Ipsy Reveals Are Up for the April 2019 Glam Bag Plus!

I got the palette but then a sample of the palette in my regular ipsy? Booooo

Well ladies, I did it & I skipped my Boxy this month & the Luxe last month & I paused 2 of my 3 regular GB’s & I’m actually very happy about my GBPlus & regular GB! It seems as though I’m getting more “wearable” shades & products out of just these 2 subs then if I were to get all my subs this month-were the Sub box Gods ticked off at me or what, lol!

GBPlus-Moods Palette, Benefit brow highlighter, IT Heavenly Skin brush, Goldfaden eye cream & PH dual cleanser! Happy but not overly blown away but it is kinda weird(to me) that I’m actually liking Ipsy Plus way more then BoxyCharm! Ipsy seems to be giving us more variations each month but I still wish they’d let us pick JUST 1 product EACH month! I bet alot more ppl wouldn’t skip or cancel if they did this! Next month’s Plus looks killer-really want the Avene calming cream(love this brand) & I wish they’d include more Pixie Beauty & some Elemis, Sunday Riley, more big names!
Also, what is blowing my mind right now is the Purlisse Watermelon product-the same 1 that’s in my reg bag is the same one(by weight)they sell on the Ipsy Shopper & it’s marked as $20 & travel size! I just can’t get over how much this brand is?! They’re ok but there were NO wow products that I’ve received that would make me dish out $45 for a moisturizure!

Christa I’ve been where you been wanting that GBP , there is a waitlist so it could take up. To two months , it took me two months no matter how many times I posted on my socia media pages ( which they said would get me off the waitlist faster) never did ! I emailed customer service to say I’ll be on waitlist until more spots opened up. Two months later they emailed me I was off waitlist and would be getting GBP, I was thrilled lol OMG like it was like I won the lottery of makeup subs. So glad I get both bags , it takes patience , but it was worth it ! Hope that helps. Ps you must be subscribed to regular Ipsy to get GBP and then if you choose you can cancel regular IPSY. Doesn’t hurt to email them to get off waitlist they have great customer service . Have a blessed day 😁

I didn’t get this GBP , paused until May , love the fact you can skip a month wish all subs had that option which I think is great and customer friendly. Next months box looks great though. They’ve been killing it with the regular Ipsy bags !! Love me some IPSY ❤️

So I went to log into Ipsy app last night and got a pop up asking if I wanted only the GBP or both bags. I clicked on both bags of coarse and it gave me this message:
YOU’RE NOT A GLAM BAG PLUS MEMBER!
Since we just launched, we have very limited quantities, but will add more spots over time. Stay tuned for updates!
I now have the option to view both bags at the top of my app. Does this mean that I’m on the waitlist now? Does anyone know how the upgrade works exactly? I emailed Ipsy care, but their response was no help.

Does anyone want to trade their girlactik balms for my PH cleanser? Let me know! I have a ton of other things to swap as well. I NEED those balms, hah.

Has anyone received the Girlactik lip balm in their bag?

I am getting the eyeshadow palette which is fine with me
The IT brush which I am thrilled about
The “I feel balanced” moisturizer which makes me happy.
The Paris Hilton cleanser which I don’t mind because a cleanser is a cleanser.
And the benefit brow pencil which I am not excited about.
I added the Purlisse moisturizer so actually I am pretty happy with my box.

This is only my 2nd Ipsy Glam Plus box and I have to admit, I’m not all that impressed. I will love trying the GOLDFADEN Eye Cream and the IT COSMETICS Brush, but the rest…? Well, the Benefit EyeBrow Pencil looks promising, but that LAURA SANCHEZ Eye Palette? Yikes, sorry but I don’t think so. And I’m not even talking about that PARIS HILTON thingie (shudder). I mean really? And to think, I gave up Boxycharm for this…

Every time an It cosmetics product shows up I cross my fingers I will get it but never do.

I’m also a bit disappointed that those of us who have gotten a blush palette recently are getting another blush palette, especially being that the colors seem fairly similar to the Tarte one. I guess it’s better than the alternative bronzer palette which would have been too dark for me.

I’m excited for the Goldfaden!

My Paris Hilton cleanser is going to have to go up for swap, I’m allergic to pineapple (also known as bromelain) so I can’t use this at all. But the good news is I got my top three choices, the IT brush, eye cream, and palette and given the other options this month I would have picked the high brow which I also got. I’m curious what they are going to tell me about the cleanser, I did contact them to see if they’ll do anything but it will probably take a while to hear back.

Oooooo…..I’m so bummed I didn’t get the It Cosmetics brush! I haven’t been wanting one of their face brushes for easily over a year now. I also have been an ipsy subscriber for many many years and always fill out reviews and update my profile and brushes are my number one loved item and I still didn’t get the brush, but I got the eyeshadow palette when I have only ever selected nude tones only for eyeshadows. Lol. So frustrating. Oh well, overall I am happy with the subscription, this box in general is a little frustrating. This will also be the 3rd benefit brow highlight for me.

I'm getting the blush palette instead of the bronzer & the Goldfaden MD Eye Brightener, which my parched under eyes need. I also got some add ons. Love Those !!!!

I added the Goldfaden eye cream and the 111 serum to my regular bag.

One item I really wanted and didn’t get is the Goldfaden. It annoys me that I have to pay $12 to add on. Yes, I know it’s still a bargain, but I wish we could choose one or two items each month since we pay so much, especially if we get both Ipsy and Ipsy Plus. It feels like we shouldn’t have to pay extra to get the desired set of products.

(Just my opinion) I’m glad I skipped this month’s GBP as well as last month’s. Nothing from the list of items excites me. Hopefully next month will wow me since it will be my birthday month. Pretty please Ipsy! 🙏🏼☺️

I’m getting the eyeshadow palette, brow highlighter, eye cream, facial cleanser, and blush palette. I am surprised there were no lippies this month, but am happy with what I am getting, although it is not my favorite month.

For anyone who does not know, the Sanchez eye shadow palette contains Parabens as well as some other toxic ingredients. Not a fan

I’m getting the IT brush, Laura Sanchez palette, Benefit eyebrow highlighter, Goldfaden and Paris Hilton cleanser. Meh…Not blown away this month.

I got:
– Goldfaden eye cream (my top wish from the spoilers)
– Eyeshadow pallet (fun colors so I’ll play around with it)
– PH cleanser (good reviews so hopefully it works well for me)
– Blush pallet (I wear the same blush everyday so maybe this’ll push me out of my comfort zone)
– Brow highlighter (Dear Lord, Ipsy, stop sending me highlighters!!)

Overall it’s okay but I’m really sad I didn’t get the brush and that it’s not available as an add-on. The eye cream and the brush were the 2 things I was most excited about. Oh well. Win some, lose some.

I got the goldfaden, which is the item I wanted most. I’m also receiving the eye palette, blush palette, brow highlight, and cleanser. Overall, I’m happy! I added the tarte primer too.

I have some kind of sweet attachment to all things Ipsy, and love my IPSY GBP. 🙂
I’ve never been disappointed at all with my boxes, especially since I removed the 2 face color products which just don’t work with my natural no makeup makeup look. 🙂
