Loved + Blessed “Uplift” March 2019 Review
Each box includes a theme card on the inside of the front lid of the box. This month’s theme is “Uplift” and is all about uplifting your spirit and those that are around you. We accept that there will be hard times but also trust that there will be better days. In times of depression, sadness, stress and anxiety, we have to be hopeful, trust God, know that we are loved and acknowledge our many blessings. This card describes the theme in detail and is intended to be a keepsake and serve as a visual reminder to uplift your spirit.
The information card describes the items in this month’s box and their intended purpose. It encourages you to read more on the Loved + Blessed blog and invites you to fellowship with Loved + Blessed in their private Facebook group. It also highlights the charitable cause supported this month.
Mini Poster – Let Your Smile Change the World
This mini poster reads “Let your smile change the world”. It encourages you to not let the world get you down and change your smile to a frown. A similar quote says “Share your smile with the world”. It sounds cheesy but we know that smiling can improve your mood and it’s contagious so smiling at others can also help improve their mood too!
Reminder Sticker – Smile Until You Mean It
Fake it until you make it? Well, yes! This month sticker reads "Smile until you mean it.” Studies show that smiling releases endorphins. Psychologists have found that even if you're in a bad mood, you can instantly lift your spirit by forcing yourself to smile. If you feel silly doing this, even better. Now you have something to laugh and smile about!

At Loved + Blessed, reminder gifts are intended to serve as a reminder and reinforce the month's topic. This month's box includes this "Good Vibes" candle from Posh Candle Co. Good Vibes is a relaxing blend of peppermint, eucalyptus, and lavender that will definitely uplift your spirit. Posh creates clean-burning soy candles that are hand poured in reusable glass jars. They smell amazing! I find that this scent smells fantastic in the jar but the smell doesn't carry well in my large open spaces. It is however perfect for smaller spaces, like a home office or even in the bathroom.
Encouragement Kit – Encouragement Flyer
At Loved + Blessed, encouragement kits are meant to be shared to pass along encouragement to others and brighten their day. This month, an encouragement flyer is included. It's super cute. It can be hung anywhere to uplift family and friends, co-workers or strangers. Just cut along the dotted lines, hang it in clear view, and allow others to take what they need. It would be great to have a PDF version of this flyer to share the love in many places.

This verse speaks to the ability to uplift your mood through gratitude. It’s easy to focus on all of the troubles and challenges in life. Think of the good things in your life, the things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. This simple act puts things into perspective and can really uplift your spirit.
Monthly Blog Post and Workbook
Each box includes a card (not pictured) that contains the information and password for accessing the monthly blog and workbook. This members-only content includes access to a library of resources, special events, and private sales. The blog further delves into the month's theme. The workbooks have been impressive. There is a lesson along with journaling prompts and activities for each week. I find a lot of value in this member exclusive content. It's often my favorite part of the box. In this month's workbook, I'm looking forward to the week 3 challenge to meditate on good things and week 4 challenge to uplift others.
Private Facebook Group – Loved and Blessed Ladies
The private Facebook group offers a space to connect with other Loved + Blessed subscribers for fellowship and discussion. The Loved + Blessed founder Jamila often posts encouraging videos in the group which I enjoy.
The Verdict: I look forward to receiving this box each month to see what the Loved + Blessed team has in store for us! This month’s theme is refreshingly simple and an easy life lesson. I have a naturally smiley disposition but it doesn't take much to throw me off track. I aspire to be fully in control of my mood and limit the ability of others to negatively affect my attitude. My goal is to stay uplifted and uplift others around me. I also find time daily to focus on those things that I am grateful for. I know from personal experience that this does indeed change your perspective which uplifts your mood and brightens your outlook.
Loved + Blessed is a very special box. It is so well thought-out and inspirational. I love that the month’s theme is carried throughout all the items in the box – even down to the color choices. I enjoyed all the items especially the candle and the poster. This box is only $19.99 and includes free shipping. It’s not an expensive box and it delivers a great deal of value to my life. I definitely think this box is worth the price.
