Pugslie’s Toys - Critterz Wild Bird Toy - Retail Value $11.99

The first item I took out of the bag was this adorable duck toy. He is 13” X 13”, stuffing free, and contains crinkly material for added fun. This toy does not contain a squeaker, but does have an extra fuzzy tail! The tag states this is not a chew toy and is for interactive use only. I took my pups outside for a few rounds of fetch with this guy and they loved it! Since both of my dogs are bird dogs, this was also very fitting for them! A definite win in our book!

Fou-Stick Soothe Stick - Retail Value $11.77

The next item I took out of the bag was a natural soothing pet balm to help relieve dry itchy skin and minor skin irritations. This product contains aloe vera, neem oil, coconut oil, and shea butter. While my dogs don’t currently have any affected areas, my own knuckles are unbelievably dry due to the never-ending winter, so I used it and was pleasantly surprised at the ease of application and how well it worked! And of course, it's nice to have on hand for my pups! Eric also received this stick in his November box.

Healthy Dogma Tiki Treats - Pineapple Pork Dog Treats - Buy a case of 6, 5 oz. bags for $35.70 (found here for $9.00)

The last item in the bag was a bag of small round dog treats. These pineapple pork flavored bites are made in Michigan with all ingredients being sourced in the USA. They contain pork, barley, oats, peas, canola oil, pineapple, and calcium propionate. They were definitely my dogs favorite part of the bag - they are the perfect treat to get my pups to kennel up, and for training. Because they are so heavily discounted on their website, I’m wondering if they are being discontinued. I am definitely going to be placing an order for more!

Verdict: This was my first month reviewing Mini Monthly Mystery Box For Dogs, and my dogs are so happy! The treats and the toy were definite wins for us, and the fou-stick is a nice item to have on hand, especially since it can be used on cats and dogs. I can’t wait to see what they send next month!

To Wrap Up:

Value Breakdown: This month I received 3 items. The subscription costs $15 a month, and If I were to go online to purchase these items it would cost over $25. That is also only paying $1.50 for the bag of treats which is a steal! I think this was a great value and a fun way to try new products!

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Items vary from shipment to shipment, so you're not guaranteed the same items as seen here.

I got this sub for about a year and while it is nice, for the extra money Bark box blows them out of the water. You get twice the items and better quality. This box does a lot of repeats. That stick is in about every 4th box. Did you not get a bandanna? That was another reason I quit this one. My dog is about 9 lbs and although I was paying for the small dog box they would send toys and bandannas that were huge.

Hey Michelle!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us! A lot has changed over the course of a year. Our brand definitely focuses on quality, but value as well. The stick you are thinking of is another one from Fou Pet. Yes, they do make quite a few types of items, and we’ve been lucky enough to use a few of them – but we don’t put in the same items each month, however, year to year, you will see some items closely related.

I’d love to earn back your business. Bark Box is a great company, and they provide great products. But their price point is higher.

We just started doing smaller bandanas for smaller dogs, so I appreciate that feedback quite a bit, as we’ve started making them smaller.

Thanks for all your feedback, we hope to earn back your business sometime. Send me an email to support and I’ll make sure to send you a coupon code.

Thanks!
