At the top of our box were a signed Christmas card and a candy cane which was a nice holiday touch!
The Original Makeup Eraser in Midnight Kisses in Black - Retail Value $20
This is obviously the hero item this month since it is worth the entire cost of the box! I am no stranger to the Makeup Eraser and I am happy to add a second full-size one to my collection. Especially one with such a fun and cute print as this! If you're not familiar with this product, it's pretty amazing! You can remove an entire face full of makeup by just getting this super soft cloth wet with water and wiping your face. It even takes off stubborn waterproof mascara and costume makeup. There are a ton of fun, mesmerizing videos on Instagram that show how well it works, too!
Here is a closeup of both sides. The shorter side is for removing your makeup, while the longer side is for a light exfoliation. The best part of these is that they are reusable and machine washable and since I don't wear a lot of heavy makeup, I can make this last a week before needing a wash by simply using different sections of the cloth. This is definitely a great gift for any mom who is just too tired to do a full nighttime skincare routine, but wants to take off her makeup before bed! Plus, they say these can last for a good 3-5 years before needing to be replaced!
Christmas Cozies Socks - Retail Value $9.99
These socks are super cute and festive, especially all tied up with a bow! I don't think the quality is quite at that $10 retail price, but they are still soft, fuzzy socks that I will be wearing this season to keep me warm!
Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Squares - Buy a 5.4 oz bag for $4.49 (approximately 13 squares)
This peppermint bark is one of my favorite treats when it comes out each holiday season and I didn't know it came in dark chocolate! Yum! This was definitely a welcome treat in this box.
Ribbon Bear Plush - Estimated Value $2?
This was the item for baby in this box and it's not much in the way of value or quality, but it's a cute little teddy with a festive red bow and Bennett did enjoy it! It was just the right size for his tiny hands.
Verdict: This Mama & Baby box was a little bit light, but I think that's because most of the value was in the Makeup Eraser, which I am totally fine with since it's a fantastic product! It's the perfect product for busy mamas and it's also completely giftable since it comes in its own nice box all ready to go. Since that product alone covers the $20 cost of the box, I look at everything else as a bonus and I will definitely use and enjoy the other items, too! I estimate the total value of the box to be around $32.68 which I think is a fair value for a $20 (plus free shipping) box.
