Facetory is a monthly sheet mask facial subscription. The company aims to provide its members with the latest cult faves from the Korean sheet mask trend.

This is a review of the 7 LUX subscription level ($19.90 per month + free US shipping), which includes 7 curated sheet masks with slightly higher-functioning ingredients (think hydrogels and other more sophisticated ingredients).

They also offer a 4-Ever Fresh subscription level ($8.90 per month + free shipping), which includes four curated sheet masks made from traditional fabrics like cotton and cellulose and a Lux Plus box ($34.95 per month + free shipping), which includes three full-size products, three masks, and one specialty item.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Now on to the masks!

FaceTory Be Bright Be You Brightening Foil Mask - Listed Value $4.00

For a lemon mask, this one really wasn't very lemony! I generally have a hard time with the fit of gold or foil masks, but this was one of the better fitting ones I have ever tried. I think because the foil was more flexible. It had a ton of serum left behind in the pouch, meaning you can apply it down your neck if you want. Its clear serum wasn't sticky, and though I wish this had felt more citrusy, it was a good mask for brightening my skin up after a long day.

Neogen Lab Revital Propolis Ampoule Mask - Listed Value $4.50

This mask was a little weird to look at because the color of the fibers was a weird pale brown. It kind of threw me off at first! The serum is clear and has a fresh clean scent. I always enjoy propolis in a mask because it seals in moisture really well. This is because it is the stuff bees use to seal up their hives! It also has niacinamide, so you will have tons of moisture to hold on to.

Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 bubble mask Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 bubble mask back

NOHJ Pore Bubble Mask - Retail Value $4.50

I love a bubble mask! This one smelled really awesome and much stronger than a usual mask. It has grapefruit extract and tea tree oil, which created a really invigorating pore clearing experience. This mask was black, but it quickly was covered in a thick layer of microbubbles. They were everywhere! You do have to wash this one off after, which does add an extra step, but I found it entirely worth it for how clean and refreshed my skin felt.

Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 gold injection mask Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 gold injection mask back

Banobagi Gold Propolis Injection Mask - Listed Value $5.50

This mask was really unique because it was a white fiber but had a gold geometric print foiled all over it. It fit well enough, and the formula had both gold and propolis, two anti-aging ingredients that my skin loves. These two power players seem to be making multiple appearances this month! No real scent here, and a lightweight clear serum that did leave a little stickiness, but nothing moisturizer couldn't fix.

Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 gold glow mask Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 gold glow mask back

Frienvita Perfect Skin Adhesion Firming Gold Glow Mask - Retail Value $4.00

Another black fiber mask, but this one had speckles of gold leaf all over it! It also had micro collagen in it, which always makes my skin feel super plump and radiant. It had a super soft floral scent, (maybe roses?) and felt so soft against my skin. This is my top pick this month!

Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 white tea mask Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 white tea mask back

Cosmetea White Tea Brightening Moisture Mask - Retail Value $3.50

I have bought jelly cleansers from this brand before and really like them. They always have a tea+flower sort of theme. This had a light tea sort of scent and the serum was milky/creamy. It left my skin feeling very dewy and not sticky. You can often find these masks and other items from this brand at your local TJMaxx or Marshalls!

Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 refresh mask Facetory 7 Lux March 2019 refresh mask back

Jeu’Demeure Refresh Mask - Listed Value $4.00

This is likely the most straightforward mask this month, but it smells nice and fits well. It also has that moisture bomb that is niacinamide, so your skin will feel super hydrated after using it. I noticed this one was the most calming in terms of redness reduction this month.

Verdict: Facetory was all about propolis and gold this month, and it felt pretty darn fancy! I don't think there was a single dud for me this month, which surprises me because I tend to prefer over the top botanical masks. This month brought my first bubble mask from the sub and I loved it so much. It was so weird and borderline gross, and wonderful in every way. I also loved the gold specks in the Frienvita because they felt super expensive and luxe. My skin might be a snob now. The others all worked very well with my skin, and I think there was less sticky residue in this round than ever! I think March might have been one of my favorite months ever.

This month's masks have a total value of $30 which is good for $19.90 a month, plus free shipping.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

It is a good one! And I normally want botanical masks, so that is high praise.
