LiveGlam MorpheMe "Glamrock" Review

This month I received three high-end brushes for the face and eyes. All of these brushes are from the Elite Series and are made from synthetic bristles and created for precision. This is the first month that I have received less than 4 brushes. Let’s see what I got:

The theme this month is "Glamrock."

brush info

The info card comes with a photo and short description of how you can use each brush. Many brushes can be used for many different things, so you can make them work best for you.

mini angled buffer brush mini angled buffer detail mini angled buffer used

E46 Mini Angled Buffer - Retail Value $6

The recommended use for this soft, angled buffer is for blending out concealer under the eyes. I've used it that way here but, as usual, I just don't like the finish of a brush versus a sponge. But, this brush is perfect for quickly applying a wash of color over the lids without much effort at all.

deluxe under eye powder brush deluxe under eye powder detail deluxe under eye powder used

E56 Deluxe Under Eye Powder - Retail Value $17

I have other designated under eye setting powder brushes but this one is much bigger and more densely packed. It works well for applying and dusting away a bake or for removing eyeshadow fallout. Honestly, this is one of those brushes that could be used for almost anything including foundation, blush, or bronzer.

bullet crease brush bullet crease detail bullet crease used

E24 Bullet Crease - Retail Value $7

This is another classic multi-tasking brush! The bullet shape and stiff (but not scratchy) bristles make this perfect for applying inner corner highlight, pressing concealer into hard-to-reach places, or precisely working color into the crease. Here I used it to press a shimmery eyeshadow into the inner corners of my eye and over the inner half of my lid for a pop of brightness.

completed look with all brushes

Verdict: MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club sent three professional-level brushes that have a total retail value of $30. Even though this is the first month that included less than four brushes, I'm happy with the selection. The quality is great for such an affordable price and I like that they can all be used for multiple things. If you're worried about receiving too many similar brushes, remember that you can log onto your account and swap or skip a month anytime!

Well, they scammed my bank and got my social security money out of my account before I even woke up this morning. Now I have to get a new card and wait for an investigation to even get my money back. BEWARE!!!!

March was a month I didn’t swap a single brush. This set was a great addition to add to my brush collection even though I am really on brush overload. 🙂 For the price these are really nice brushes, and I haven’t had any issues at all with shedding.
