Pusheen Box Spring 2019 "Out of Office" Review

Each box includes an info card that lists the contents. This season they've included nine items with the theme "Out of Office"!

Roller Skating Pusheen Vinyl Figure

Every box comes with a seasonal Pusheen vinyl figure that's super collectible. Since Spring is here and the weather's getting better, our girl put on a backward baseball cap and is out rollerskating in her pink skates! The figure is 4-inches wide so it's perfect for a fun desk friend or to set on a shelf with your other Pusheen figures!

Pusheen jump rope in package Pusheen jump rope close up of Pusheen jump rope

Pusheen Jump Rope

What's a great way to blow off steam and manage stress outside the office? Working out! This pink vinyl jump rope is a little over 8 feet long and features Pusheen atop each hollow plastic pink handle. If you're looking to get your heart rate up, jumping rope is a rather simple way to get that done quickly and Pusheen will help cheer you on!

Pusheen Yoga Mat Towel rolled up Pusheen Yoga Mat Towel close up of Pusheen Yoga Mat Towel

Pusheen Yoga Mat Towel

This would have been great to have a couple of weeks ago when I was at an out of town yoga class sans mat. Ideally, this would be placed over a mat to help soak up any sweat that drips while doing down dogs and cat poses in hot yoga. This will help keep your mat cleaner and not so slippery as well. The design features Pusheen doing all sorts of leisure activities from badminton to skateboarding to rollerskating, to simply napping (my favorite pastime) against a pink background. This towel isn't the thickest but feels a lot like other sports towels I've come across so it seems like it'd do a good job absorbing moisture.

Pusheen Water-Resistant Windbreaker

Oh my gosh! I love love love this item! This lightweight nylon jacket is perfect for the mild Spring weather and will protect you from a light rain shower that may come out of nowhere. It's a bit oversized in fit since the medium is baggy on me, but I kinda like it. It has a large hood with drawstrings so you can cinch it tight and a drawstring at the waist to make it fit a little better as well. It also has two side pockets to stow keys when out for a brisk walk. The graphic on the front has Pusheen sporting some pink sunnies with the box's theme "Out of Office" across the chest. Too cute and great for Springtime layering!

Pusheen Sport Crew Socks

These are some of the nicest socks I've received in a subscription box! They're ultra soft and quite padded on the bottom for ultimate comfort and absorption. I used to play in a kickball league years ago and would always get socks like this to match whatever color shirts my team ended up getting. These soft pink ones would have been great to elevate my outfit! The cushy pink body has a white stripe across each toe, two stripes at the top of each cuff and a thin white Pusheen outline on both sides. Once again, she's there to cheer you on while you get outside and get moving!

Pusheen Fanny Pack

I forgot to model this the way the kids are wearing them these days- over the shoulder. Ah well- I'm old school and will simply wear it around my waist as originally intended. This blue mesh pack has an embroidered Pusheen on the front that matches the roller skating vinyl figure, complete with backward cap. There are two bright pink zippers: one on the top that allows you to put all your important items into the pack, and one at the front for something slimmer like cash or an ID. Packs like this are the best to use at amusement parks where you may not want to lug around a huge bag (plus you can keep them on while riding roller coasters) or for large events like outdoor concerts where you want your valuables close and not weighing you down. A light pink adjustable nylon strap with plastic fastener makes sure it stays on tightly.

Pusheen Cloud Key Holder in package Pusheen Cloud Key Holder- back of package Pusheen Cloud Key Holder back of Pusheen Cloud Key Holder Pusheen Cloud Key Holder with keys

Pusheen Magnetic Key Holder

How funny! I have a cloud key holder just like this at home in my entryway- just sans Pusheen. This plastic holder mounts to a wall (no hardware included, sadly) and a strong magnet at the bottom will hold onto any metal piece (like a keyring) to keep your keys in a safe spot so you always know where they are. I have mine mounted right inside my front door, so I'm tempted to use this cuter Pusheen version in my office at work! She's popping out of the white fluffy cloud to remind you not to leave without those keys!

Pusheen Wood Block Calendar in package Pusheen Wood Block Calendar parts of Pusheen Wood Block Calendar back of Pusheen Wood Block Calendar close up of Pusheen Wood Block Calendar

Pusheen Wood Block Calendar

I've always had something against perpetual calendars like this. I will often exclaim "Calendars are supposed to tell ME what day it is, not the other way around!" but this one is just so adorable it's hard to be mad at it. The whole thing is made of wood- the base is Pusheen-grey and there are three longer pink blocks that have a month painted on each side. The two larger wooden blocks are white with numbers painted on them in blue to create the day of the month in whatever combination is needed. If you need to add some cuteness to your workspace, look no further.

Pushing in hoody plush back of Pushing in hoody plush close up of Pushing in hoody plush

Pusheen Plush with Matching Jacket

Well now- THIS is just TOO MUCH. The final item of the Spring box is a ridiculously soft plush of Pusheen wearing a matching blue jacket to the one included. It even has a little hood you can pull up over her head! I'm glad it's weighted at the bottom so she doesn't topple over wherever you set her. I love her!!

Verdict: The Spring Pusheen Box was filled to the brim with cuteness and, as always, includes actual useful items for people of all ages. The jacket has got to be my favorite item with the plush, socks, and key holder also at the top of the list. I can't deny how handy that fanny pack will come in the summer either, so this is reaally quite a fun and cute box!

This is probably the worst pusheen box I’ve ever received. Items look and feel super cheap (especially the jump rope). The one thing I was looking forward was the fanny pack simply because I needed one, BUT the belt is waaay too big even on the tightest adjustment – I can fit another half a person in there. The socks look cute, but they’re 95% polyester (yay sweaty feet) and I don’t wear synthetic fabrics. My figurine and key holder have some paint-job flaws. I don’t do yoga but probably I can use the towel for vacations (would prefer cotton towel, again yikes for synthetics). The windbreaker is too big (one size DOESN’T fit all) and I don’t work in the office so can’t relate. This box was a huge disappointment and I’m mad at myself about renewing my annual subscription.

I caved and purchased this box after a short hiatus! They gave me a 25% off special if I re subbed. So at 25% off, I was hooked! The Jacket, socks and the yoga towel did it for me. I’ll have no problem finding new homes for the collector figurine, calendar, Skip rope and box. On the fence about the key hook and plushie. Since I’m only paying less than $5 per item, I think this is a great value!

So SAD! I love Pusheen! It’s adorable and offers fun, practical items like soap dispensers, bedding, robes. But this was the worst box yet! The items were disappointing and cheap. A magnetic key holder that doesn’t work! A jump rope? The plastic jacket could be useful. The pink socks are soft and well made BUT you can’t see Pusheen on them so what’s the point?! I’m so disappointed!! I may have to cancel!

Cannot believe that I was too tired to open the box last night. This morning, I could not help but just smile over and over again with every single item. This is the most adorable subscription that I think exists. It is love and sweet kitty shenanigans in a box.

I have been a subscriber since box #2. Beware that the shipping/billing schedule changes all the time. My credit card for this box was charged Feb 12,and at the time the delivery of the box was supposed to be March 15. Well obviously they are late, and that is when they changed the schedule, it when I looked mid March, I already knew my cc was charged, and this is past April 15, still no box, no shipping notice.

I almost caved…but it’s just too expensive (I’m in Canada). Now, if the jacket motif was ‘So lazy can’t move’…I’d have no choice, I’d have to bite. I do LOVE this box.
