Splendies Women's Underwear Subscription January 2019 Review

Splendies Red Lace Undies, size large - Listed Retail Value $12.00

This month's Splendies collection has a clear Valentine's Day vibe. Even though it's still January, because of the ship date, they were smart and included the red and pink hues in this months delivery to be ready for February 14th. The first pair is a tomato-red pair of undies with a red and white lace front and solid red back. The red lace has a floral pattern which adds another layer of femininity to it. The fabric is super soft and has a composition of 95% rayon and 5% spandex. These were a little tight in the waist and around the legs but were still wearable. I just have more comfortably-sized undies I would turn to first.

Miss Vickie's Intimates Heart Thong, size large - Listed Retail Value $12.00

This thong continues the Valentine's Day theme with a cute heart print, white lace trim around the legs, and wide white lace waistband. The front is topped off with a maroon red bow to add to the sweetness. These actually fit me the best out of the three and didn't feel too tight at all. They're rather comfortable for being a thong!

Splendies Eiffel Tower Lace Back Undies, size large - Listed Retail Value $12.00

I'm not too crazy about the French "Je T'aime" print, but I am really loving the full lace back of these. The print fabric is a soft rayon/spandex blend with clouds, trees with hearts for leaves, and the Eiffel Tower topped with a big red bow (accented in white lace trim). Meanwhile, the back is a delicate pink lace the really shows off the assets. I'd be too scared too put these through the washer and dryer for fear it'd get torn apart. These are also a litttttle on the snug side for me. Perhaps I am just growing out of the size large they offer?

The Verdict: Splendies had a strong theme as usual with the three pairs of V-Day heavy colors and prints. The $13.99 price is good for three pairs seeing as though each one is marked at $12.00 retail. If you like to rotate your undies often and are tickled by new surprises in cuts and prints, this is a great subscription for you!

Halo

Ok,
I take it back: MSRP is definitely inflated! On their best day these undies wouldn’t sell for more than 6 dollars….and that would be a stretch.

Halo

I love this sub!
Initially bought as a gift and then had it gifted to me. LOVE!
Zoe is spot on; the sizing can be a bit iffy but I haven’t had anything overly big or small.
I’d say the undies are on par with Target~you definitely aren’t getting Hanky Panky or Cosabella. My enjoyment comes with 3 new ‘surprise’ undies each month. Also, enjoy the fact that they don’t inflate their value. My current fav👍😸

I love this subscription. The price point for 3 new pairs a month is unbeatable. Although they are made in China, I believe the quality is 100% there. The sizing can be hit or miss but 2 out of 3 perfect fits a month is nothing to complain about for me. I work retail selling lingerie and we stock extremely similar styles/designs – with the same materials and country of origin – at much higher markups from recognizeable name brands.

The quality looks questionable to me, and I’m not super picky about underwear. Idk.

I’m not thrilled about the name marking and $3 charge for sizes either. That makes me side-eye hard when companies make people feel separate from other people with name and cost. These underwear do not look super high quality and surely the profit margin is enough to have one name, one price.
