Leopard Print House Dress - Retail Value Unavailable

Nicole and her staff at CHC Vintage are fully aware of my leopard lifestyle I lead. All leopard print, all the time; it is a neutral for goodness sake! They have enabled my obsession by obliging me with another leopard print number. This dress is meant to be a nightgown or loungewear but could be easily worn outside the home. It is incredibly roomy and long. It is super comfortable; but in retrospect, I do think it could benefit from a belt to define the waist bit more. The fabric is made from a stretchy polyester blend. It has a little bow detail at the top along with a front zipper.  I paired this dress along with my favorite faux leather biker jacket and boots. You just cannot go wrong with leopard print or biker jackets as far as I am concerned-- and this ensemble is proof! I am excited to use this piece as a cover-up at the beach or pool this summer. I might even wear it on a long flight since it is so comfy! Style this in warmer weather with gold accessories and shoes, big cat-eye sunglasses, and a floppy beach hat to keep your face safe in the sweltering sun!

Verdict: CHC Vintage is still a subscription box I am eager to unbox. Why? Nicole and her staff take so much time and effort to create a personalized and thoughtful subscription box! I sound like a broken record, but it truly feels like you are getting a care package from a friend each month instead of a business. This is also an invaluable service for any busy, bodacious babe that loves plus size vintage clothing, but doesn’t always have the time to look in the bins or hit up estate sales. CHC does the work for you---and does it rather well! I can’t suggest their service enough!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? CHC Vintage curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. It is a vintage clothing service, so there rarely are duplicates of pieces. CHC offers an extremely personalized service. Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $35 for one grunge style vintage dress with free shipping and returns.

Cute dress, although those 3 darker spots in the front are unfortunate. I would feel like people thought I peed my dress. LOL

Jane, they aren’t made in house. I think you have this mistaken with another box. All the items CHC provides are found at flea markets, estate sales, thrift stores, etc from what I gather. If you look at previous reviews and the notes CHC provides me they will sometimes even talk about the brands featured.

Yes, they surprise me by the pieces they find in my size! It can be brutal finding quality vintage plus size for sure, but it can be done!

Alexis

Wow! Love that dress on you, how perfect!

Amy

It’s too big. A size smaller would be more flattering.

Amy, I have actually been wearing it lately all weekend. It is so comfy. I would probably prefer a shorter length, but I actually dig it! It has been my go to lounge and chill ensemble. I add a belt if I leave the house. And a bra. Hahaha.

Girl, how are you making a Mrs. Roper housedress look good? You have magic.

Nicole Rieder

Thank you, Ashlea! I try!

Their pieces aren’t made in house. They shop thrift and consignment shops for their pieces

Vintage just means at least twenty years old. So as long as it’s no later than 1999, it’s vintage.

I think this sub does a beautiful job, they always find the most fitting pieces for all of you girls’s different styles. These are some of my favorite reviews to read. I’ve been saving for one of the CHC subs.

Jessica, it is well worth it! They send some very unique items!

I assume the vintage means used clothes not new? No?

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole Rieder

Vintage pieces are twenty years and up. So, this could be from nearly 2000 and be considered vintage… which makes me feel old since I graduated that year. Bahahhahaha

monah

Why do you say the pieces are new, made in house? They advertise their pieces to be from specific era’s and I’ve never seen anything to contradict this.

Jessica

It would Make me sad if this review got a bad rap for no reason. I’m pretty sure she’s referring to anna’s recent review with the beatles t-shirt. And No Anna never said that they make their own pieces, but that the shirt seemed to be newer made and not true vintage, (which isn’t common for this sub at all) and it doesn’t mean that they didn’t find it in a thrift store or that they made it themselves. And the shirt was a perfect fit for Her BTW, and picked out personally for her based on a pretty unique style. I think this sub is a win and Jane sounds like she just wants to be negative. Some people just can’t help but whine and cry.

Are you thinking of Unique Vintage, perhaps?

Jennyjenny

Totally, she’s thinking of the unique vintage dress of the month which Ragan writes the reviews for. Those are new but vintage inspired. I love this sub.

katie

I’m sure she is.
