Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - Information Sheet Top

Here is the info sheet for the box.

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - Prepared By Lisa Top

On the opposite of the info sheet was a note that Lis prepared my pouch!

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - Bomb From Belief Top

Each month we get a foil sample or two, and this month we got a sample of the moisturizing bomb from Belif! I have tried this brand before (they're sold at Sephora!) and I am happy to have a sample to stick in my travel bag. This is a lightweight cream that is super nourishing, and I hope the trend of sending well-known brands as samples continues!

Yedam YunBit Complete Snail Essence, Full-Size!

Thanks to the powers of social media I have a few Instagram friends in Korea, and I was super curious about this brand since I can’t find much about it online. My friend told me that this is basically a bougie brand marketed to affluent women in Korea, and I can get down with that. The packaging alone makes me happy- look at those holographic stars on the box. Thanks to subscription boxes, I have been successful in slowly making essences a part of my everyday routine- they add an extra layer of hydration that helps the rest of your products to absorb better! This essence has a creamy texture, but one pump covers my entire face and it absorbs quickly. Along with snail secretion filtrate, this essence also has grapeseed oil and carrot extract, and I love the way this bottle looks on my (very messy) sink.

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - TonyMoly Perfect Lips Double Color Tint in #2 Double Heart Package TopSooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - TonyMoly Perfect Lips Double Color Tint in #2 Double Heart Top

TonyMoly Perfect Lips Double Color Tint in #2 Double Heart – Retail Value $10.24

This is a dual-ended lippie with one end being a lip pencil and the other being a velvet liquid lipstick. TonyMoly calls the lipstick a lip tint, but I definitely think the formula is too creamy and thick to be a lip tint.

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - TonyMoly Perfect Lips Double Color Tint in #2 Double Heart Swatched Top

Here it is swatched.

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - Suaviss Body Wash in Coconut Front

Suaviss Body Wash in Coconut, 1.7 oz

30% of this body wash is coconut juice, so as you can imagine it smells amazing. If I close my eyes when I am using this, I can almost pretend that a fruity drink in a pineapple and a beach are waiting for me once I step out of the shower.

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener Front

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener, 0.84 oz – Estimated Value $1.30 (buy the 1.7 oz version for $2.60)

This toner is designed to decrease oils on your skin thanks to the alcohol and peppermint extract and it seems to be pretty popular on Instagram. I try to avoid alcohol in skincare (especially in toners!), and peppermint extract can really irritate my skin (some people have no issues with essential oils in skincare products but peppermint and my cheeks have a history), so I’ll be passing this along to a friend.

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - Labute Revive the Skin Pink Rose Mask Top

Labute Revive the Skin Pink Rose Mask – Retail Value $2.76

I really love rose in skincare products, so sheet masks like these are always welcome. This had a natural rose scent that I found to be very pleasant, and the mask fit my face well. Rose is such a calming skin care ingredient, and my skin looked refreshed when I was done wearing this.

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - A’Pieu Real Big Yogurt Strawberry Mask Top

A’Pieu Real Big Yogurt Strawberry Mask – Retail Value $2

I was introduced to A’Pieu through subscription boxes over a year ago, and now I can confidently say they are one of my favorite K-Beauty brands. This mask is made with yogurt, probiotics, and strawberry fruit extract. It smells like strawberry and has a plastic backing that makes unfolding the mask easy. My skin felt nourished when I was done wearing it, and I thought the strawberry scent made it fun.

Sooni Mini Pouch Review March 2019 - Skin Planet Gold Lifting Mask Top

Skin Planet Gold Lifting Mask

This mask is made with 24k gold and is designed to brighten dull complexions and hydrate your skin. I am pretty sure that the gold molecule is too big to actually penetrate your skin, but appreciate the fact that it makes me feel fancier. The serum on this was really milky, and it fit my face well. My favorite part was how cooling this was to wear- the cooling sensation is one of my favorite parts of doing a sheet mask!

The Verdict: I thought this was another good box from Sooni Mini Pouch. Full-size skincare is always welcome, especially in a $20 box. Other than the sample of toner from Etude House, none of these items were misses for me. I still wish Sooni Pouch would include more information on their info sheet since so many of the products are hard to find and have Korean-only product packaging, but part of the fun of this subscription is trying brand new K-Beauty products, and I think they delivered that. This box is supposed to include 3-4 full-size or deluxe size samples with a retail value of over $60. I couldn’t find a value for the big ticket items in this box, however, I definitely think I got my monies worth for the $19.99 cost.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? Yes, I believe March boxes are still shipping.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $19.99 + free US shipping, which means that each of the 7 items (not including the foil sample) in the box has an average cost of $2.85.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

I said this a few times in the mask post but my comments keep getting ignored. The FAMILY code does not work.
