My Paper Box April 2019 Review

My Paper Box Review April 2019 - Greet Card Front TopMy Paper Box Review April 2019 - Greet Card Back Top

As soon as I opened my box, I was presented with this card that indicated this box was made just for me (and I truly believe it was - I mean, my name is EVERYWHERE!!) The flip side also had my name, of course, and listed out some significant days in April. I don’t know if I can get away with wearing my pajamas to work on the 16th though….

My Paper Box Review April 2019 - Stickers Top

I also got oodles of stickers; a lot of them centered around Earth Day (April 22nd) and a couple of them for Easter.

Personalized Easter Cards

I subscribe to a lot of card subscriptions, I love them and love the opportunity to have them on hand when I need them so I was excited to see a couple in this subscription too.

These cards are cute, featuring mustached bunnies with glasses and a bow tie. The inside is blank for a personalized message and the back says “Made with love by Carol.” Cute! Each card is paired with an A-style envelope. I can use the bunny stickers I received to seal these up for perfect Easter cards.

Personalized Address Book

This was super cute! It has enough space for 20 friends and acquaintances address, email, phone number, birthday and even a notes section. I appreciate that it isn’t overly big so that it fits perfectly into my card holder for easy reference when I send out greeting cards. This was something I never realized I needed but will make things so much easier when writing and mailing cards. I also really like the pastel colors!

Daily Horoscope Journal

When I saw this little journal, I just loved the color of it; its such a pretty pink to turquoise ombre! Every page has a horoscope in the top right corner and has lined pages behind. This is a good journal to keep in my purse (and is small enough, too!) to just write down thoughts for the day. This wasn’t personalized, but that’s okay, it is perfect as it is.

Personalized Earth Day Notepad

Adorable. I love the little Earth man down below with his message to recycle. I am a strong believer in you can never have too many notepads and this one is perfect for work! I can leave messages on co-workers’ desk without even having to sign! This pad has 20 pages.

Personalized Note Pad

This one is cute. I like the shape, it is perfect for to-do lists. I also like the simple black dots along the border. This pad has about 25 pages and is another great addition for my desk at work.

Personalized Earth Day Card

I love this card for many, many reasons! First, that little Earth guy is super adorable and I am happy to see he made an appearance in another piece in my box. I love the envelope it is paired with: it’s a shimmery ivory a-style envelope. These are my favorite kind of envelopes (aside from the self-sealing kind). I think they are just so pretty! It also is printed with a greeting AND my signature. Winning! The only problem I have is I have no earthly idea who I will send this to (see what I did there?) My husband? I may just keep it because it is witty and totally adorable.

Happy Birthday Card

This birthday card really fits into this box with the colors. Again, it has a cute, witty message and is just missing my signature. The thing that stood out the most with this card was the envelope it is paired with. I haven’t totally decided if I like it because when I think of all the reason’s I do like it, I think of all the reasons I don’t. I think the pink translucent envelope is pretty, and the card looks really good inside of it, but it’s the kind of card that cannot be mailed and should be with a gift or handed to the intended person directly. With this type of message, the only person I can think of that is worthy of this card and message is my dear, old friend from elementary school but she lives 2 ½ hours away. Sigh. I have time to figure it out, though, since her birthday is in October.

Calendar and Monthly Goal Stand

The final item in My Paper Box is this calendar and monthly goal stand. One side has a section for 3 goals I should list out that I will accomplish this month while the reverse is an April calendar with Earth Day and Easter marked with our adorable mascots. It was easy to fold and stand up and displays perfectly on my desk or dresser.

Verdict: From the moment I opened my mailbox, I was presented with this adorable package featuring my name. I admit, it was a bit tricky opening the box since it is a sticker-wrap that went around the whole box, but once I got it and was able to open it, I was able to really see all the personalized items made just for me. The price point may seem a little high but when I consider all the time and effort into making all the personalized items, I really can see where the value is at. I got a lot for $28 (free shipping) and I really enjoyed this subscription.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will get the May box. From My Paper Box:

The Grand: The 18th day of the month is the final day for new subscribers to sign up for the next shipping. Between the 19th and 21st, your box will be shipped. On the 28th, you will auto-renew for next month’s box.

The Mini: The last day of the month is the final day for new subscribers to sign up. Between the 1st and 4th, your box will be shipped. On the 11th, you will auto-renew for next month’s box.

ACTIVE DEAL: $10 off First Grand Box
CODE: MSAOFF10

Value Breakdown: The Grand box cost $28 + free shipping. I received 10 items, counting the stickers as a set, which means each item is about $2.80 each, which is a pretty good deal since 7 of them were personalized with my name somehow.

I think the card with the translucent envelope is mailable with a piece of regular blank white paper covering it. The paper will ensure the envelope’s content remains a surprise plus it’ll create a blank canvas to write the address. I would use a permanent fine marker to ensure the ink doesn’t run or, better yet, address labels.
