Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. Recently, Fabletics introduced a plus size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $19.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month.You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

The Cost: $49.95 a month. This price goes towards the cost of the outfits curated for you. The cost of outfits varies, but you’ll only be charged for what you choose to actually buy. If you want, you can choose to skip the month, and you won’t be charged. If you don’t spend your $49.95 nor choose to skip, Fabletics will charge you the $49.95 and just save it as store credit for you to use later.
The Products: High-quality, on-trend athletic clothing curated to fit your size, style, and needs. Think leggings, tops, shorts, and outerwear for yoga, running, and all kinds of other workouts. Fabletics is targeted towards women, primarily, but they do offer workout clothes for men, too!

Zoe Zip-UP High Support Sports Bra in Black, Size 3x—Retail Value $64.95, VIP Price $49.95, Circuit Outfit Combo Price $59.95
I opted to get an entire pre-selected outfit this month. I appreciate the basic, dark color combination with this set titled Circuit—it is incredibly versatile! I have this same sports bra in various colors and prints; I recently got it in a purple leopard print style for my October Fabletics review. I love this style because it is fashionable, but also incredibly supportive and comfortable. For a bodacious babe with a buxom chest like me, this hasn’t failed me on the treadmill once. They ought to call this bra “old faithful!” I am excited to now have this sports bra in black because it will go with everything!

Not only did I get a similar sports bra from past reviews, but I did the same with the leggings in this set. In my July Fabletics review, I got the same killer leggings in black. I can’t help it though—these may be the best leggings from Fabletics! Somehow they managed to make workout gear that is, dare I say it—chic! I love the mesh panels on these pants and HELLO—the pockets are life! You can slip your smartphone in it perfectly and listen to your playlist blissfully on the elliptical! The fabric is that stretchy, yet breathable and has a compression quality to them. They are immensely comfortable! My mom always said if you find a clothing piece you like to stock up on it in every color; this review being proof I do listen to you, mom!
Verdict: As always, I am loving my Fabletics selections! I am consistently impressed with their quality products. I have two gripes: my first is that their website can be hard to navigate and misleading in terms of what pieces are actually available. My other grievance is a familiar one: the selection for plus size items. I am glad that Fabletics branched out into plus size options, but I am eager to find a full range where I can get the same styles my thinner peers can. Give us bodacious babes the full-size range we desire, please and thanks!
