Wantable is a styling service that sends clothing and accessories that fit your style. Wantable offers three different styling services: Style Edit, Fitness Edit, and Men’s Fitness Edit.

This review is of the Wantable Style Edit, $20 a month, box.

Wanatable Box Open

This box was sent to us at no cost to review (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Wantable box flaps with info

When you sign up, you fill out an extensive style profile. They ask what kind of items you would like to receive along with size, color, style, and price point preferences. Each category is ranked with a like, dislike, or love. There is also a space to leave notes for your stylist. By the end, your stylist should have a very good idea of what you like and don’t like.

Wantable inside packaging

Each edit includes 5-7 clothing and accessories items picked for you by your stylist using your style profile. You have 5 days to try everything on and to send what you don’t want to purchase back in the included prepaid envelope. My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Wantable Style Edit may be completely different!

Wantable Style Edit February 2019 Review

My stylist was able to include 4 of my requested items plus a few other things she thought would fit well with my current wardrobe. Let's see what she sent!

info packet front info packet contents

Wantable recently rebranded and updated their look. They refreshed the logo design and added this little sleeve to hold the invoice, return bag, and any extra info. This month they also included some information about the Fitness Edit side of their service.

invoice front stylist note

The info booklet includes a note from your stylist and the invoice. This month, Josee sent me 6 clothing items and 1 accessory.

invoice

And here’s my invoice. If I were to keep the entire box, the $441 total would be discounted $108.20 (20% off + $20 styling fee deducted) for a total of $332.80. With this discount, each item would cost an average of $47.54.

pre paid return bag

Wantable also includes a prepaid return envelope to send back any items I don’t want to keep.

thermal front Thermal back thermal sleeves too long thermal embroidery detail

Free People Fairisle Thermal in Charcoal, M - Retail Value $68 (Return)

This is an item I requested because I loved the embroidery and thermal style. The 60% cotton/40% modal ribbed fabric is super comfortable and I love that there are thumb holes and a longer hem. Overall this top just felt out of proportion; I don't think the shoulder seams were actually supposed to be that low and the sleeves were about 6" too long.

sangria tunic front Sangria Tunic back sangria tunic detail

Metric Long Sleeve Raglan Pullover in Sangria, M - Retail Value $68 (Return)

Now this is cute! The color is beautiful and the viscose/poly/nylon material is thick and plush. I think it looks super cute paired with leggings and my over-the-knee boots. But, I can tell that it is just too warm for me. I felt hot after a couple of minutes while trying it on, so I know it would probably end up in my heavy sweater stack that it never really gets cold enough for here.

Heather Jeans front Heather Jeans back Heather Jeans pocket detail Heather Jeans waistband

Articles of Society Heather High Rise in Mona, 28 - Retail Value $66 (Return)

I love that I've found several pairs of amazing jeans through Wantable and I wanted to add these to my collection too. But, I talked myself down since they are very similar to a pair I already have. I do really like the high waist and thick, soft denim. There is slight distressing in the color but no fraying or holes. If you like more of an ankle length jean, this might be a good pair for you.

W. by Wantable Criss Cross Back Detail Woven Top in Black, M - Retail Value $48 (Return)

Ugh! I hate when I can't even get an item on to try. I can tell this shirt is going to be tight before I even get my shoulders in and, since there's no stretch, I don't want to get stuck. Along with the small sizing, I'm not crazy about how wonky the seams and stitching look. I like the idea of this style of tee, but I don't think it looks like it should cost $48.

Jasmine Blouse front Jasmine Blouse back Jasmine Blouse sleeve detail Jasmine Blouse button

Kut from the Kloth Jasmine Blouse in White, M - Retail Value $68 (Keep)

Now this top, I love. And I knew I would, so I requested it. It's 100% polyester, like the previous black top, but feels more luxe and has the slightest bit of stretch. The crisp white fabric has a finish that reminds me of silk crepe. It is sheer, so I layer a white or nude tank under it depending on the look I want. The sleeves are long enough to wear them full length but I'll most likely wear it cuffed. The mother of pearl buttons and mandarin collar are nice details.

Vigoss Faux Leather Jacket w/ Rib Inserts in Brown, M - Retail Value $88 (Keep)

Throwing on a snazzy jacket always makes me feel more put together, which is why I requested this cool brown faux leather one from the Stream. I like that it can be worn zipped up for a structured look or unzipped for a more casual feel. The big collar definitely makes a statement and makes this jacket feel edgier than ones with basic lapels. The faux leather is 100% PU and the silky lining and ribbed fabric are made of polyester. The ribbed inserts are genius, by the way, since they give so much stretch to areas that need to move.

outfit

Here is the outfit my stylist suggested. It includes the Articles of Society jeans, Kut from the Kloth top, and Vigoss Faux Leather Jacket.

Black velvet pouch Love Cuff out of pouch love cuff front Love cuff back Love Cuff worn

W. by Wantable Inspiration Cuff "Love" in Gold - Retail Value $35 (Return)

I really like minimal cuffs, so this is a great pick from my stylist. I have a cuff almost exactly like it, so I just don't need it right now.

The Verdict: My stylist did a really nice job of selecting items for my Wantable Style Edit this month! She was able to include four of my Stream picks, which is awesome! There were a couple of fit issues with my items, but everything was my style. Since I’m keeping 2 items, I don’t receive the 20% discount, but my $20 styling fee will be applied to my purchase. So the total for the 2 items is $136. For $20 a month (which also includes free shipping and returns), Wantable Style Edit is a fun and convenient way for me to shop for clothes.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This styling fee for this box is $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $441. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, and if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. As long as I keep at least 1 item, my $20 styling fee is applied to my purchase.

That first top is adorable and while the sleeves were to long for you I think the shoulder seams were where they needed to be because of the “embroidery”?
