February 2019 "Your Perfect Match" Review

This month I received four high-end brushes for the face. All of these brushes are from the Creator Series or the Artist Series and have precision synthetic and natural bristles. I really like the matte black handles! Let’s see what I got:

The theme this month is "Your Perfect Match".

The info card comes with a photo and short description of how you can use each brush. Many brushes can be used for many different things, so you can make them work best for you.

M335 Chubby Buffer - Retail Value $8

First up is this stubby, round brush with densely-packed synthetic bristles. The description says it can be used for concealer or cream contour but I think it could be used for almost anything. Above, I've used to apply and blend out my concealer. I like that I can get into tight areas of my face, like in the corners of my eyes and around my nose. But, I still feel the need to go over it with my Beauty Blender after to soak up extra product and really press it into my skin.

M462 Duo Powder Dome - Retail Value $11

This brush is perfect for sweeping off setting powder or any fall out from eyeshadow application. The loose, feathery synthetic bristles are dome-shaped to prevent harsh lines. I think it's nice to have a loose powder brush like this to use alongside my big, dense brush for when I need a lighter touch.

M104 Angle Blush - Retail Value $6

The small, angled shape if this brush is not my favorite for blush application. I often find that I get too much product in one place. But, I tried it anyway and found that it works well with light blush shades that I need to build up. The natural bristles are super soft and would also be perfect for blending out contour.

M509 Deluxe Pointed Blender - Retail Value $11

Last month, MorpheMe sent a similarly-shaped highlighter brush. This one is a bit longer and bigger with natural bristles that seem to pick up more product. I actually like the larger size since it's more feathery and diffuses highlighter in a more subtle way. I'm noticing some shedding but hopefully, that will stop after some use.

Verdict: MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club sent four professional-level brushes that have a total retail value of $36. I'm really happy with the brushes included this month. The quality is great for such an affordable price and I like that they can all be used for multiple things. My favorite is the Deluxe Pointed Blender since it helps me achieve a nice, subtle glow with my highlighter. If you're worried about receiving too many similar brushes, remember that you can log onto your account and swap or skip a month anytime!

Tiffany found out about subscription boxes from a friend who followed MSA. The curiosity started with mystery beauty boxes and grew into an addiction from there. Beauty, clothes, home...she loves the sight of a subscription box in the mail.

My fellow Galentines:

Here is the link that actually works in order to get the free brushes.

https://liveglam.com/free-brush/?ref=mysubscriptionaddiction

At least I hope that works. You may have to cooy and paste it. Maybe @Liz will see this and fix it properly. But I’m sure she is super busy with our Galentines celebration!

I just got the link from a chat with them. The original link shows that you’re getting the MSA offer when you first click in it but does not let you see or choose from the free brushes. I kept trying earlier but was too afraid to give them my payment info without seeing for sure I would actually get the bonus items. Thank goodness I checked with their customer service first. I had to justify adding another yet subscription box and the freebies were my only justification! 😄😄😄

Happy Galentines Day everyone!!!
❤️💘💙💖💛
