version for $13.50)
My first experience with Lanolips was with this Feel Unique box, and I am excited to try out a different flavor. This is super nourishing, tastes like coconut, and using this after the watermelon scrub was a real treat for my lips that left them soft and happy.
The Verdict: I thought this was a knockout box from Ulta considering the wide variety of items and the low price! Most of these products were new to me, and I enjoyed finding some affordable products that are also high quality. The next time I am in my local Ulta, I plan on trying to grab a backup! Value-wise, I calculated a value of $35.97, which meets the $35 promised value.
