Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - Info Card Front

Here is the info sheet detailing the products included in this box.

Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - Etude House Natural Konjac Cleansing Puff PackedPink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - Etude House Natural Konjac Cleansing Puff Unpacked

Etude House Natural Konjac Cleansing Puff – Retail Value $4

I haven’t used a Konjac sponge in a while and I had forgotten how much I love them! They really help in making me feel like I have effectively cleansed my face, but when wet they are the most gentle sponge- this one, at least, is totally safe for sensitive skin. I also like using these when I am washing off clay face masks!

Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - A’Pieu Naked Cleansing Balm FrontPink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - A’Pieu Naked Cleansing Balm Open

A’Pieu Naked Cleansing Balm, 1.59 oz – Retail Value $12

I love a good cleansing balm and this is no exception- it is absolutely lush. To use I take a little bit and massage it into dry skin, and then add water which causes it to emulsify and rinse away the makeup and dirt of the day. Cleansing balms are perfect as a first cleanse in a two-step cleansing routine, as they are typically very gentle and don’t strip your skin.

Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - Peripera Milk Wash Cleansing Foam Front

Peripera Milk Wash Cleansing Foam #2, 3.4 oz – Retail Value $11

The second step in our two-step routine from Pink Seoul is a face wash that is made with exfoliating AHA's and witch hazel to remove impurities and excess oil while keeping skin soft. Though this has AHA’s, I found it to still be gentle on my skin.

Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - A’Pieu Madecassoside Sun Cream Box

Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - A’Pieu Madecassoside Sun Cream Open

A’Pieu Madecassoside Sun Cream, 1.41 oz – Retail Value $14.95

This was the product I was most excited about when I saw it in the box- the madecassoside line from A’Pieu has been really popular on Instagram, and I was excited to try it out! Madecassoside is an ingredient found in Centella Asiatica, which is known for its skin soothing properties. Along with being 40% Centella Asiatica, this has SPF 39 protection, and it absorbed into my skin like a regular moisturizer- no greasy, heavy, sunscreen feeling! This is a big winner, and I will probably repurchase it in the future.

Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - Treeannsea Desert Rose Serum BoxPink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - Treeannsea Desert Rose Serum Open

Treeannsea Desert Rose Serum, 1 oz – Retail Value $35

This serum is packed with great skin ingredients like desert rose extract, rose water, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and snail secretion filtrate. It absorbed easily into my skin, improving my moisture levels without increasing the oil production on my skin. I love finding discoveries like this in my Pink Seoul boxes- if this serum was from a Western brand, this ingredients list would mean it would cost at least double.

Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - Goodal Water Full Mask in Firming

Goodal Water Full Mask in Firming – Listed Value $2

This sheet mask is so calming to look at – just look at that ocean! I found it to be hydrating but nothing too fancy. For the price tag, a solid mask.

Pink Seoul Plus Box February 2019 - The Saem Bamboo Natural Mask Sheet

The Saem Bamboo Natural Mask Sheet – Estimated Value $3

I have liked a lot of The Saem products I have tried, but this mask has a strong scent that I wasn’t really down with. If you’re sensitive to scents, definitely avoid this one. The bamboo extract was soothing to my skin, but I wouldn’t reach for this mask again.

The Verdict: I seriously look forward to my PinkSeoul Plus box so much! I love that I get a full skincare routine with enough time between boxes to actually use them. When I take a look at my skincare routines over the past few months, I am consistently using the majority of the products I receive in this box, and the same can’t be said for some other skincare boxes. I really appreciated getting a full two-step cleansing routine and a high-quality serum this month, too. This box promises a value of at least $80, and this month they just met that with a total estimated value of $81.95

“When I take a look at my skincare routines over the past few months, I am consistently using the majority of the products I receive in this box, and the same can’t be said for some other skincare boxes.”….. While I don’t subscribe to this box, I do subscribe to a few of the other k-beauty boxes (bomibox, beateque beauty box) which have very similar products with each other and I also find that when I look back over my beauty routine, I have incorporated far more of the k-beauty products than beauty products from any of my other subscriptions.
PS – LOVE LOVE LOVE your reviews. ALL of them. 😙 Your reviews have gotten me to purchase more subscriptions than any of the other reviewers combined.

This looks like a great box. I’ve thought about PinkSeoul for a while. I am wondering what makes the PinkSeoul Plus box different that it is recommended for ages 35+?

I was subbed to both the regular box and the Plus box at the same time for a while, and in a nutshell, while both boxes will have some overlap of products, the products that are only in the Plus box tend to have a higher value to them. I never really felt like the products in the Plus box seemed targeted to more “mature” skin though. But regardless, I always felt that both boxes provided great products in them, and I loved subbing to both. 🙂

Yes, that is what makes it different. I’m not sure if there is any other differences but I know the “plus” box is for 35+.

I agree, great review! I’m so overstocked on skincare and most of my February boxes aren’t even in yet! I’ll definitely add A’Pieu Madecassoside Sun Cream to my buy list. I’ve enjoyed their products before and I’m still in the hunt for a really good SPF for my oily/normal skin. I hate the feeling of SPFs on my face so I’ve mainly been using powder formulas but I know they aren’t the best in coverage. My skin also responds really well to Centella Asiatica but my wallet hates Dr. Jart prices 😉

I use to get this box and several other Korean boxes. This one was my favorite cause they give you a whole skin care routine. I stopped since I was getting over loaded on product.
Once I get to a reasonable amount of product then I will start again. Everything I received from them was top notch product. I am jealous of the sunscreen!

Great review! SPF 39 is a new one for me, but at least it gives the sense they are testing their products and being honest!
