Luxury Wellness Rudolph Cranberry Joy Bath Bomb

Oof. I was excited about this cute little Rudolph bath bomb, and though I knew the scent was cranberry I wasn't expecting the overall bath to be so red. When I sent a picture to my friend her response was "Carrie, is that you?" The bubble that popped on the face of Rudolph to look like a bullet hole didn't really help matters, either. The cranberry scent was nice, though!

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Mod Bath & Body Frosted Cranberry Whipped Soap Front

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Mod Bath & Body Frosted Cranberry Whipped Soap Open

Mod Bath & Body Frosted Cranberry Whipped Soap, 2 oz – Estimated Value $4 (buy an 8 oz version in a different scent here)

I love whipped soaps! I wish I had discovered them a lot sooner, but at least 2018 graced me with their luscious creations. This scent was a Lavish exclusive that smelled just like juicy, tart cranberries, and I love how moisturizing this was on my skin while still getting me clean. And look at that texture!

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Be Dazzled Bath Candy Cane Blitz Bubble Bar Front

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Be Dazzled Bath Candy Cane Blitz Bubble Bar Back

Be Dazzled Bath Candy Cane Blitz Bubble Bar – Estimated Value $7 (based on other bubble bars found here)

This festive bubble bar is another Lavish exclusive that is scented with vanilla, peppermint, and huckleberry. I love me some peppermint, and I thought this sparkly candy cane was pretty to look at. I used half of the candy cane for my bath, but I think the full candy cane would have been preferable to get the number of bubbles I like in my bathtub.

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Oily Blends Champagne Bath Salts

Oily Blends Champagne Bath Salts – Retail Value $19.99

These are some pricey bath salts! They're a blend of Epsom salts, dried herbs, and oils, and this bad boy smells deliciously like champagne! This bottle is enough for about five uses, and I loved the refreshing scent that didn’t smell overpoweringly like alcohol.

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Dose Bath Co. Gum Drops Jelly Soap 1

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Dose Bath Co. Gum Drops Jelly Soap 2

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Dose Bath Co. Gum Drops Jelly Soap 3

Dose Bath Co. Gum Drops Jelly Soap, 3.5 oz – Retail Value $12

How neat are these bad boys! I am in love with the texture of these baby gumdrop-shaped soaps, and the jelly feeling is such a fun way to suds up. They smell like a mix of gummy bears and sour gummy worms with notes of lime, neroli, and frankincense.

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Fo Shizzle My Fizzle Bright Lights Bath Bomb in Comfort 1

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Fo Shizzle My Fizzle Bright Lights Bath Bomb in Comfort 2

Lavish Bath Box December 2018 - Fo Shizzle My Fizzle Bright Lights Bath Bomb in Comfort 3

Fo Shizzle My Fizzle Bright Lights Bath Bomb in Comfort – Estimated Value $6.75

This fun Christmas light shaped bath bomb is scented just like apple pie! I loved the pretty blues of this bath bomb, and it foamed up so nicely once it came in contact with water.

The Verdict: Lavish Bath Box continues to be one of the best-curated subscription boxes out there, and I cannot recommend it enough if you love bath products! This month’s box was a little more interesting than usual thanks to our friend Rudolph, but I don’t think its possible to have a bad time when you get a baby bottle of Champagne bath salts. While the retail value is never crazy (this month I calculated an estimated value of $49.72 for everything except the Rudolph bath bomb), the exclusive products and stellar curation always add extra value that makes this box a real treat to open and enjoy. Another aspect I really enjoy is being exposed to the different indie bath companies- now instead of stocking up for the year during the annual BOGO sale at Lush, I get fun, fresh bath products every month.

I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

I would love to see a “battle of the bath boxes” .

Too expensive for my liking for bath products. I’m also not keen on products that change the color of my bath water so intensely. That’s too much dye. Can’t do bubble baths either. Oh well.

I miss the forums and I miss you! Also, I missed out on the Lush BOGO sale and so now am in dire need of bath bombs. You review a ton of bath boxes and seem to love them as much as I do. Where should I look for great bath bombs other than my local mall?

Awhh, Jennifer you’re so sweet! I would check out bath sorbet and soothing sloth bath company, and then go from there!

I LOVED this bath box! My candy cane was shipped broken with a notice that they were going to replace it. Yeah, I want a Christmas candy cane in January LOL.

I was reading the label on a new brand’s bath bomb, and the directions were different and really made sense. They said ” Drop bomb into tub full of water, then enjoy your bath.
I think the intent is to dilute the coloring in the bombs more so it’s not a blood bath, LOL.

I loved Rudolph too, though. Kept thinking ” It’s red for Christmas, it’s Cranberry”. Got me through the shocking color emitting from a little Rudolph. Thanks for a fun review.

Bath Bevy is knocking it out of the park. Hope you are still getting it!! I subscribed because of your reviews.
