Kinder Beauty Box Natural Beauty March 2019 Review
Each box comes with an info card that has each product pictured with a short description and listed value, so you know what each product is worth.
Eve Hansen Antioxidant Sheet Mask, 1 mask – Estimated Value $4.20 (Buy 5 masks for $20.98)
Sheet masks are hit and miss for me, but I really enjoyed this one! Usually, they are too fragranced, but this one had a very mild scent that I could barely pick up after application. This refreshing sheet mask is infused with antioxidants to reduce irritations and redness, as well as to soothe and nourish skin. I wore this mask for 15 minutes, then massaged the leftover serum all over my face and neck. I really liked how calm and bright this left my skin looking.
Franklin & Whitman Washington Square Botanical Steam, 4oz. – Retail Value $21.95
I had my first floral steam this month, thanks to MoonBox by Gaia Collective, and it is now a part of my weekly me-time ritual. Needless to say, I was so excited to try this new organic rose, lavender and calendula blend. I only used a tablespoon of this mixture so the lavender wasn’t too overpowering, and it was so relaxing. After I steamed, I used a moisturizing face mask and headed to the couch where I ended up snoozing through a few episodes of Seinfeld.
The Kind Poppy Lavender Bath Bomb – Listed Value $6.50
I couldn’t find this exact bomb online, but they have others available on the site. I am glad that this gritty bomb came contained in plastic wrap, because there was a minor incident and, after hitting the floor, it fell to pieces. The bomb is white, which leaves out the risk of it staining my tub, and it didn’t leave an oily residue to clean up either! It had a decent fizz to it, smelled of lavender, and left my skin feeling somewhat moisturized.
Farmhouse Fresh Coconut Cream Shea Butter Hand Cream, 2oz. – Retail Value $15
I can always count on one of my subscriptions to keep me stocked up on fancy hand creams. I’ve never heard of Farmhouse Fresh, but the packaging and rich, shea butter cream has me wanting more. The sweet smell of coconut cream reminds me of summer, and makes me want to order some macaroons at the same time! This vegan formula is paraben, sulfate, and cruelty-free.
100% Pure Maracuja Mascara, 0.35oz – Retail Value $26
Being somewhat of a mascara snob, I always go into trying new mascaras very critically. Winning formulas have to plump up my lashes, hold a curl and not flake into or under my eyes. This mascara is soft to the touch, so it is a no-flake risk. It volumized to an extent but nothing like Benefit BADGal Bang (my current favorite). I received the color Black Tea, which is a decently dark black. I think this may be a great layering or priming mascara, which I’d finish off with a more curl-gripping/lengthening formula like BADgal Bang or Tarte’s Maneater mascara (both of which I love on their own). Also, this formula smells kind of fruity, if that’s something anyone looks for in a mascara.
Soulmakes Palo Santa Wood Stick Bundle, 3 sticks - Estimated Value $2.25, Listed Value $4.50 (Buy 6 sticks here for $4.50)
I wasn’t sure what to make of this stick bundle when I opened the box, but I actually love receiving offbeat items like this. The info sheet says that they evoke relaxation, joy, and harmony, and you can light them or place them around the house. I think they will go perfectly with some of my Easter decor or with my indoor plants. The pricing Kinder Beauty Box listed on the sheet was for 6 sticks, but we only received a bundle of 3.
Verdict: It has been a while since I’ve opened such a lovely box. Kinder Beauty Box really nailed this spa themed, treat yourself March box. It actually really reminded me of the perfect Mother’s Day box. I will certainly be using everything sampled this month, especially the delicious hand cream by Farmhouse Fresh.
This box has a value of $75.90, which is great for a $24 (+free shipping) box!
