EBY Underwear Subscription February 2019 Review

When you sign up for EBY, you'll receive a free bonus pair with your first order. If you want to see how easy the process is, check out my review from December! My preferences for this subscription are "briefs and cheekies" (no thongs for me, thanks) and "mixed" (meaning solids as well as prints) in size large.

Their packaging has changed since last year and comes more simply in a flat cardboard envelope instead of a box.

The included card tells a different woman's story each month. This one features Blanca, one of the Nicaraguan women who received a loan of $200 to help her start her own woodworking business.

The flipside tells us a little more about Lilia who is a native of Puerto Rico and also the Film Director behind the EBY documentary videos.

My new pair of undies came folded and in a small plastic package.

EBY Dark Palm Print Brief Undies, size large

EBY recently sent an email announcing their new high waisted undies and I was hoping the pair I received this month would be those. Instead, I received a pair of their briefs in really cool jungle-like pattern filled with palm leaves and flowers. Now that I am poking around the site, it seems that perhaps the high waisted panty is only available to purchase separately for $18/pair.

The briefs have a little more coverage on the back than the "cheeky" style I got last month, but fit me just as nicely (just a tad more modestly).

I love the raw cut of these undies that don't add any bulk to the edge but also don't have a chance of fraying.

They're made (sustainably) in Sri Lanka out of 85% polyamide and 15% elastane and my favorite part is that they don't add a tag to include this info that could irritate my skin, but just print it on the back of the inside.

The gusset remains 100% cotton which is a good thing to look for when shopping for undies.

Verdict: My latest pair of EBY underwear is just as comfy as the last in a bold print that's super fun and sustainably made while it helps women out with small loans to jumpstart their business. Into it!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You may not get the same pairs I got based on preferences, but your first box with the free pair will ship as soon as you sign up.

Value Breakdown: At $16.00 for this box, you're paying $16.00 per pair but will also be helping disadvantaged women get loans and build a business.

I could see panty-lines through my workout leggings pretty bad, so naturally, I go to cancel my trial.
Didn’t see anywhere online where I could cancel (it makes you email), so I deleted my debit card from my profile.

Weeks later, I was charged and my debit card was magically back in my profile.
Customer service ignored my request for a refund by saying I could try a different style or size. Ok?? Now they’re saying I have to wait for my package to arrive and to refuse it to get my refund. Keep in mind, they’re saying it’s been processed and shipped, yet I haven’t even received one single email about this order I was charged for.
Stay away from this company unless you want to be continually charged even after you remove your card. It’s difficult to cancel and customer service agents are clearly trained to be evasive and to try to get you to stay with them, no matter *how* blatantly you say you just want to cancel. Zero stars.

Please let me know as well!! I’ve been experiencing the same thing and it’s frustrating. No one gets back to me and all of the sudden my password doesn’t work. They say 3 business days to get back but nothing. Customer service is horrible!

I wish this sub was reasonably priced. I absolutely love the cause (providing small business loans to empower women). And I love underwear! Disappointing!
