Here is what you will get in March 2019 palette:

Inspired by the allure of an untouched desert oasis, our collection of pressed eyeshadows is ablaze with wild beauty. This dynamic palette features ten highly pigmented shadows in two irresistible finishes: velvety matte and exotic shimmer. Hues range from sun-bleached to celestial, evoking a dramatic landscape of sand dunes, cactus flower and canyons. Adventure into new terrain: layer shades to build eyes so intense you’ll crave shade. #DeckOfScarlet

This Artist-in-Chief for this palette is YouTube star Stephanie Lange:

She’s crazy honest, delightfully bold, and all about those amped up eyes - Stephanie Lange is all our makeup goals rolled into one. Rocker, writer, and “plant-based animal-lover,” Stephanie prefers cruelty-free beauty that makes an impact. Her insanely inspiring looks go from load… to louder - and we can’t get enough. Never afraid to dial up the intensity, Stephanie knows just how to blend, sweep & shade our first special edition eyeshadow deck. You ready?

That picture makes me want to throw all my makeup away and go natural. Waaaay too much My dad was a circus clown for 45 years and wore less than she has on. It is supposed to enhance beauty not cover it up.

Makeup is a personal preference and this sounds a lot like putting another woman down for doing something different than you:(

I have considered subscribing in the past, but $30 just seems really high to me especially if they’re going monthly now. Plus you can always find a sale at Sephora and buy a well reviewed palette you want. I picked up the Anastasia Sultry palette for $27 the other day, so this sub just seems really expensive to me.

That’s almost exactly what I said below. $30 is not a deal at all!

All cheeks- definitely not.
All lips- yuck.
Please don’t change the palettes. Coordination is what makes them great.

Beautiful palette, however there is NO way it would sell for $80, much less $150. And at $30, it doesn’t even seem like much of a deal. It looks like a $30-35 palette at full price. It might be a good change for the company though, I’d,Ike to see what each month brings. Hopefully the formulas will improve, in the past many people had mentioned pigment issues and lots of fallout.

I hate when brands overprice themselves (*cough* a lot of private FFF brands that no one’s ever heard of before). Try & sell without subs. Can’t? Lower your worth lol…

I agree, this would be a really nice subscription if it was about half the price. The industry is saturated with product, there are a lot of palettes out there, some of them are phenomenal and IMO none of them are worth $150. I just don’t think $30 is reasonable for something that’s not tried and true and to say it’s $150 value is ridiculous. That stuff better blend itself for $150!

Exactly!

I think it’s smart of them to branch out this way.

I always get excited about the colors in Deck of Scarlet palettes, but then I look at the sample looks made with them and lose interest in subscribing.

Don’t get me wrong – I can appreciate that influencers belong to a world with different aesthetic norms – but I wish there were also a few photos of these colors being combined for normal life looks. I WANT to be inspired – they’re just not reaching me yet.

(That said, it’s a beautiful palette. If I hadn’t splurged in the Iby Desert Vibes palette recently, I’d be really tempted.)

I really love this palette, but the pigment was not very good in the two decks I’ve gotten before.. so I’m gonna wait to see reviews. :\

I don’t care for her particular look, but the palette looks beautiful. I don’t need it but I sure want it!
