Buttercream Frosted Cut-Out Cookies, 12 ct – Retail Value $29.99

When I want a sugar cookie, I want a Cheryl’s cookie. I don’t have them often because, you know, calories, but when I do I savor their buttery softness and how they feel like a pillow on my tongue. I love that the cookies can be frozen, and I have actually come to prefer the taste of one of these babies ice cold (but thawed enough to not hurt my teeth).

The Verdict: I really love these cookies - they're like a box of cheer that arrives every two months. For how much I enjoy these cookies, however, I am not sure if the subscription is worth it with the new pricing model. Previously a box would cost $23.98 ($16.99 + $6.99 shipping), but the cost has increased pretty significantly. Now, a box is $21.99 + $9.99 shipping, bringing the total to $31.98. I don’t feel like you are really saving much by subscribing the way the previous pricing model allowed you to.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? I believe so! Sign up before the end of the 3rd week of the month to get those month's cookies.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $31.98 ($21.99 + $9.99 shipping) and I received 12 delicious cookies. That breaks down to about $2.66 a cookie.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

You can sign up for emails with deals on Cheryl’s. One day this week, they offered 100 cookies for $40. You have to jump on the sales when they are offered. They had a deal for Easter with 6 really cute cookies for $10, including shipping. I sent that to 10 relatives and friends. The day after Easter, all the egg shaped cookies will be marked down and since Cheryl’s keeps them frozen, they will be perfectly fresh.

A dozen frosted cutouts are running $18 right now on their site. It’s a better deal to just look for sales and order from the site.

I ordered a variety of Cheryl’s cookies from QVC and here is what I discovered. Her frosted cookies are good and habit forming. Choc chip cookies were too hard and although the others were okay Soft Baked Pepperidge Farm cookies were just as good or better. If you like Cheryl’s cookies, go to QVC and check out the many different combinations and sizes there have. Shipping is usually free or less than in the subscription.

I agree that the frosted cookies are good but I wasn’t impressed with the other varieties that I tried. My husband is a chocolate chip cookie fiend and he only ate one of those from my order. Thanks for the tip about checking out deals on QVC.

These are my favorite cookies! The pricing seems a bit too high though. Awesome review!

I feel like these cookies are sooo overrated and bland (and totally not worth the price). Wegmans iced sugar cookies are 100 times more delicious…just about any sugar cookies are better imo.
