My Meraki Box is (IMO) an amazing monthly subscription box by Wristicuffs, an indie jewelry company offering several lines of accessories. Meraki is a Greek word meaning “To do something with soul, creativity, or love; when you leave a piece of yourself in your work.”

Thank You Gift: Gourmet Butter & Cream Fudge – Estimated Value ~$4.40 USD ($6.00 CAD)

This month’s special extra is artisanal fudge from FudgeFix in  Moose Jaw, SK. I received the “Death by Chocolate Moose” flavor and let me tell you – it was everything I wanted in a fudge! I prefer getting another Wristicuffs piece as the special extra, but this was a nice holiday treat. I’m glad it arrived in December and before my Keto resolution of 2019!

Mixed Gemstone Necklace

This necklace is perfect! It sparkles, is a friendly mix of colors that will go with many different pallets, has some asymmetrical character, and is both delicate enough to wear with jeans and a solid T-shirt and fancy enough to stand out against an LBD! Although everyone received a necklace in their box this month, there was significant variation with them – and might have included any mix of amethyst, citrine, labradorite, garnet, green amethyst, moonstone, beer quartz, or mother of pearl. As you can see, the necklace the I received contained amethyst and green amethyst. The pendant is about 1.5” long and about 0.5” wide and is on a 16” thin sterling silver chain. The stones themselves are also set in solid sterling silver. The insert says that every necklace is different – I would certainly love to see what others have received!

Poinsettia Bracelet

This beaded single stretch bracelet is customized to fit your wrist perfectly and is comprised mainly of smokey quartz beads accented with a couple of sterling silver bezel-set mixed gemstone charms, including your color choice of the month. My bracelet again features an amethyst stone (and I tend to love purples, which is why I selected that as my stone choice this month) and what I believe to be a moonstone charm. This bracelet is comfortable, casual, and the smokey quartz is a perfect complement to dark denim and brown cowboy ankle boots, a staple look in my wardrobe!

Oulu Earrings

These sterling silver post earrings feature 3 stones – amethyst, blue topaz, and peridot. They are super light and comfortable to wear, even with an almost 2” length!

And here I am wearing the necklace and the earrings. Even in my late night, no-makeup state you can see how lovely these pieces are!

Verdict: This box continues to deliver on value, style, quality, and charm. The variety keeps me engaged from month to month. The packaging makes it feel like a special treat – and I love that I get to pick something every month (a color, a style, a material, whatever!) that tailors the box to my preferences. The customer service has been great, the regularity of the shipping is refreshing – it’s a fabulous box that I’d recommend gifting to that special person in your life.

Since these are all exclusive items, and nothing on their website currently is an apple to apple comparison, I'm going to just say that given the going rate of their pieces I think this is a fantastic value. This box costs $59.99 and I received 3 jewelry pieces – making each piece $20, not including the special extra fudge!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, this box ships on the first of every month.

Value Breakdown: At $59.99 for this box, you’re paying $19.99 per piece.

I ordered the November box and shipping was quick. The pendant and bracelet were very pretty, but the earring stones were too mismatched to wear. I let Leanne know and she said via email on Dec 11 she was sending replacements that week. I’ve emailed several times since then and emailed a picture, with no response. I even offered to accept the December earrings, if she was out of the November stones. It has been a month since her email, so I’m not holding my breath. I guess my advice is buyer beware.

I’ve been eyeing this sub for a while; seriously regretting not signing up for this December box. Those are gorgeous. Love a purple /green combo.

I like that the pieces coordinate, but aren’t too “matchy” so that you can more easily find other pieces to wear them with, too.

Colette

Totally agree!! And I love that from month to month there are a lot of mix and match options.

Green amethyst is technically called Prasiolite if you wanted to find more pieces using it they could be under that. Also the stone drop on the bracelet looks more like a light labradorite in the pics, moonstone is usually very white with a blue/purple flash

Colette

Thanks! I’m not a stone expert so I definitely appreciate feedback on my pieces!

Norelle

Is the bottom stone on the necklace assymmetrical? It kind of bothers me – it doesn’t look quite assymmetrical enough to be intentional. :-/

Colette

Yes it is, but I believe it to be intentional and honestly I like the variety and texture that the asymmetric shape adds to this piece.
