Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service for women, men, and kids. When you initially sign up, you take an in-depth survey that asks you about your clothing size, personal style, and price preferences. Your stylist handpicks five items based on your preferences within the survey. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping as well as free returns. If you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!
My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different.

Our Review
This is the invoice that was included. It shows in detail the items selected for me and the brands, sizes, and cost of each piece. The total comes up to $237.25 after all the discounts if I opt to keep everything—which is a $105.75 total savings! That is like getting the Eloquii or City Chic dress for free plus partial cost of the earrings!
As always, this handy sheet with a sweet note from my stylist, Candace, was included. I always appreciate the styling tips: they are so useful and inspiring! Candace consistently references my Pinterest for inspiration on pieces to select for me. She offered some fun pieces for comfort and style this month!
Cordy Shirt Dress by City Chic, Size 20W - Retail Value $89
My stylist, Candace, understands my love for leopard print and sent me this fantastic City Chic dress. The beauty of this piece is the fabric is rather light and airy, so you can wear it all year long. During chillier temperatures, you can easily layer it with a sweater, tights, and boots. In the summer, this can be worn with cute black wedges and cat-eye sunglasses for a sassy, stylish ensemble. The cut of the dress is roomier and a bit boxy. If you want further definition you can always wear a belt at your waist. I wore it sans a belt with black tights and my off white winter boots for a comfortable, yet adorable look perfect for errands or a catch up with friends at the local watering hole.
Nali Lace Bodysuit Top by Honey Punch, Size 2x—Retail Value $44
I love lace materials, but I prefer the designs that are more geometric and stray away from the traditional floral styles we so often see. The pattern in this lace has a retro bohemian feel. The bodysuit is comfortable and though I paired it with the pants that Candace sent my way, I can picture wearing this with a paisley skater skirt and knee high lace up boots for a 60s inspired ensemble. This would pair well with black dress pants and a blazer for the workplace too! Such a versatile piece that can easily become a staple in one’s wardrobe for sure!
Karen Straight Leg Printed Pants by Erica Taylor Size 2x—Retail Value $88
Truth be told, I generally do not gravitate towards pinks and purples, but I try to be open-minded. I also prefer a higher rise pants than these offer. I don’t dislike the pants, but if I saw them in a store I would not toss them in my pile to try on in the fitting room either. I do, however, like the stretch of the pants’ fabric. These would be ideal for the workplace: I envision pairing these pants with a lilac pussy-bow blouse and a black blazer.
Selene Striped Knit Dress by Eloquii Size 20w—Retail Value $99.95 (Cost to keep: $88)
Eloquii is one of my favorite plus size brands out there. The styles generally have unique color schemes, patterns, and fabric selections. They also often have items that have a vintage meets modern vibe that I especially love. In addition, the pieces are incredibly well made and durable. I love all the Eloquii pieces I own and rave about them any chance I get. Funny thing is, I actually already own this dress! I got it in care of LA Retro Girl and it is a dress I never cease to get compliments on! The fabric is thick with ample stretch. This is wonderful for fall, winter, and early spring. The colors are vivid and absolutely stunning. I especially love the aqua shade against that bright red. I styled these with white studded mules, but I often pair this dress with red shoes and black tights in colder months. This dress is perfect for the workplace, but one could also wear it on a casual date night or a Sunday fun day! I can’t recommend enough that you ask your Stitch Fix stylist to send this dress your way!
Pyramid Drop Earrings by 8 Other Reasons—Retail Value $34
These earrings resemble golden Ginkgo Biloba leaves for some reason. These are gorgeous, yet easy to wear due to the lightweight metal these earrings are made from. I also love the texture on these; it elevates what may be a basic piece otherwise. I styled these beauties with the leopard City Chic dress my stylist sent my way.
Verdict: This month had some lovely selections! My favorite, obviously, was the leopard print City Chic dress. That is a given, but I also loved the lace bodysuit due to its versatility: you can get so many outfits from that item alone! I appreciate my stylist, Candace, for always referencing my social media and Pinterest to find inspiration each month. The app is also handy because it has a feature on it where you can thumbs up or thumbs down pieces to let your stylist know your preferences.
