CampusCube Girls Glow Spa Cube Review

Campus Cube Spa January chillax mask Campus Cube Spa January amazing mask

This month came with some example letters, presumably from your mom and a friend named Mac. They go with the theme of this self-care package for someone far away from home.

Let's dive into the items!

Campus Cube Spa January ex skn mask Campus Cube Spa January ex skn mask back

Daily Wonders Break Up With Your Ex-Skin Cell Mask - Retail Value $9.00

This mask was really calming! It immediately reduced my redness which I always consider a bonus for my sensitive skin. After removing it I gently patted in the remaining serum (there was plenty!) and used my favorite night moisturizer. Bliss.

Campus Cube Spa January charcoal mask Campus Cube Spa January charcoal mask back

Daily Wonders Detox and Chill Mask - Retail Value $9.00

I always recommend products containing charcoal for anyone who is in the middle of a breakout or has acne prone skin in general. Charcoal is one of the most beneficial and natural ingredients you can use to help! This mask felt really nice on and was a treat for my PMS-y and cranky skin.

Campus Cube Spa January pore mask Campus Cube Spa January pore mask back

Daily Wonders Pore Gone For Good Pore Refining Mask - Retail Value $9.00

This mask also had so much serum! While I didn't notice any real pore reduction, I still very much liked this formula and found it relaxing and calming to my skin, which is really all I need in a mask. The smell was fresh and light.

Campus Cube Spa January hair mask Campus Cube Spa January hair mask backuiiiioooii8888o

Essential Wonders Good Har Don't Care Shine Mask - Retail Value $7.00

This mask I actually wasn't a huge fan of, but I don't generally like hair shine products because they decrease the natural texture of my hair and I prefer it a little wild. I know many normal people like soft and shiny hair, so if you fall into that category you will love this mask. It also smells wonderful!

Campus Cube Spa January hand mask Campus Cube Spa January hand mask back

Essential Wonders Talk to the Hand Hand Moisturizing Hand Mask - Retail Value $7.00

I enjoy hand masks and this one was no exception. I used it along with my new electric hand warmers for an extra luxurious experience. The serum absorbed easily into my hands and left them feeling so soft. I plan on buying a few of these to get me through the winter since I am always forgetting gloves and my hands get so red and chapped.

Campus Cube Spa January notepad Campus Cube Spa January notepad inside Campus Cube Spa January notepad back

Go the Extra Mile Notepad

I feel like we always get a cute notepad in this sub, and I always have a use for them! This one is pretty much perfect for grocery lists so I plan on keeping it in my kitchen. It would also be great for leaving notes to your roommates if you have wildly different schedules and miss each other a lot during the day.

Campus Cube Spa January lotion Campus Cube Spa January lotion info

Everyone Lotion in Lavender & Aloe, 6oz - Retail Value $4.59

This lotion smells so good! I love the strong but creamy lavender scent and the formula itself feels great on my skin and absorbs quickly. The formula is heavy on the coconut oil, which should help your skin feel moisturized and healthy. I also covered my feet in this heavier lotion then wore socks over it while I slept, which is one of my favorite super easy self-care steps during the winter months.

Campus Cube Spa January stash tea trio Campus Cube Spa January stash tea trio back

Stash Tea Trio

I truly adore Stash Teas! My favorite hands down is their Double Bergamot Earl Grey, but I like that they included three flavors I don't have in my normal rotation. I also like that all three of these flavors are caffeine free, so you can enjoy them at night while you mask and relax without compromising your sleep later on.

Campus Cube Spa January olly vitamins Campus Cube Spa January olly vitamins back

Olly The Perfect Women's Multi – Buy a 90 gummy container for $13.99

Admittedly, I am really bad about taking vitamins. When they are gummy though, I really can't resist! These handy little packets have one day's worth and they were super easy to toss into my purse and keep with me on the go. They were also super tasty! I might have to become someone who remembers vitamins on a more regular basis!

