Lavandin Essential Oil, 10 ml - Listed Value $16.00

Bergamot Essential Oil, 10 ml - Listed Value $19.00

I wasn't sure if Lavandin was the same thing as the lavender I was used to, so I did a little research! Apparently, there is a slight difference stemming from where the lavender is grown, what it is crossed with,  and slight biological differences. To my nose, this is much sharper than my other lavender oils, but I like it very much! Of course, I adore the citrus scent of the bergamot and love mixing it with cedar.

Drinking Chocolate by NibMor, 2.5 oz - Listed Value $1.50 (Buy 6 pouches for $7.00)

This was really good chocolate! I enjoyed it with vanilla almond milk in front of my fireplace on a snowy night. It was just sweet enough and felt like a simple luxury after a really busy day. I appreciate that it was without artificial sweeteners!

Semi Precious Gemstone Necklace by May Style - Listed Value $19.00

I really like the style of this necklace so much. I wish it was sterling though because I have mild metal allergies and my neck turns green pretty quickly. I feel like the style of this necklace would work really well with a cute turtle neck though, so maybe I will have to pair it with one. The stone above the tassel is a beautiful pale green and the dup of chains is simple, yet on trend. Has anyone seen something similar around made out of sterling they could link to me?

Here it is on!

Kahm Hair Treatment by Marraakesh, 2 fl oz - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $20.99

If you read my reviews at all you know I am the least likely to really use hair products. That being said, the smell of this lightweight cream really won me over. It is a blend of keratin, argan oil, and hemp seed oil. Though those ingredients are super moisturizing, the formula is light and didn't weigh my hair down. You can use with a blow drier and brush for straight hair, but I don't use a blow drier and I scrunched it into my damp hair for soft waves with much less winter frizz.

Eat, Drink, and be Gorgeous: A Nutritionist's Guide to Living Well While Living It Up - Retail Value $22.95 (found here for $20.25)

This book is by Esther Blum, who was the Director of Nutrition for my FAVE skincare brand Dr. Perricone MD. Squee! In this book, she lays out the way to indulge in the finer things life has to offer without doing damage to your health and appearance. My favorite insight was her concise drink swapping list which recommended healthier alternatives to my favorite cocktails. The tone of this book was a lot more uplifting than some similar self-help fares, and her rules much more flexible than rigid, which is a style of living I can fully embrace.

KITSCH Microfiber Hair Wrap - Retail Value $23.00

I have been meaning to buy one of these hair towels for years and just never did it. I was thrilled to see one in this box! The palm print is so trendy and cute and really makes me feel summery. This clever towel is the perfect shape and size for my alarming amount of hair and even has a cute rose gold button for securing the twist after you have wrapped your hair. It was super absorbent and is machine washable.

Viski Modern Moscow Mule Mug - Retail Value $14.34, Listed Value $29.99

We love copper mug in our house, so this is a welcome addition. My husband really loves a cold beer in them. This one is a very modern take on that traditional beverage cup, and I love the sleek lines and square handle. The inside is a handsome stainless steel and the outside copper is shiny and very bright.

Minute Mixology Moscow Mule Packets, 8 single serve packets - Buy 16 packets for $15.99

I LOVE that they curated a drink mix that I can use immediately with my new mug! I am a big fan of Moscow Mules, but even I can admit I don't regularly have all the ingredients around when I want them. These packets actually do a good job mimicking the drink, especially when you add in a little fresh lime. This powder has a true ginger spice that I absolutely love. Simply mix it with soda, ice, and vodka, and voila! Moscow mule time. I prefer gin to vodka, and that also worked beautifully. These packets make a great mocktail if you are someone who doesn't drink.

Kaneli Beauty Drops, 1 fl oz - Listed Value $39.00

I love face oils, so I am usually really excited to try a new formula or brand. My skin is super dry, and I find sleeping in oils works really well for me, though using them during the day really makes my foundation perform terribly. This is a nice blend of oils that were hydrating and nourishing. It smelled like rosemary and neroli. The base is jojoba and hemp seed oils which are extremely hydrating. It also contains Vitamin C, which is a great collagen boosting ingredient.

Verdict: This just might be my favorite Bombay & Cedar box yet. It felt so thoughtfully curated. Even the overall colors between products had this sort of synergy, from the greens of the hair wrap, necklace, and drink mix to the copper mug and the rose gold button on the wrap. It was all very cohesive. It felt like a great summer box, and although there is literally inches of snow outside my window right now, I absolutely loved the warm relaxed vibes. There wasn't a single item I didn't enjoy or find some value in. I don't know how I lived this long without a hair wrap, the mule mug is beautiful, and the beauty drops are great on my face as well as my body in general. The necklace is so cute that I am going to find a way to make it work regardless of metal sensitivity, and the hair cream was so fragrant and light that it might make me a convert. I am estimating the value of this box to be around $176, which is great for a $50 box. I am very pleased with this month!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

The Kitsch palm hair wrap towel is $16.99 on Amazon, I bought one recently after missing it in a different box. I’ll have to check out the face oil.

My necklace also had a gold color but with a small feather as the pendant and tiny turquoise beading placed here and there. It was really cute and not something I would have picked out for myself.
Glad I had a Black Friday deal… but I wish I signed up for more than three months. I may re-sub if April spoilers call to me.
