Each tea comes in a resealable pouch that has the tea description printed on the outside. The pouch shows the specific steeping instructions for each tea blend, and it includes mug vs teapot instructions for each blend.

Black Tea Blackened Heart, 20g- Buy 85g for $18.88
I always enjoy fermented tea because they taste really complex. This one may look cute, but don't be fooled. It has flavors of leather and old books! This blend also has rose petals, though they add more visually than flavorwise. This smokey brew is good on its own, but I also loved it with raw sugar and just a splash of almond milk.
Black Tea Mexican Hot Chocolate, 20g- Buy 85g for $16.91
I was excited to try this tea because I love spicy hot chocolate! This tea has a ton of spice in it, such as ginger, chili pepper flakes, and cinnamon! It also has little chocolate bits that melt and give it a creamy feel, especially when blended with sweetened almond milk. Yum!
Fruit Tea Tart Tang, 20g- Buy 85g for $17.12
Ya'll know I love a fruity pink tea! This one is so tart and wonderful, especially with a lemon slice and some agave. It is a blend of literal chunks of lemon rind, apples, and hibiscus flowers. I enjoyed it both iced and hot.
Black Tea Melted Chocolate, 20g- Buy 85g for $17.12
This month is a little heavy on the chocolate for my taste, but this tea was really fascinating because it also had white tea buds. The base of this blend is a fermented tea, so instead of a sweet dessert sort of chocolate, this one is super earthy. You can actually see the little tea buds open if you peek inside the filter after brewing. As usual, I added almond milk and raw sugar!
Organic Black Tea Assam-azing, 20g- Buy 85g for $10.67
This is probably the most "me" tea in the batch this month. I like my teas to taste really complex, but smooth and (admittedly) a little weird. It has malty notes but also a little leather. It also feels somehow floral, though that is faint. I loved it alone but also with some agave syrup.
Verdict: February's Field to Cup was great as usual! I wasn't sure I would enjoy so much chocolate, but this sub excels at surprising me. I liked both chocolate blends much more than I thought I would, and of course, I loved the tart fruit tea. The fermented teas were also delicious and I loved the cute heart shaped one, especially for Valentine's Day. If you love getting really unique and hard to find rare teas with thoughtful and knowledgeable curation, you will really love this sub. I have yet to have a lackluster month!
