Loot Socks is part of the Loot Wear subscription collection from Loot Crate. Each month, Loot Socks sends you 2 pairs of geeky themed socks for $9.99. And Loot Crate announces the theme before each monthly shipment, so you can opt out of any month you aren’t interested in.

FYI - Loot Crate has shipping issues. We only recommend subscribing to any of their boxes if you are OK with boxes showing up late. (Possibly months late.)

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

February’s box arrived a few months late, but better late than never! Here are February’s transformative picks!

I love the retro mixtape packaging this pair came in! I’ve never watched any of the Transformers movies, but I knew exactly who the socks were of just from watching the previews and trailers in the theaters.

Transformers Socks

These bright, lively socks are soft and the unisex sizing fits me perfectly. They are lightweight and breathable, too, which is perfect for spring and summer wear.

I had to google Naruto, and it turns out it is an anime series. I’ve never been a fan of anime, but I can appreciate the simple and subtle graphics on these socks. I don’t think anyone I know would recognize the design, but I am okay with anyone thinking I had any part of a ninja academy. I took karate when I was younger, so.. relatable?

Naruto Shippūden Ninja Academy Socks

This pair is slightly thicker than the first, and they are made up of soft, quality material.

Verdict: Loot Socks happened to send out two pairs of socks that are from series I know little about, but that is the magic of subscription boxes! I will definitely wear these socks regardless, and I think the $9.99 price tag is fair for two pairs of nice socks.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

Late is something I didnt mind the new issue is they send you half a shipment so I had the lootwear combo with socks, boxers, and a shirt. The last 3 months each shipment was missing an item and customer service had 0 response.

Still waiting on my socks for the months after this one. The shipping delay page says they ship April 30 and that the transformation one was set to ship May 30, wish they’d get it together xD

Ya, I sub to three crates. Was supposed to receive Loot Fright between Apr 1-10, then it was going to ship on the 10th, then it was delayed to the 25th….and now MAY 31st!! Also my March AND April loot Socks supposedly not shipping until May 30th, which means my Risky Business Crates won’t either. I’ll have an influx of Loot items if and when they ever decide to ship them I guess

I used to do regular loot crate for about 4 years and sometimes dx and loot wear when I liked spoilers…now I remember why I cancelled! If they can’t get socks out on time, they aren’t getting my business over $10 xD