Campus Cube Spa January pillowcase calm Campus Cube Spa January calm pillowcase detail Campus Cube Spa January calm pillowcase back Campus Cube Spa January glow pillowcase Campus Cube Spa January glow pillowcase detail Campus Cube Spa January glow pillowcase back Campus Cube Spa January eyelash pillowcase Campus Cube Spa January eyelash pillowcase detail Campus Cube Spa January eyelash pillowcase back

Cute Pillowcase Trio

These would have been so incredibly cute in my dorm room! My husband probably wouldn't appreciate them very much now, but I have passed them on to a younger cousin who will absolutely enjoy them much more. I think the illustrations were spot on for the spa theme and I appreciated the sturdy yet soft cotton fabric. Can you ever really have enough pillowcases??

Mood Maker Color Changing Polish - Retail Value $14.00

These polishes weren't that great. They had an incredibly strong Formaldehyde smell and the color changing was really slight and arguably non-existent. The application was also spotty, even on the third coat. While I appreciate the thought in regard to the theme of this sub, unless you just really adore the colors, I would skip these.

Campus Cube Spa January nail polish remover pads Campus Cube Spa January nail polish remover pads open Campus Cube Spa January nail polish remover pads info

Vanilla Scented Nail Polish Remover Pads

Admittedly, I was shocked these little pads worked as well and quickly as they did. When I opened the container, there were absolutely none of the sharp chemical smells I generally associate with nail polish removers. There was a super subtle vanilla scent. I was really pleased with how effective this formula was without the overpowering scent I was so used to.

Campus Cube Spa January toe spreaders Campus Cube Spa January toe spreader detail

Pedicure Foam Toe Separators

This month also come with some super useful toe separators for you to use while you pamper your toes! I like how they send two pairs, as pedicures are always more fun with a friend.

Campus Cube Spa January aloe socks Campus Cube Spa January aloe socks left Campus Cube Spa January aloe socks right Campus Cube Spa January aloe socks detail Campus Cube Spa January aloe socks info

Aloe Infused Spa Socks

These socks are so very cozy! They are infused with skin-loving ingredients like aloe, eucalyptus, and jojoba oil, which means that along with keeping your feet warm, they also give your skin a little love too! The pink color was way cute and they fit snugly, but comfortably.

Verdict: This month's CampusCube basically nailed dorm spa night. I would have absolutely adored this mix of products while in college and would have felt so spoiled to share this haul with my closest girlfriends for a night in of papering before finals. There were more than enough masks to go around, tea for three, and each pal could leave with an adorable pillowcase to remember the evening. The only real miss for me was the nail polish duo, but if you are anything like me you have about a billion other shades in your stash that could easily stand in. Although I was unable to price out the exact values of some of these items, this box has at least a $59.59 retail value considering just the masks, nail polish, and lotion alone. It is a great value!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? Yes, this box is available!

Coupon - For a limited time, save $5 off any order with code MSA5

Value Breakdown: The cost of this box comes to $44.90, including shipping fees. I received a total of 14 items in this box (the pillowcase trio as one item and the nail polish duo also as a single item) which averages out to $3.21 per item.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Cute but way too expensive for what you get. I’m just not impressed. It should be about half the price.

Yes I love the idea but if you have the time anyone could make one of these packed and stuffed full for half the price. But I can see this being a great gift ….

I think the convenience is absolutely part of the pricing. This was really cute but no one makes a care package like my mom used to!

My dad sent the most amazing care packages to me. His homemade fudge made me quite popular with my friends on my floor. I had visions of putting together similar care packages for my son but with amazon and free shipping I go the lazy route and just ship from there.
For finals there is a group of older folks who put together really well thought out care package that we can purchase for the kids. We, the parents, can donate an extra one to a student who may not receive one (students from other countries mostly).
Even with all of that I still contemplate this sub every time a review comes out.

Nikkim

Love the idea but the value and items at that price point could be a lot better imo

I totally agree that convenience is built into the price!

A visit to Target or Walmart (or my household stash) could put such a box together for less. $45 plus shipping is a bit steep for this, alas.

It could certainly be done cheaper, but sometimes even getting to the post office is a chore for me! I am also legit terrible at mailing anything in general.

This is such a great curation!
