Dia Active January 2019 - Box Review Front

Dia Active is an activewear styling service that caters to women plus sizes 14 and up. Upon enrolling with Dia Active, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, style, price range, and what activities and/or sports I partake in. For $20 a Dia Active stylist selects five curated pieces sent directly to me! I am able to try them on at the convenience of my own home and only pay for pieces I decide to keep! The $20 styling fee is applied to whatever I do keep, but if I keep the entire box 25% is taken off as well!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia Active may be entirely different than mine!

Dia & Co. Active Box January Review

Dia Active January 2019 - Note Front

This note from my stylist (Janet) was included. She explains why she picked some of the items she chose for me.

Dia Active January 2019 - Invoice Front

Also included was this invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, and color of each item she selected for me. This box was complimentary, so the prices have been removed, but I listed the retail value below next to each item. If the prices were on the invoice, it would also show the total for all five items, the $20 credit for the styling fee, and the 25% discount if I decide to keep all five items.

Dia Active January 2019 - Gladiolus Tee With Mesh Varsity Stripes Front Dia Active January 2019 - Gladiolus Tee With Mesh Varsity Stripes Side

Gladiolus Tee With Mesh Varsity Stripes by Marc NY – Cost to Keep $38

This cotton blend tee is super cool!  It is not my favorite color, but I love love LOVE the mesh sleeve detail!  I haven’t seen a tee like this before. It’s so sporty and different! It’s also comfortable, and I always love natural fibers in my workout tops.

Dia Active January 2019 - Cooper Capri Tights by Rsport Side

Cooper Capri Tights by Rsport – Cost to Keep $70

Even though it kind of makes me feel like a kid, I love leggings with bright colors and prints!  These are awesome! They have good compression, but they are not tight and difficult to put on like some leggings.  They maintain their size and shape really well. And bonus! They have pockets!

Dia Active January 2019 - Murray Zip Front Bra Front Dia Active January 2019 - Murray Zip Front Bra Back

Murray Zip Front Bra by Rainbeau Curves – Cost to Keep $35.99

I think the last time I had a zip-front sports bra was upwards of twenty years ago, and now I don’t know why not!  A front closure sports bra is such an amazing design improvement! It’s so easy to put on and close! This one is particularly awesome due to the cool straps and fun print.  So awesome!

Dia Active January 2019 - Cascade Peplum Jacket by Livi Front

Cascade Peplum Jacket by Livi – Cost to Keep $69.95

I don’t typically think the peplum cut is particularly flattering on me, but in jacket form, it seems to be pretty good.  I love the color! This jacket is a poly blend and is super comfortable and trendy! It also has a hood that you can’t see in this picture, but it is always much appreciated in cool weather.

Dia Active January 2019 - Begonia Short Sleeve Top by Shape Activewear Front

Begonia Short Sleeve Top by Shape Activewear – Cost to Keep $39

This top is really the only piece I received in my box this month that I don’t really love.  It is a fully synthetic blend, and I am not wild about the color. It also doesn’t fit very well, unfortunately.

Verdict: This was my third box from Dia Active, and I am loving it! The pink top was a miss but everything else in the box was awesome! The sports bra is amazing. I think it’s my favorite piece in the box this month, but I also love the leggings. I have to say, of all the styling boxes I have tried, I really feel like Dia is the one that most closely reads my feedback and actually tries to make my next box even better. They also have good prices. I love Dia Active! I can’t wait for my next box!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia Active curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $252.94. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $169.71 for the whole box. That’s a discount of about 33%. That’s a great deal!

  1. This looks like such a great box. The Capri leggings color & design are awesome! The jacket is really nice too and I really like the cut. I’m going to look into this sub!
