Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service for women, men, and kids. When you initially sign up, you take an in-depth survey that asks you about your clothing size, personal style, and price preferences. Your stylist handpicks five items based on your preferences within the survey. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping as well as free returns. If you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!
My items are reflective of my style and price preferences so your Stitch Fix may be completely different.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Our Review
This is the invoice that was included. It shows in detail the items selected for me and the brands, sizes, and cost of each piece. The total comes up to $215.12 after all the discounts if I opt to keep everything—which is a $98.38 total savings! That is almost like getting the YSJeans for free!
As always, this handy sheet with a sweet note from my stylist, Candace, was included. I always appreciate the styling tips: they are so useful and inspiring! Candace consistently references my Pinterest for inspiration on pieces to select for me. She offered some fun pieces for comfort and style this month!
Caley Open Kimono by Emory Park Size 2x—Retail Value $34
I am a fan of retro caftans and kimonos. This floral kimono feels like it could have come straight from the 70s. The fabric is incredibly lightweight and ideal for spring and summer weather! I styled this with a tank, the YSJeans that Candace selected for me, and flats. I also envision wearing this poolside with a bikini and cat eyes on, but that could also be because I am pictured in the snow and desperately want summer here like yesterday! Bring it!
Garrett Grommet Detail Skinny Jean by YSJeans Size 22W—Retail Value $99.50
These jeans might be my least favorite of the items Candace sent me. Aside from the straight, skinny leg cut, I don’t feel these are necessarily my style. The fit was a wee bit snug on me, but the pants have ample stretch so I sense they will loosen and fit better the more I move. The circle grommet detail is interesting, but not my cup of tea. It may not be my style, but it may be someone else reading’s style! I imagine these jeans being paired with a band shirt (I am thinking an old KISS shirt myself!) and Chuck Taylor sneakers.
Alycia Wrap Blouse by City Chic Size 18W—Retail Value $68
My stylist, Candace, knows my intense love for all that is retro and vintage inspired. That being said, it comes as no surprise to me that she included this City Chic blouse, The bell sleeves and pattern make me think of the late 60s/early 70s. I love the color palette of corals, burgundies, reds, and olive greens--- so stunning! I styled the top with the jeans Candace sent me, but I would pair this top with a plain jean, bone colored cowboy boots, a large brimmed hat, and oversized, round, caramel sunglasses.
Chantell Faux Wrap Jersey Knit Dress by Julie Dillon Size 20W—Retail Value $78
Speaking of retro pieces, here is another fantastic choice from Candace! This dress is far and away my favorite piece selected for me this month. Wrap style dresses flatter all figures whether you are a size 2 or 22. The mustard geometrical print captured my attention immediately—this is gorgeous! I can’t get over how wonderful it looks on as well! This dress has a perfect cut and style, but the fabric has ample stretch. I also love that this is a faux wrap—actual wrap dresses can be complicated to get on at instances! This is an easy dress to wear; it is immensely comfortable! Wear this traveling, on a date, or at the office - all eyes will be on you wherever you go!
Covington Statement Necklace by Bay to Baubles—Retail Value $34
Finally, we have this gorgeous burnt gold statement necklace! I love the touch of glitz with the rhinestone and faux opal details. I usually don’t purchase necklaces these days since I wear the same one all the time, but this could be the one to make me change my mind! What a stunner that will add glitz to even your most casual ensemble. I styled this with the wrap dress, but I can see pairing this number with a t-shirt and jeans to amp an otherwise easygoing ensemble!
The Verdict: This month’s Stitch Fix certainly had some highs and lows. The jeans Candace selected me felt out of place and didn’t feel like they were selected with me in mind. On the other hand, Jullie Dillon faux wrap dress and the City Chic blouse felt like there made just for me! I truly appreciate my stylist, Candace, for always referencing my social media and Pinterest to find inspiration each month. It makes me feel heard. The app is also handy because it has a feature on it where you can thumbs up or thumbs down pieces to let your stylist know your preferences. I usually will do the outfit ratings on downtime at my other job, it is so easy! I also can’t recommend enough to give feedback after every Fix—it is key to getting a box of dreamy pieces to complete your wardrobe!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Stitch Fix curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $313.50. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $215.12 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s roughly a 31% discount!
