Tony Moly March Monthly Bundle Review

Tony Moly March 2019 - I'm Real Sheet Mask in Tea Tree Front

I'm Real Sheet Mask in Tea Tree – Estimated Value $3 (buy a pack of 2 for $6)

I am pretty sure the I'm Real sheet mask line from Tony Moly was my first ever sheet mask introduction! I would like to think I've moved on to bigger and fancier masks, but seeing these always makes me smile. Along with tea tree, this has allantoin and banana extract, and this fit my face well.

Tony Moly March 2019 - I'm Real Sheet Mask in Seaweed Front

I'm Real Sheet Mask in Seaweed – Estimated Value $3 (buy a pack of 2 for $6)

This mask is made with seaweed extract and apple extract to gently purify your skin while delivering a boost of moisture.

Tony Moly March 2019 - I'm Real Sheet Mask in Pearl Front

I'm Real Sheet Mask in Pearl – Estimated Value $3 (buy a pack of 2 for $6)

This version is made with pearl extract to brighten your skin. I don’t know if pearl extract can actually penetrate your skin due to the size of the molecule, but regardless this is hydrating and fun to wear.

Tony Moly March 2019 - Dr. Logy Sheet Mask in Sensitive Front

Dr. Logy Sheet Mask in Sensitive – Retail Value $4.95

This mask is made with chamomile and lavender to calm sensitive skin and add some moisture, and it did just that! I found it soothing to my skin, and I appreciated the 15 minutes of relaxation this gave me.

Tony Moly March 2019 - Painting Therapy Mask in Blue Hydrating Front

Painting Therapy Mask in Blue Hydrating – Retail Value $6.50

I have actually used this mask before (I think it came in a long-ago Pink Seoul box), and I am a fan. It is a gel-based clay mask that is designed to hydrate your skin thanks to a “marine moist complex,” and it is fun to paint the blue mask on my face in areas that need the moisture.

Tony Moly March 2019 - Egg Pore Nose Pack Box FrontTony Moly March 2019 - Egg Pore Nose Pack Front

Egg Pore Nose Pack – Retail Value $6.50

These nose strips are made with eggshell powder, charcoal, and sesame seed extract to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads without leaving your nose a bright red. I am lucky that I don’t get too many blackheads, but when I used this after a shower it was able to clear some out of my nose! This box came with 7 nose strips, so I should be set for a while.

Tony Moly March 2019 - Black Tea London Classic Serum Front

Black Tea London Classic Serum, 0.35 oz – Estimated Value $7.82 (buy the full-size version for $43)

Fermented black tea is a super popular skincare ingredient in K-Beauty (hello, Amorepacific single extract essence), but I haven't actually tried it before. I really liked this serum- out of the tube it was a little thick, but it really glided over my skin and then sank in quickly. 56% of this serum is fermented black tea, and I am happy to get the antioxidant benefits by using this.

Tony Moly March 2019 - The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Skin Toner Front

The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Skin Toner, 4.40 oz – Estimated Value $16.61 (buy the full-size version for $23)

This toner smells just like green tea and absorbed into my skin quickly. While I am not stoked about the alcohol on the ingredients list, I appreciate that green tea is the first one listed, and there should be enough good ingredients in this to balance out any potential adverse effects from the alcohol.

Tony Moly March 2019 - The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Eye Cream 1Tony Moly March 2019 - The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Eye Cream 2Tony Moly March 2019 - The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Eye Cream 3

The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Eye Cream, Full-Size! Retail Value $24

40% of this eye cream is fermented black tea extract, and this also has niacinamide and adenosine to nourish and brighten while providing antioxidants. This was very gentle and absorbed into my delicate eye area quickly with no irritation.

Tony Moly March 2019 - Panda's Dream White Sleeping Pack Front

Panda's Dream White Sleeping Pack, 1 oz – Estimated Value $8.53 (buy the full-size version for $14.50

This sleeping mask has niacinamide, allantoin, bamboo sap, and rosemary extract to brighten your skin and even out your skin tone overnight! This is pretty lightweight compared to the sleeping masks I am used to, but it still kept my face hydrated throughout the night.

Tony Moly March 2019 - UV Master Vital Sun Stick Front

UV Master Vital Sun Stick, 0.12 oz – Estimated Value $4.28 (buy the full-size version for $27.50)

This sunscreen is non-sticky, blended well into my skin, and was actually pretty hydrating thanks to the moisture soothing complex made of aloe, green tea, bamboo, cactus, and hinoki water. This didn’t leave a white cast, and this small size actually makes it perfect to use as a lip sunscreen (sunburned lips are the WORST).

Tony Moly March 2019 - Sample Front

I also got these two foil packets, which I think are included with every online purchase.

The Verdict: I thought this curated assortment from TONYMOLY was awesome! It had a great mix of products with effective ingredients and products that are just plain cute and fun. I appreciate that all of the sizes are big enough to really get a good idea on if the product works for you, too. Tony Moly promises a value of $90, and by my math, they came up a touch short with a total value of $88.19. I still think the value is great, especially if you appreciate fun beauty products and want to try more K-Beauty products.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, as of publication, this box was still available!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $46.50 ($39 + $7.50 shipping) and I calculated a total value of $88.19. That means you’re paying approximately the following per item:

  • I’m Real Tea Tree: $1.58
  • I’m Real Seaweed: $1.58
  • I’m Real Pearl: $1.58
  • Dr. Logy: $2.61

I am loving this box – already loved the sheet masks, had heard great things about the chok chok green tea line, and I love trying new Asian Skincare.

Please let us know when TonyMoly releases the April box!

I love the black tea London serum and the watery cream, but I am way past product overload. The main deterrent was the sheer masks. I currently have a drawer with over 40 sheet masks. And I have all but lost my interest in them. They are heading to work with me on Monday. I am sure someone there will appreciate them.

The green tea eye cream is made with black tea? Not trying to be snarky, just honestly confused.

Thanks for pointing that out! That was a mistake on my part, it’s 40% fermented GREEN tea.

Nice review Jessica! I’ve been teetering on the edge of ordering this…my wallet says no but my heart says “Do it”!! 😋 I have the Painting Therapy Mask in Black but I’ve been waiting to use it hoping for at least one other color so I can have a little fun. I love my masks but they can get a little boring!

Miss Pippa

I love Tony Moly & appreciate the review. Their packaging makes me smile too. I would love to see them do some theme boxes. Something like all brightening products or all fruit masks. They have done a rose set in the past that was really nice. If a rose box came along I would buy multiples in a heart beat.

Kimberly

They have two boxes under the “new” section. There’s Hydration Heroes (a green tea skincare set) and Glow for It (a rose and peach skincare set). They aren’t the value that this reviewed box is, but they are both on sale.
