Ministry of Magic Visitor T-Shirt - Estimated Value $15?

This t-shirt is so cute! I love the visitors badge detail in the front but..

..the back of this shirt is my very favorite!

I love a soft tee, and this one is 100% cotton and feels amazing, but it runs very small. This shirt is unisex, and for a small, it is very small, so next shipment, I think I will change my sizing to a medium. For reference, I usually wear a medium (or a size 6) in women’s shirts and a small in men’s.

I think I can pull this shirt off tucked in since it is pretty form-fitting around my hips. The back of the shirt looks great this way, almost reminding me of a band shirt.

Hogwarts House Travel Mat - Estimated Value $15 - 20?

I couldn’t wait to unfold this mat! It came folded like this, which is so handy for traveling. It includes a strip of velcro to keep it secure and a handle for easy transport.

Gryffindor Lion represent! I love how big the lion is on this 43x59 inch mat, but I have to say I thought that it would be made of a thicker fabric rather than a nearly transparent fleece since it is referred to as a mat rather than a blanket. Regardless, this will be awesome during summer when we spend the day at the park. I am also thrilled to report that folding this back into its portable form was foolproof.

Wizarding World Crate January 2019 - Luna Lovegood Sleep Mask Front Top Wizarding World Crate January 2019 - Luna Lovegood Sleep Mask Back Top

Luna Lovegood Sleep Mask - Estimated Value $10 - $15?

I have many sleep masks from other subscription boxes, but I don’t remember if any of them have an adjustable strap (smart!). I love the detail of this design, and the mix of textures between cotton and silk also add interest to this mask. It is pretty comfortable over my eyes, and it totally blocks all light out of view.

Wizarding World Crate January 2019 - Thestral Pin Close Front Wizarding World Crate January 2019 - Thestral Pin Open Back Wizarding World Crate January 2019 - Thestral Pin Open Front

Thestral Pin - $5 - $10?

This pin commemorates one of my favorite scenes in the series with Harry and Luna; Thestrals are one of my favorite creatures, too, so this is the perfect pin for my first box!

Wizarding World Crate January 2019 - Wizarding World Location Sticker Set Close Top Wizarding World Crate January 2019 - Wizarding World Location Sticker Set Open Top

Wizarding World Location Sticker Set - Estimated Value $12?

The final item in the box is a set of 6 glossy vinyl stickers. The locations on these stickers are from The Crimes of Grindelwald, and they are so vibrant! I love how each one is so different from the other, and I think it is a cool aspect of the movies to make into merch.

Verdict: This month’s J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World Crate celebrated the traveling in the Wizarding World throughout the series, and I love the array of products they sent out. These products helped me remember how magical the series is, and I love revisiting all of my favorite moments through these items from the books/movies. My favorite item this month was definitely the t-shirt, and although it was a bit small, I really love the graphics and soft fabric.

To Wrap Up:

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

This was my first box with them and I was glad I had bought it 50% off because that is all it was worth. If I had paid the full price (or near it) I would have felt incredibly disappointed.
The good: The stickers were great, I love the variety and art styles. So pretty! The pin was quite lovely too – being a thestral, the dark blue contrasted with the gold makes it very beautiful. The box print (the map) was a nice touch and I reversed it and now my partner uses it to store some papers in (he loves maps). The T-Shirt is solid: it is decent enough quality; the back is kinda cool, though the front is a little bit plain. But overall, it still wear it so I’m happy.

The bad: picnic mat is SO THIN – it just isn’t viable as a mat. As others have said, it will be ok as a summer blanket but because of this I wish it didn’t fold into a bag as the velcro and handle will just annoy me when I use it (though this is just personal preference). However, it is very poor quality, which is a pity because the print/design is actually quite cool. The sleeping mask/eye mask, while it looks cool is SO TIGHT. It is adjustable but even on the loosest setting it is so tight that wearing it for any extended length of time would give you a headache. Again, nice design, poorly made. My plan for this one is to sew an extra piece of material into the band part so I can actually use it.

Verdict: For 50% off, it was worth it, but at full price it isn’t. Two of what should have been the coolest items were poorly executed. My favourite things should not be the stickers and the box print! The pin was very cool, but again, just not enough to justify paying full price.

These stickers are the perfect size for my windscreen licence disk. I actually cannot wait until I have to renew my car license so that I can use these stickers to for that.

I too am disappointed, and this is the first time since subscribing when the box was first offered that I’ve considered unsubscribing to it. At first, the items were unique and of high quality. Some of the items could be purchased at Universal Studios, but I’ve noticed a real decline in the uniqueness and quality of the items. Plus, so many more Harry Potter items are available in places like Walmart and Barnes & Noble now. I’d also like T-shirts in different colors instead of blacks and dark grays.

I was very disappointment in the box, my t-shirt was small and it looks like a XS. My shirt was so thin that I had two holes in the armpits when I got it. I loved the “picnic mat” and will use that as a blanket, however its super thin but will be nice to use in the summer. The blanket was the only thing I liked in the box. I don’t know what I would do with stickers so totally disappointment there, the pin was nice but would never use. I cancelled my subscription, not worth the money!

This box to me was a let down. I love the pin but the rest seemed like filler and poor quality. I was sad but glad it was my last box. With the shipping delays and more and more disappointing content it was not worth it to me any longer. I will miss the pins though.

This was my first box, too, but I was disappointed. The t-shirt was so thin and mine was definitely not a soft material. I wouldn’t have paid more than $5 for it. And the “picnic mat” handle fell off. Not to mention that thing is so thin that I think we will be lucky if it holds up to more than one use. It’s a pity, because it’s beautiful, but so poorly made. The pin was the nicest thing in the box, but I cannot justify the money I spent for a nice pin! I have been wanting to try this one for a while but I was let down. In fairness, customer service was responsive and said they will send a replacement — in 2 to 4 weeks!
