Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Info Card Front

Here is the info sheet for the box’s contents.

Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Recipe Front

And on the back is a recipe for a truly luxurious bath.

Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Soap Front

Eucalyptus Lemon Luxury Soap – Listed Value $15

I loved the rose soap that came in last months box, but this one wasn’t for me. I love eucalyptus, but when it is blended with lemon (in this soap, at least), it smells just like a citronella candle. I appreciate how nourishing these bars of soap are to my skin, but I’ll be passing this one along.

Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 -Elixir Apothecary Elixer Detox Bath Tea Front

Elixir Apothecary Elixer Detox Bath Tea – Listed Value $6

This bath tea is a blend of rose petals, lavender blossoms, kaolin clay, Epsom, dead sea, and pink Himalayan salt. It was a very relaxing blend, and I love that it came in a tea bag so I didn’t have to worry about cleaning up a mess in my tub after.

Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Yippee & Co Jasmine Bath Bomb FrontBath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Yippee & Co Jasmine Bath Bomb Front Open

Yippee & Co Jasmine Bath Bomb – Listed Value $6

Jasmine is such a light, floral fragrance that really makes me feel feminine when I use it. I paired this relaxing bath bomb with my Herbivore Jasmine Body Oil, and I felt like a goddess.

Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Motivate Me Bath Bomb Front

Motivate Me Bath Bomb – Listed Value $6

This bath bomb had an invigorating scent blend of eucalyptus, peppermint, and rosemary, and it really helped me to clear my mind (and sinuses) while getting ready to tackle the rest of the day ahead. I think this being named “motivate me” is appropriate- the scent is energizing!

Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Shower Packed FrontBath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Shower Unpacked Top

Shower Steamer

If you choose to receive shower steamers instead of bath bombs, this month’s selections were ginger lime and lemongrass mandarin from Elixir Apothecary. These steamers were invigorating and refreshing, and they really brightened up my morning shower.

Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Ethos Handmade White Tea Ginger Essential Oil Soy Candle FrontBath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Ethos Handmade White Tea Ginger Essential Oil Soy Candle Open

Ethos Handmade White Tea Ginger Essential Oil Soy Candle, 4 oz – Listed Value $8 (check out other candles from Ethos Handmade here)

I think more scented products need ginger- it adds such a refreshing zing to the delicate floral scent of white tea. This candle is made with 100% American grown soybean wax, and it burned clean and evenly while filling my bathroom with the delicate scent.

Bath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Pomegranate Pear Sugar Scrub FrontBath Blessing Sanctuary March 2019 - Pomegranate Pear Sugar Scrub Open

Pomegranate Pear Sugar Scrub – Listed Value $22

This sugar scrub is packed with nourishing oils that really hydrated my skin while the organic sugar gently exfoliated. The pomegranate pear scent was fruity but not too sweet, and honestly, now I am wondering why pear isn’t used more in bath products- it is so lovely.

The Verdict: The Sanctuary Bath Box from Bath Blessing is such a lovely experience. Rather than focusing on bright colors and sugary scents like some other bath brands, Bath Blessing focuses on the highest quality possible when it comes to ingredients. I also really like that you can specify when you sign up whether you want bath bombs or shower steamers – to my knowledge, this is the only bath box that you can use everything from even if you don’t have a bathtub! Value-wise, even if some of the listed values seem a bit high, I definitely think you’re getting a great value when you consider the free shipping and the quality of the items sent.

To Wrap Up:

Can You get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive April. Boxes ship between the 15-22nd of every month.

COUPON: Use code Blessing$10 to save $10 off your first box!

Value Breakdown: At $39.99 + free shipping for this box you are paying about $5.71 per item.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

  1. Awesome review! I love that there are 3 tiers to choose from and the steamer/bomb option.

  2. I generally really love the bath boxes but this one had a smell like old powdered Cheer detergent to me. It was so strong, I was sneezing and eyes were watering.

I threw it away- in the garage. The scent of something, likely the homemade soap, was really strong and unpleasant for me. Others might respond otherwise, but I was stunned at the overuse of added scent in the products.
