Stitch Fix Boys December 2018 pricing sheet

In every Stitch Fix Kids box, they include a pre-paid shipping envelope for returns and information sheets.

Here's the item list of the clothing they selected for my son, and their individual prices. The items total $194 but with my $20 styling fee applied, and the keep-everything 25% off discount, the total adds up to be $125.50

I thought it was cute that the information sheet had a maze on it for your kid, plus the inside flaps of the shipping box have some activities and ideas for how to play with the box, too!

The reverse of that card shows photos of each item (which I love because it makes it easy to reference the pricing sheet!).

Stitch Fix Boys December 2018 green raglan shirt

Primary the Baseball Tee - Cost to Keep: $16

Can you tell Gideon liked this shirt? It's one of our top faves from this box. I love the brand Primary, and the fit is great while still giving him room to grow. The fabric is super soft, and I like this raglan style on him, too.

Stitch Fix Boys December 2018 striped polo

Cotton On Chevy Long Sleeve Polo - Cost to Keep: $18

As I was helping him put this shirt on, he said this shirt wasn't comfortable. This didn't really surprise me because it was a very stiff fabric. Maybe after washing it would soften up? I like the fit but I don't know if we'll keep this one.

Stitch Fix Boys December 2018 white thermal

Tailor Vintage Dean Long Sleeve Thermal Henley - Cost to Keep: $18

This thermal long sleeve shirt is a little big for him, but the style is right on for the kinds of things I'm looking for at the beginning of yet another winter.

Stitch Fix Boys December 2018 don't bug me tee

National Geographic Don't Bug Me Long Sleeve Tee - Cost to Keep: $16

I don't love the phrase, although I know it's meant to be cheeky and cute. That's all a moot point, though, because this shirt wouldn't fit over Gideon's head! Obviously, this one's going back.

Stitch Fix Boys December 2018 yellow tee

Tailor Vintage Greenlee Long Sleeve Graphic Tee - Cost to Keep: $16

This shirt caught Gideon's eye as soon as we looked through the box. I think he liked the yellow and the bear. It fits a little big but it's not too much to wear now. The fabric was very soft and had a nice thickness to it.

Stitch Fix Boys December 2018 blue thermal

Tailor Vintage Dean Long Sleeve Thermal Henley, Navy - Cost to Keep: $18

This shirt is actually the same as the off-white shirt earlier, but something about it fits him better. Maybe somehow this has less fabric in the upper arms? Or the color makes it look better? I'm not sure, but I prefer this navy version.

Stitch Fix Boys December 2018 green hoodie

Tailor Vintage Colorblock Raglan Full Zip Hoodie - Cost to Keep: $24

This is a nice hoodie! It's fleece and is nice and warm. I like the design and quality of this piece! Gideon liked the hoodie front pockets.

Primary Colin the Classic Zip Hoodie, light blue - Cost to Keep: $22

We got an identical hoodie in a grey shade last month which I kept. I like this blue colorway, too! I actually prefer this to the one we kept last month, but since I just bought one I'm not sure about keeping another. The one we have already will get a lot of wear, though I am happy to see more Primary in his Fix.

Tailor Vintage  Gerard Reversible Long Sleeve Hoodie - Cost to Keep: $22

This is another winner! The reversible feature is nice, and because of the extra layer of fabric it adds some warmth. The fit is perfect, and Gideon didn't want to take this one off.

Michael Gerald Mikey Full Zip Color Block Sweater - Cost to Keep: $24

I'm wrapping this review with my favorite item! This is a great knit sweater! I love that it's full-zip and that it has a little collar. This is a nicer layering piece than just a hoodie for over a dressier outfit. I can also tell he's going to have some time in it - definitely through the Winter and Spring. It has a quality weight to it, too, so it's warm and will be perfect for while he's in the car seat since you can't buckle kids up with coats or puffy layers.

The Verdict: This was a great Stitch Fix for Gideon this month! He and I both liked so many of this month's pieces. I also have to say that I am very much appreciating the quality of the items Stitch Fix sends in our kid boxes. The ones we've kept over the last few months have washed and held up well, and I know these pieces will last and get passed down to my younger son. I think the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality. I also like that there are so many items sent - even if you just want to pick one item so you don't lose out on your styling fee, it's not hard to find at least one thing to love without spending much more than you already have with your fee.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Stitch Fix curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what we got, but you will probably get something that fits your child's style and size even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $194. The invoice lists the cost of each item next to it, and if I keep all items, then I get a 25% discount. The $20 styling fee for the box is applied to the purchase no matter how many items you keep, and in this case, it would bring the total down to $125.50. That’s a discount of around 35% for these items!
