Some things to consider: Have a big family to feed? Feel free to order multiples, but keep in mind that it might result in doubling up on the exact same products or you could get completely different products. It will vary from month to month. Received something you aren’t interested in? Give back to your community by donating the unwanted items. Have someone you want to send a care package to like a student in college or a grandparent? Let us do the work for you by shipping this box directly to them!

The last few boxes have come with recipe cards using something in we receive in that month’s box. This month it is Twizzler Infused Strawberry Lemonade. I hope to definitely make this soon, just need to gather up all the ingredients. I mean, look at that drink! It's beautiful!

Yumm -- these chips were so delicious! We enjoyed a bag throughout the unboxing and photographing of all the snacks we got this month. They weren’t too salty and just the right amount of cheddar sour cream flavor. My entire family loved these. We have one bag left and soon I will be on the way to the grocery store to grab more.

Admittedly, I was not too excited to try these candies until I tried these candies and now I think I have a new favorite. We received 30 individual wrapped candies in 3 assorted flavors: lime, lemon, and grapefruit. I love grapefruit and grapefruit everything, so I immediately grabbed for the pink one. There aren’t a lot of grapefruit candies around, so I was unsure what to expect. It was not too sour and was really yummy.

My family and I don’t really like caramel, I mean it's okay in Twix and Snickers bars, but on its own, it's just not a favorite. These come individually wrapped, so we each took a chance to try them. Out of the 3 people that tried it, 2 spit it out. I stood strong. It was how a traditional caramel is, sweet and sticky. I am thinking these would be perfect at work, in a little candy jar up front so that guests can grab one, or two or three. I was unable to find this online and was unable to verify retail value. Everywhere I looked the product was unavailable.

With this snack, I photographed quickly and plated even quicker. They look delicious, but if I told my kids what they were they probably would not have tried them. They ended up loving these, and I was shocked! They are little almond butter balls with chocolate and granola around them. They are so good and so bad at the same time -- it is easy to get carried away because they are bite-sized! These are a delicious win for our family.

Annie’s snacks are kind of expected with this subscription, and they are welcomed. The kids love them and snack on them often. These were cute cheese snacks with little bunny tails on them. They were super cheesy though; not horrible, but super cheesy. They will pair nicely with the next snack we unboxed.

Another family win! We love Chex Mix in our home. Everyone has a favorite piece somewhere. I normally reach for the cheddar or the traditional flavor, and this was the first time I have ever tried bold. It wasn’t my favorite, but those Annie's Bunny Tails paired perfectly with them for a little mix of flavor. These will not last long though, with or without the cheesy tail.

Look, when I saw these chips I was curious and kind of grossed out. They're made with premium cuts of 100% natural chicken (that’s where I was grossed out) that's combined with tapioca flour and crisped in coconut oil. These things are packing a whole 7g protein per serving! I love barbecue flavor and was ready to try these after a bit of hesitation. The flavor was not bad; the barbecue was really good. But the after-taste lingered and just stuck with me. It was enough to keep me from grabbing more. I wanted to like these – but I just didn’t. My son seemed to like them okay though, so I don’t think they will be a total waste. This is another product I was unable to find available online and therefore was unable to verify a retail value.

We got another flavor of these in our December box and were not happy to see them again. The main ingredient is dates and, well, those don’t sit well with us. The flavor we got this month was Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and while I won’t eat a whole bar, I took a nibble and liked the flavor a lot more than December's Peanut Butter cookie. Still, not a favorite snack. Honestly, though, I am happy I did get these in my first box because I have always wanted to try these but didn’t want to splurge on a whole box. This is why I like this subscription box!

Boy, did my kids’ faces light up when they saw this ginormous bag of Twizzlers! My son loves these, and my daughter just loves candy. I am not a fan of licorice, so they will be the ones eating these. I do intend to make that lemonade using these sooner rather than later with the recipe card I got.

Last month, we got these in roasted garlic flavor and while they were pretty good. These ones just... weren’t. Well, I didn’t like them. The wheat was a different flavor and texture than what I like in a pita chip. My son is eating them, though. He eats anything!

Another win for the kids! We got the cinnamon roll flavor in January that the kids just loved! Blueberry muffins are a family favorite around here, and I have not yet let them get into these. (They are so high on sugar and calories!) I didn’t really love the cinnamon roll flavor or the texture of this snack, and I feel like these would be the same. I would rather pop a pan of blueberry muffins in the oven.

170 Calories │ 14g Fat│ 2g Carbs │ 10g Protein – Expires April 18, 2019

Our last snack is definitely interesting and packs some serious protein! They tasted a little like beef jerky, a little lime-y, and a little chorizo-y, but they were not really yummy. I don’t think we would ever grab these at the store if we were looking for a satisfying snack.

Verdict: This month’s box was definitely full of different snacks and flavors and textures. It’s what I come to appreciate about this box -- the discovery of new snacks. Most months, there are a good mix of snacks that I really like and snacks that I would eat if I am hungry. This month, there were more than a few I wouldn’t eat at all. But I did discover a new chip and candy that I love! This month, though, we only received 12 snacks when we normally get 13, and I can't help but feel like I was missing out on something.

I love the idea of this box but the price is too high. Fortunately, we have a Big Lots nearby where I can get most of these items for less than the listed value. I would consider subscribing if a discount were available.

It was an ok box. The meat sticks were super gross, my jerky loving son spit it out. The chicken chips? Weird, but ok, I wish they hadn’t been bbq. I’m a grapefruit candy fiend, and it really is hard to find that flavor. I love hi-chew in all flavors, so I was happy to get those. The muffin mug things? Ick.
I don’t really care about expiration dates, unless something looks/smells bad. If something is off, is usually really easy to tell.

For $30 I don’t think you should receive expired products. About to expire ok but not expired. Just my opinion of course.

Thats the exact thing i was going to say..why are mostbof this expired or soon to be expired snacks !?! Thats disgusting and thank god for reviews! Because this would be sent back right away once I got expired food/candy and they would be refunding me

Bummer you didn’t like the Larabars. My favorites are the lemon and cherry flavors. I much prefer the tart ones to the sweet ones though!

I think this is a really fun box for a family or a college student. Unfortunately I don’t really need any more temptation in my life to eat snacks.

Kristin

There are several products that expired in March that you ate, when did you get this box?

Reply ButtonReply

DawnS

Read the description of the box. Most of the items are past their date or close to the date.

Gabbi Bump

Expiration dates are simply the dates that indicate when foods are at their freshest, or when the product is at its peak. It doesn’t mean the food expires in the sense that it goes bad or inedible.

Tina Ames

Yes they are close to their expiration date and yes some are expired but they were ok,they tasted fine….I think it is just a choice on if you want to eat expired snacks or not….I will eat them as long as they are not more then a month expired because they will not hurt you,if it was dairy and meat then no way….we all have all own opinions on if we should eat expired snacks or not….I am ok with it,I really love getting this box each month and so do my kids.

Tina Ames

There is nothing wrong with eating expired snacks as long as they are not too far past the expiration date…..I also received this box and ate everything the snacks were fine none of them were stale and old….I know some people will not eat expired snacks and that is ok,but if you want to eat them, that is also ok,they will not harm you, unless they are really expired.

I received this box right at the end of March, so while they were expired/expiring, they weren’t too far off. The pita chips and the sour cream and cheddar chips were the two products I received expired when the box was delivered.
